Bidding your comforts farewell, you set off to assault this evil and prove yourself. Blinded by glory, you decided that none shall accompany you. Staging a one-man siege on this terrible fortress won't be easy... you'll need your wits about you if you hope to succeed! Any number of traps could be lying in wait in the darkness, waiting to put an end to your adventure. Your choices will be paramount to your survival...

Featuring 70k words of heated M/M anthro smut, this is my largest project to date! Based on the choice-based, bad-ending-focused gameplay of Dragon's Lair, this is my take on a DOS-style smutty text adventure. Heavily inspired by the works of Mahiri and Gorgonlurker, it's been a ton of fun to cook up scenes over the last few months. While the adventure may be wild and lewd, I hope you follow this journey to the end! Or at least discover a delicious fate to end your tale~

All written portions of this game were developed without the usage of Generative AI. Gen AI was utilized to create visual components, such as character portraits and background imagery.

This is pretty good!

Minor nitpick: the ledger has "Serpantine" where it should be "Serpentine".

Suggestions to other players:
1) Don't play online, download the game so the ledger of scenes stays full in case you switch browsers or clear cookies, the download is small (14MB webpage) and doesn't require installation.
2) Notice the little backwards curly arrow at upper-left of scenes, it rewinds so it's easier to try different options, took a while for me to spot it with the color scheme.

Suggestion to author: maybe add a checkpoint to the ledger to skip the end of forest/wings after filling out that section?

Edit. One thing though: when I downloaded the game, I couldn't get the pictures to show while playing? Is there a way to fix that?

I tried both and the pictures work fine in browser but when I go to download it and click on the file, none of the pictures show for some reason. Does it require some set up after downloading?

I downloaded from Itchio and have no issues with pictures showing up when I run it on Chrome or Opera. No setup needed, just extract the folder from within the zip file and run the html file. Make sure you enable them from the starting screen, otherwise they won't show up.

Yeah the toggle works fine on browser but not on download. Really can't figure out what's the hitch. Kind of unfortunate since without the ability to save the game gets tedious to play.

That is exceedingly odd. Even when I don't extract the files from the zip, the images still work fine for me in either browser. Never had a similar issue with html games. I hope you find a solution! You may encounter a similar issue later down the line. Have you tried in another browser? It may be a settings issues. Twine games tend to have conflicts with certain privacy settings in Chrome and Firefox depending on how you configure things. It's usually only in games that directly let you save, but this still has some form of data retention, so who knows.

Just finished sinking my teeth into this and unlocking all the endings and I must say - Bravo!

As an enjoyer of primarily M/M furry vore content, it's rare to find new games being made that appeal to me at all, let alone ones that are well made. Even as someone who doesn't particularly have a taste for fembois, it was good fun reading the fates involving them. This definitely scratched an itch that I've had for a while, and I hope to see more stuff from you in the future whether it's updates to this game or something else. Seriously, well done.
