Hi!
I’m continuing my story about game development and other size‑difference content.
My name is still Helen, and I’m still a single mother with two children, working three jobs at different factories.
I work on creating size‑difference images late in the evenings on weekdays. And on weekends (also late in the evenings, since household chores and spending time with my children can’t be skipped), I work on developing size‑difference games.
At the moment, I’m working alone, without any help. All I can rely on are my own strength and enthusiasm.
Please take the above into account and understand why development is slower than I’d like it to be.
If anyone has any questions, I sincerely ask you to take some time to read all my previous posts about game development. They contain answers to many questions. I simply don’t have the time to describe my entire story in every post. Thank you so much for your understanding.
Even though I’ve mentioned my stance on excessive violence, blood, crushing, etc., in previous posts many times, I keep getting questions on this topic. Please take a moment to read my older posts.
Size Difference World:
Final Exam:
One reason for the lack of violence is that it’s prohibited on Patreon. Violence is strictly against the platform’s rules, and since Patreon is the main platform for distributing my content, I have to follow its guidelines.
So, last week, my followers chose the direction for the story that will be developed first. Last weekend, I wrote the script for the next chapter (the script might change during development), and work began this weekend.
I tried to create the script so that I could publish a finished section of the game at the beginning of next month. However, I now realize I might not make it by the start of May. Nevertheless, I assure everyone that a working build — in whatever state I manage to complete it — will be published on Patreon and Boosty at the beginning of May. And if I manage to bring the next part to a logical conclusion before June, I’ll publish it out of turn.
At the end of the current part of the game, I plan another story branch, and in connection with this, I’ll run a new poll. Actually, there will be two polls.
The first part of the poll will be about whether to continue developing the current story branch or go back to the end of the prologue and start developing another branch from an existing choice.
The second part of the poll will be about which story branch to choose for further development.
But until we get to that point, I’m continuing to create content for the current part. This week, I managed to create as many as two new images, which I consider a great achievement. Usually, I only manage to create one image due to my heavy workload from my main jobs.
The new images have already been uploaded to the private gallery on Patreon and Boosty.
In this thread, I’m not publishing new game images yet. Everything in its own time! But to keep interest in my stories from fading too quickly, I’m attaching one of my old images in a very old style under the spoiler. This style won’t appear in the current game.
I’d like to say a few words about the game Size Difference World, whose development is currently on hold. I keep getting questions about this game.
Although I’ve written about this in a separate thread (see the link above) I’ll repeat that pausing development of Size Difference World was a necessary measure. I’m not able to handle such a complex game on my own. When I started developing this RPG, I had no idea how difficult it would be! During development, I tried to simplify the gameplay as much as I could, but it didn’t help. Then I got an assistant who helped me with the script. Unfortunately, circumstances meant I was left on my own again. I won’t go into details — the fault lies entirely with me. I simply believe I have no right to demand anything from people who help on a voluntary basis. Because of this, to get exactly what I need, it’s better for me to work alone. If I had the funds and opportunities, I would hire assistants for pay. I can only expect strict adherence to deadlines and precise execution from assistants I pay for their services.
After I was left alone again without any assistants, I got completely lost in the script and decided to put the game’s development on hold indefinitely.
After a lot of thought, I finally decided on a game I can make on my own (and which isn’t a platformer). This is how the development of the visual novel with a non‑linear plot "Erindale: The Code of Reality" began. I’m making it at a pace my three main factory jobs and two children allow. And I apologize to everyone who feels I’m not active enough. I promise that as soon as I have the opportunity to dedicate more time to development, I’ll definitely take advantage of it and release new content much more often! And there will be more content.
A huge thank you to everyone who supports me. The game is being developed solely thanks to your support!
Sorry I can't reply to everyone who writes to me.
