Willing, or unwilling?
I'm entirely sure this was done already, but some answers could be new, or same people could vote for something different who knows. But I'm curious what kind of pred, or prey do you prefer?
- As predator, do you prefer willing or unwilling prey?
- As prey, do you prefer unwilling, or willing predators?
For me, if the predator just wants a buddy to hold in their belly with no digestion what so ever, I'd instantly be a willing prey, as long as it was a friendly predator!
I usually like fish, and sometimes sharks and orcas as predators. But i know not all sharks are friendly. But there could be rare times when one encounters a friendly shark who just wants love, and a buddy inside their belly. XD
If this topic been done already, whatever. I can't find another/older topic right now if there is one.

I'm a dolphin that prefers devouring my best buddy.
He loves to be eaten by me. I don't mind that at all.

Re: Willing, or unwilling?
Since there wasn't an option for it I'll post a comment for what my vote is, my favorite is Semi-willing Prey, Willing Pred. Semi-willing is between willing and unwilling. It's when part of them enjoys it, yet part of them is nervous/afraid.

Hate being difficult, but it largely depends on the scenario. I'm fine with pretty much any combination.

Re: Willing, or unwilling?
As a typical rule, I prefer willing predator, unwilling/reluctant prey, but I'm flexible. There's a certain fun to preds that eat more out of necessity than desire.
Of course I have to wonder how a scenario where both participants are unwilling would work out?

Re: Willing, or unwilling?
When it comes to willing or unwilling it's mutuality that I don't particularly care for. Willing predator and prey is therefore my least favourite combination. Particularly when they both explicitly possess the Vore fetish and are exploring it "together", just... nah.
The standard unwilling prey and willing pred is my favourite combination, but I'm also very fond of unwilling pred and willing, dominant prey (a really interesting scenario, particularly in macro/micro situations. One I've always meant to explore more in my work). There has to be some sort of conflict of interests though.

The pred is always willing. The prey however It's a question about if i'm in the mood. For he moment I'm really into willing prey. But unwilling is my all time favorite.

Re: Willing, or unwilling?
All kinds of combinations, it just all depends on many things. The feelings of the people involved and what not.
Sometimes I like a rather nebulous air about the situation until all is said and done. The prey can be willing and then unwilling after the deed is done, or the other way around, or flop back and forth between the two until the end. The same goes for the pred.
So, I can't really vote.

Re: Willing, or unwilling?
Willing pred, and unwilling prey everytime, barring possible exception.
If a pred ate an unwilling prey by accident, but either didn't care that they had, or simply saw this a good thing (basically getting a "free snack" rather feel guilty that they'd just eaten someone) is this unwilling or willing pred? I also like "unknowing pred" occasionally, which again fits into accidental vore.

Re: Willing, or unwilling?
For me, it really depends. I voted for the "depends on pred" option, though really, "depends on prey" also applies... I like it when there's some kind of emotional relationship between the predator and the prey, but the actual vore could go in any direction depending on exactly what kind of relationship it is, and whether vore in the setting is fatal, non-fatal, or up to the pred to decide. I can imagine awesome scenarios where both are willing, or only the pred is willing; some of my favourite scenarios, though, are when neither is willing, but some circumstance forces the vore on them.

Re: Willing, or unwilling?
I suppose I could add more options for the poll, though I think there's a limit on the number. But it's probably too late by now, since there's been a number of replies to the post since poll was created. Sorry about that. :-/

Re: Willing, or unwilling?
I think you covered all the bases. What other choices are there that aren't just modified variations of the sliding scale of willing to unwilling? Reluctant prey may be able to become willing or even comfortable with their fate, but ultimately I'd still count them as unwilling. You give too many options and the data winds up being useless.

I can imagine a scenario where a third party forces one to eat the other. This comic for instance has at one point one character of dubious willingness eat another as a result of a competition to not be eaten.

Re: Willing, or unwilling?
There was an awesome comic involving a both-participants-unwilling scenario in the gallery here at Eka's portal, but sadly I think the artist has since taken this work down. In brief, the comic involved a family of dragons (well, dragon-ish beings, anyway) who hunted small, neko-like prey creatures together. One of the dragons was very reluctant to eat or kill his prey, and ended up befriending one of the creatures instead. This dragon's mother caught him hanging out with his new friend and, to teach him a lesson on how to be a proper dragon, force-fed the prey to him. It was a very sad scene, and a very well-done comic.

Re: Willing, or unwilling?
I'd have to say that the good old fashioned willing pred and unwilling prey is typically what piques my interest. The idea of the prey having no control over their circumstances is one of the things I like most when it comes to vore scenarios, but I always like to see new things done when it comes to vore roles.
Both parties being willing, however, is something I'm not a huge fan of. I can tolerate it, certainly, but vore loses a lot of the appeal for me when it is fully consensual.
That being said, both parties being unwilling is a concept I'm quite fond of. Though unwilling might not be as proper a term as 'ambivalent' or just 'mixed feelings'. I especially like the idea of a pred unintentionally eating or possibly HAVING to eat a friend of theirs (for survival) and trying to comfort their prey but knowing and acknowledging the concept that they won't be able to help them, all the while enjoying the feeling of having a full, struggling gut.

I heavily prefer willing, both pred and prey. Unwilling prey can also be good sometimes, but only if it's non-fatal. Willing fatal vore can also be good, sometimes.

Re: Willing, or unwilling?
Went with depends on pred (though prey is also depends). I mostly get my vore fix via pics, and the art and characters are more important there. Is the pred and prey cute or sexy? Is the pic adorable or hawt? Is the scenario funny or interesting? A little girl getting scolded for voring her classmates? Cute and fun, especially if they're still wriggling in her tummy. A catboy accidentally sitting on and unwillingly anal voring his mouse-boy bf? Amusing and cute! One was willing pred, the other unwilling pred, but both scenarios made it work (really would like to see the later one drawn someday, should save my money for a commission someday). Admittedly it's probably harder to do willing prey that fits my tastes, but I'm sure it can be done.
I suppose if I ever get comfortable enough to try roleplay that kind of thing would be more important, but for 2D porn pics it's cute>>>hawt>>>fun>>>everything else.
