Re: International Vore Competition
Ok, here's a suggestion. Originally from the Isle of Skye, Kim MacKirdie (I checked - there is such a surname but it's very unusual) moved to Edinburgh at the age of 18 and spent a year waitressing there until she heard about the Vore Restaurant in London. She was always fascinated by stories of mermaids and sea monsters attacking ships as a young girl, and got interested in vore through that. She's quite tall, with shoulder length red hair and freckles, and is a fluent Gaelic speaker. She's friendly and outgoing, and likes eating new people. Sorry, meeting new people. Or maybe both

She's in!
By the way, what city (or other location) will the Oceania / South America qualifiers be held in (if you're writing them)?

Not sure yet - I'm still writing a story about the new Australian competitor, so it could be wherever you like really. I am hoping to get this story out soon

The European qualifiers are now up!
http://aryion.com/g4/view/240718
I've now written three regional qualifiers; I won't be writing the other two. I leave them to whoever's interested.
SPOILER BELOW: the list of qualifiers following the European event. Do not click until you've read the story.

Re: International Vore Competition
It's finally up - my first story for many months, and I hope people like it. It partly involves a cricket match, so apologies right away to people who don't know anything about this great game. Hopefully that won't cause any problems and I try to explain things as I go along.
The main development is that we have a new Australian challenger for the IVC, although there is a twist in the tale which might cast some doubt on whether she will take part. Here's the location of the story: http://aryion.com/g4/view/241308

Hello there...
As you may know, I'am a very old fan of your works, and, by the way, I'd be greatly joyful to read the one of yours...
I'm still writing a little myself, and going on, I will probably leaded to mention IVC and different kinds of "vore restaurant".
I really don't want to offense anybody, so I wonder if you would let me add to your work with mine, by mentioning some of your ideas ?
Thanks to let me know...
cheers

I'm thinking I might write a story at some point taking this idea in more of a Same Size direction.

Well… It would be based in a different setting, then. They can't do same-size at the IVC. But yes, by all means, if it inspires you, go with it!

Re: International Vore Competition
Ok thanks to you !
It's a work in progress, so it's far from be finished, but I'll send you a message when I'll publish it.
Actually, I integrate the world in which exists IVC, but I'm not sure to write precisely about IVC.
Anyways, I thought it was better to ask you before mention it at less.
What's new from your side ? Any IVC story to come soon ?

No, unfortunately I haven't got any IVC stories planned right now. September to January is a very busy period for me at work, so it's my least productive time of the year in terms of writing. And the story ideas I've got at present are not IVC ones.
Of course, I'll come back to the IVC at some point. Cherry has withdrawn from future competitions, but we'll see see Mitsuko, Carla, Patricia and the others taking on new, emerging challengers. On that note, if anyone would like to write any of the regional qualifiers for the next IVC, just let us know (in this thread)! Maybe we'll see Cherry doing a private vore or two again, too, if I have enough inspiration.
Oh, and TheWiking2000 has expressed an interest in doing a short IVC video at some point. Nothing guaranteed, but that would certainly be exciting. To see the lovely young ladies of the IVC walking and talking and eating, and feeling far too full. :p Putting faces to their names!
Edit: By the way, just so it isn't lost forever, I've uploaded this old picture of Cherry by D1g1talDesignzor: http://aryion.com/g4/view/319291 .

Re: International Vore Competition
Recently I've been lacking inspiration regarding the IVC. But several of my readers have provided me with new ideas, and I'm probably going to get back into writing in this setting.
I'm thinking of skipping descriptions of the qualifiers, and going straight to the finals. This is where you come in. I'm taking suggests as to:
- where (what country, what city) the finals should take place in; and
- who the finalists should be.
The host city has to be somewhere with public parks available, for reasons which will be made clear. As for the finalists (i.e., the list of competitors who advanced from the regional qualifiers), I'll be using the same formula as for the previous competition.
Defending champion: automatically qualified
North and Central America: three places
South America and Oceania: two places
Europe: three places
Africa: one place
Asia: two places
+ one place for the host country if no-one from the host country has qualified
So we have:
Automatic qualifier as defending champion: Mitsuko Nakajima (née Takagi) (Japan)
North and Central America
- Patricia Freimann (USA) will qualify
- I'm reserving a spot for a challenger from Barbados, who will play a fairly important role
- That leaves one spot open for you, my readers, to decide.
South America and Oceania
- Mona Sheahann or Carla Brenning (Australia) have a guaranteed spot if you want them to, bedfordsb.
- That leaves one spot to claim.
Europe
All three places are up to you to decide! Cherry will not be competing. Among those who may qualify are Abena Owu (Ireland), Sahiba Yilmaz (Turkey), Oksana Belach (Kalukijan), Kim MacKirdie (UK). Or an entirely new character, of course.
Africa
Africa's only spot goes to Aminata Diamé (Senegal), a character who failed to qualify last time.
Asia
Mitsuko doesn't need to qualify (she's in automatically), so there are two spots up for grabs. I'll let you decide. Hanah Yadin (Israel), who was the main character of story 89, is one possibility.
Tell me what you'd all prefer, and I'll draw up the list of qualifiers accordingly.

Re: International Vore Competition
Very pleased to see all the suggestions on your blog, some really imaginative ideas, and good to hear that you're planning a new story.
Well, Mona's a good character as she's a typically spiky, upfront Aussie! But one of my stories mentions that her stomach, whilst being highly efficient, just isn;t quite big enough, so she's unlikely to win. Maybe she could be there to support Carla?
Oksana would of course be trying some underhand ruse to qualify, but maybe the organisers have realised that she needs watching ...

Carla is definitely in, then! For Oksana… I'm sure she can qualify on merit, without any underhandedness? If you'd like her to appear, she can have a slot.

Oksana - well yes, she could easily qualify on merit. I'd like to think she would be trying to undermine the other contestants too whilst sneering at decandent Western capitalism, etc, etc!
