Hey. I'm back.

Remember Monster Girl Rancher? Well, I'm making it again, but from scratch, and also better. Why? Because I think I can do better. And also catastrophic hardware failures caused me to lose the original source code. It happens.

Now admittedly, I don't actually have a playable build at this exact moment. But I do have a Patreon where you can get a more organized view of what I'm making, how progress is going, and ways to support me. Playable builds will be released to the public at no charge, but people willing to pledge money will gain access to development builds, as well as other benefits. Have a look to learn more!

Once I have a stable and playable build ready, I will also be releasing the game on itch.io as well, so keep an eye out for that as well!

Really happy that this is coming back. I was really intrigued in the first game and was worried that something like it wouldn't be seen again. Will we be able to choose the player's gender at all? The differences post is locked behind patreon so I'm not sure if we'll be able to get that same freedom as in the first game.

Oh, yes. Player customization will still be a feature, including the gender.

Will male and female be the only choices for gender, or will it be an option to make the character a futanari? Not sure how detailed you plan on making the characters or different interactions so im curious

I do have to say I'm a tiny bit concerned with the fact the game will be entirely menu based. Part of the fun of the last game was getting to interact with your monsters and do everything that entailed.

Will there still be animations?

Will we still get player prey content?

I'm sadly not the biggest fan of futanari, and player gender has actual gameplay effects, so it is going to be restricted to just male and female.

All prior gameplay features (collecting items, vore, breeding, etc) will be returning. The only real change menus-only will have is no longer needing to walk around everywhere.

Animations will likely not be happening. At least not for a long while.

I posted a preview about the mouse controls in the new game. It's a very small thing, but I recall a lack of mouse control being a complaint in the original game, so I figured it was significant enough to share.
