My favorites list currently holds 4, but I know I've seen at least one more live action one and two more animated ones which I can no longer find on youtube. I think both the animated ones were in black and white, meaning the story dates back a while. I don't know a lot about Chinese culture, but I assume the story has a big legacy, which would be why there are so many versions and interpretations of it.
In fact, the new game, "Enslaved: Odysee to the West" is a VERY LOOSE interpretation to Journey to the West, although, unfortunately, there are no endo scenes in that game as far as I know...
Also, wikipedia (
