Feral / Animal Prey and Anthro preds

Unfortunately an example of extreme niche finding, I've been cursed and blessed with absolutely loving Anthro/Human preds voring animal prey, and on top of that, also only can stomach endo. As for why, I can only point towards the neat parts I like
For instance, feral prey are rarer, but much more fun in feederism type scenarios, as they can function like cute lil props with ease, only really having to squirm and make cute muffled noises. It's also ripe for fun scenes to fill my thoughts, such as being fed a whole dog park, or choking down a box of kittens, or getting caught swallowing your roommates cat, etc etc~
I also really love the dynamics of intelligent and animal, like, for instance, pet and master. There's something incredibly unique about pets in particular that's hard to put my finger on. They are cute, lovable, and that makes them delicious to me. Even better when an owner is eating, or feeding someone else, their own pet~
Although that's rare, it being endo makes it a good bit rarer! I understand and don't shame the appeal of digestion, even if I very much don't like it. I think it's a shame that so few art pieces actually show care for the critters. After all, a wagging tail in a gut, or purring, must feel absolutely heavenly~ Oh, and keeping em safe is a plus too, outside of the vorny pleasure of feeling their squirms work through me~
I try to make art to help fill in this lil lovely and super hot niche best I can~

Human pred on feral prey is definitely one of my all-time favorite things! I've drawn and written it a few times but not nearly enough. Endo is too rare in general too.

anthro on prey is a pretty fun theme. I love any mix of the three! Anthro on feral, human on feral, anthro on human.. I think it's the contrast and the power dynamics that do it for me.

Awesome question that I don't have a great answer for! Here's my best guess anyways
Part of the appeal is the contrast for me, it's a kind of power dynamic between sapient and not. I can't entirely explain it myself... I also just find non-sapient feral prey to be more adorable than the alternative, and it also requires one less logical leap (not that that generally applies too much when endo vore is involved lmao). It just makes sense that a pet from the pet store for example will just bark and squirm rather than say anything, and that simplifies both scenarios and proper rp. Not that I don't have any love for sapient ferals, but usually I just prefer the ones who ain't.
