Synopsis:
In a world where certain a few women can swallow people whole, you have fallen head over heels for your neighbor, Eva. Eva is a pred, she had to notify the neighborhood when she moved in, and you don't care. Eva needs a little convincing before she will open her heart. Can you survive the effort to persuade her?

v0.15 11-27-15 :
-Took care of the text alignment errors and out of boundaries errors.
-Adjusted the difficulty of the first scene, still possible to escape on the 1st attempt, but more unlikely.
-Made changes to the system. Hitting 0 time left will trigger a last chance interaction, the scene will reach it's conclusion with any input from that point, one way or another.
-Increased resolution, game now renders in 640x480. Images should be a little less pixelated from the required downscale, and it gives me more landscape in the dialogue windows, so I can pack more into each. You guys like reading books out of tiny little windows, right?

-Added 1st progress game! This ties up any loose threads I had left from the demo phase, and introduces another thread or two I'll need to attend to later on.

Hey guys. I've been in and out for a number of years, fiddling with things here and there. Never really contributed more than a couple mods for a few games on the portal.

That changes today! . . . Yeah too tired to maintain that level of excitement.

You see, I just spent all of last night familiarizing myself with RPG Maker. Yes yes, "Oh noes itz another rpgmaker gayme" Yep, it's an easily accessible engine that people with low levels of experience can learn in order to provide content. I'm not going to teach myself Java in an evening, mad props to everybody who can make an actual engine from the ground up.

Phew, rant over. Way to tired to argue with myself. I guess now comes the part where I spout off what is in the game, it's elements, maybe some screen shots . . . you know what, nah. I won't do screen shots. You'll see why in a moment.

So for the nuts and bolts of this thing. This is primarily a proof of concept, but it has one complete, fully fleshed out scene. We're talking more text than is in this post (Like, whoa) Custom "art" (No photo shops here) and no, it's not sprites. There's a girl to look at, AND she has bewbs. Huzzah! **Cough** Right so one scene, fairly limited in scope, but we do what we can. More importantly there is an actual engine written up that I can copy and use as a template for future scenes (I won't even be recycling the dialogue!)

Okay, enough 8am faux-witty banter. Game Has:

F/M Samesize Oral, yes, vanilla as vanilla can be, well, I guess it could be micro. But c'mon, everybody loves vanilla, right! Right!?

Scene has 2 endings, and multiple branching paths, you may need to play through it a couple (read as:a dozen or three) times to see all the little tidbits I added.

Oh, did I forget to mention it's an RPG Maker game w/o the RPG? It's a lot closer to a VN, but I know how to use RPG Maker now, sooooooo.

Right, anyway, RPG without the RPG, F/M Samesize Oral Vore, player is Prey. Probably full of format errors, as I am still having issues with the text cutoffs (The arrows lie!) But I am reasonably confident in the grammar and spelling, so there shouldn't be too many egregious eyesores. Unless I forgot how to spell Maneuver (oh, fancy that, no red lines under that one. Thanks Ayrion built in spell check!)

Oh, one thing that I'll have to get fixed by the next release, whenever that is, y'know, aside from the aforementioned hideous text box formatting. My RPG Maker copy is Japanese, it'll run on everybody's stuff, I imagine, but I still need to change the Start - Continue - Quit to Desktop options from the title screen. Everything else is English, Never Fear! As for functionality, The top option is New Game, the Middle is Continue, and the Bottom is Close.

It looks great so far. Some text is cut off by the screen in some parts.

I love the artwork and the possibility to save at moments.

The scene is very well done and perfectly written. My compliments for that.

Gamewise, there are some problems. Most importantly, if the timer is on 0 and you try to manouver and fail, the game won't end there. The only way to "lose" is to pass the timer and select rest.

I personally think the odds of escaping right away is too high. I've tried quite some runs to test it and I think about 50+% times I escaped after 1 manouver.

Apart from that, very lovely game and I wonder where the game will go from here.

Hmm, you'd think in my wall of text I'd have mentioned that, but nope, I think I hit on every potential tangent except a synopsis. Oops.

Anyway, its a concept I've had bouncing around my head for a while. Boy meets girl, girl is a pred. Boy still wants girl. Girl likes boy but is worried some strumpet will gobble him up while she isn't looking.

So girl comes up with a win win for her, she either gets a boyfriend, or lunch.

Thanks for the review, Lurker. I definitely do need to work on rebalancing, and the text layout will need a glossing over, and a few layers of polish.

As I recall, the timer ending only on a rest was intentional, allowing the player to burn through any SP they might have remaining. With the balance as it ended up that's totally unnecessary I see now.

Thank you for your kind words regarding the writing, I've mostly written for personal satisfaction, and only early share what I come up with. It's nice to hear feedback on that front.

Perhaps at some point there could be a key item that allows you to be nommed and not die... Some kind of acid-repelling gel or a forcefield if you want to get sci-fi... I like vanilla and micro vore fairly evenly, and if there is micro, maybe have Eva tease you on the way in. Heck, if you manage to survive that, it could impress her to try something other than vore... But that's all up to you. I'm pulling for ya Erecant.

Update: V0.20

Changelog:
Spoiler: show
-Streamlined engine to facilitate content expansion.
-Added Experience and Affection systems
-Made an intermission interface to navigate to scenes and spend resources
-Two new scenes! Of similar length and structure to the first. Still Samesize F/M
-Groundwork laid for an actual story progression
-Probably some other things that I did in v0.17 (totally got caught up in writing and forgot to upload v0.17 and just steamed through to v0.20, oops)

I'd ask for some internal sounds to make the mini-game feel more immersive, but other than that, I'm really loving the idea of this game. 'Can't wait to see what else you do! :D

Oh, I hadn't even thought of sound effects. Good catch! I'll see about getting something together for the next version.

Hmm, are you using the newest version? I upped the difficulty and made it require 3 successes to escape before time runs out

I just realized I downloaded the .15 version and not .20....I could've sworn I did the latter. Oh well, more content!

Haha, always a nice surprise. I kind of went rapid fire on these updates so I could get some early development process feedback. So while it may flow relatively quickly for now, it can be easy to fall behind and miss something. (Heck I forgot to even upload v0.17)

I can't seem to beat Endurance mode; Speed's pretty easy, however.
