Howdy! /(=・ x ・=)\

I'm a Unity developer who made a pixel art vore platformer game. Play as a bunny and run from big preds! F/player, Free/Under Development, SubscribeStar Support, Requires: Windows

Interesting demo~

I love the little animations of struggling back and forth, and the barebones concept is quite nice~
One thing that can definitely be spiced up is the vore itself. More audio like burps/belches, churns, gurgles etc. that perhaps slowly get louder as your hearts deplete.

I do wonder what more is planned for the actual gameplay. Perhaps collecting something to get away from your pred? Maybe they get slowly more agressive as time goes on? Perhaps a jump and run as you try to escape.

WIll definitely be excited for the future~

Fantastic game. You've got a great pixel-artstyle, and even with little dialogue or no dialogue at all, you got your characters' personalities across rather well. Even forgetting to check the controls, it was pretty easy to pick up on how to play. As a huge voreception enjoyer, that one possibility during the Rubianne level was quite exceptional. I can only hope you add more with future updates.

Regarding what Schagura suggested, I'd say if you were going add more sound effects besides the natural squishes, make them toggalable. There's a serenity right now that's hard to explain.

I'm assuming those grayed out tabs in the background of the options menu are placeholders for stuff that's coming in a future update; otherwise, I couldn't figure out how to access them. I can only imagine what you'd do with a pred or endosoma mode.

Overall, I'd say keep it up. We don't have many platformers, certainly not of this variety. You've got great potential, and I wish I'd found your gallery back when you first put out your game.

Oh my goodness a 2D action platformer game?! You don't see those very often! I am very excited to see where this goes and I wish your development goes well!
And of course, the obligatory self-indulgent questions; 1. Is endo planned? (Oh huh scratch that, the option menu QUITE LITERALLY has a toggle, wow!) 2. What kinda preds will we be able to see in the future? 3. What vore types, too?

EDIT.. 4(? I think?)
I played it and I actually really like the gameplay loop. Simple, but fun. Some of the scenes aren't particularly my cup of tea though, but I will admit they're quite well-animated for something that's so early in development. And the sound effects, which I genuinely don't care for most of the time add to the experience. Shoutouts to the small predator running around in Rubianne's arena, they're close to my type of creature!

ALSO, IF YOU DON'T MIND, could you please vote on the new poll I added? I've been wondering if people would be interested in an online multiplayer aspect to the game, and you could customize your character however you like and limit the game to your preferences, pred or prey...

A multiplayer mode sounds interesting, but it also presents a lot more potential security vulnerabilities. With a downloadable singleplayer game, you just have to worry about if the files are infected (which these don't seem to be), but a downloadable AND online multiplayer game could cause security problems if the multiplayer code isn't airtight and the player you connect to is clever and malicious enough. If possible, I'd recommend making the multiplayer version playable in-browser on the Itch page for an extra layer of security.

As for ideas for how multiplayer could work:
- Prey vs Prey: Players run around trying to evade preds. Whoever is swallowed the least number of times within a time limit, or whoever lasts the longest without being swallowed, wins.
- Pred vs Pred: Two or more pred players run around and catch as many prey as they can within the time limit. Maybe you could use items on other players or to give you an edge in grabbing prey. (Maybe a power-up that makes you bigger and lets you swallow players (who either can try and escape or can quickly respawn) for more points than regular prey...? Players could also eat each other by default, but it'd be easier to escape than if the pred is giant)
- Prey vs Pred: One player acts as the pred, the other(s) is/are prey. Prey avoid(s) the pred, pred wins if they digest all the prey, and prey wins if they either reach a goal or evade the pred for long enough.

I do think the game, SP or MP, could use more platforms and proper levels, even if they're basic at first. I'd try and focus on that before adding more preds, as fun as new preds can be for both the dev and the player.

Quality, amazing, simple game. I was definitely getting burnout from seeing and hearing about fantastical near impossible ideas with ridiculous hiatus' this is truly a great return to form of the good simple days. The Coin Divers, and Raad Runners. Quality artwork and animations, simple theme and gameplay, can't wait to see more I hope this goes far!

Unless if it's my PC spec, I'm unable to select any buttons on the menu. :(
I'm able to move around the menu but can't select any of the buttons.

The controls don't say it (no readme, only on itch.io page) but you do EVERYTHING with arrow keys. Pressing the right arrow key is selecting things. Pressing the left one is going back.
If that's not why, then I am unsure.

The game have a bit uncommon menu navigation, it uses [right key] for select and [left key] for back. Were you using those or were you using [Enter]?

Side note: I know what this game reminds me of! It reminds me of BarbFTR, minus the fact that you can't attack in Indulge Me.
I was kind of hoping that one of the predators will try to attempt to jump at you if you try to walljump (Excluding Rubianne and the little critter I forgor the name :skull:).

Played it yesterday, but didn't have time to comment til now. That was a pretty fun little session I had. I really enjoyed it~

I love the digestion you have in the game. Really love weight gain for the preds, so I'm definitely a big fan of that. I like the little differences you got going for each stage so far, and I'm eager to see what else you got in store. Was cool you got a few different vore scenes for all the preds as well.
I'm wondering if you'll have any main preds in the future that are same size? Like the little one in the 2nd(?) stage. I liked the vore scene, but I was a little bummed to see they don't digest you.

One thing I'll throw a criticism at is that the preds kinda look a bit too similar, though that's mostly just for their body structure, of course.

And also I did find a bug with the last stage's pred, where if she caught you and digested you, the digest and weight gain animation would repeat on the game over screen. Only saw it once though, so I haven't tried it again to see if it kept doing that.

Overall, really great and promising game you got here!
When it comes to most bosses, thank god for obvious, glowing weak spots.

Yeah. I like the concept, it's solid for an early build. All the characters have very distinct designs too, you can't mistake this for anything else, which works to it's favour.

I'd say the main flaw IMO is lack of options: your only means of survival are to move one way, move the other, a jump that doesn't provide many advantages, and the wall bound that - while unique - can be failed pretty easily if you mistime it.

2 gameplay suggestions, all in a spoiler if you don't want to see them:

Having some extra options to move around, or some little tricks you could use to buy you time, would be great: Perhaps there's some clever counter you could perform to stun the preds briefly, so you can get away...? Like what if you had a useless slap move, a character lunged, and you perfectly timed it so you tap them on the head and parry or reverse their attack? It's not combat, more little stylish tricks to embarrass and frustrate. In fact, the ability to deliberately bait and mess with the preds would be incredibly funny - You can try to survive as normal, but perhaps you could also drive them up the wall and survive at the same time...? Would make for a fun bonus objective, and a way to add new attacks, holds and animations to fit the increasing anger of the preds: Their fun and games will go from "Indulge Me" to "GET BACK HERE SO I CAN WRING YOUR NECK"

Yeah, the only other thing I'd think would be really cool would be if you had lil "brothers" and "sisters", other tiny critters that are also trying to survive, and are a simple tweak of the player character's design. You could tie some sort of mechanic or technique to them, like throwing them, or bouncing on their heads. This'd likely be easier than the other suggestion, though I'm no expert on scripting so... do what you will.

I want to suggest stuff that won't change the core idea too much, just a way to expand on what you can do with it.
