Considering that the entire server is down right now littlesnak, I'm sure your MC setup has nothing to do with it.

Bear with us on this one, I'm sure Cookie will fix it once he wakes up.

If you're referring to the version of Minecraft, it can't be updated until MPM and all of the plugins have been updated.

Hey all, long time no see!

Life's been keeping me busy for the last...wow, I guess almost a year, since the last time I logged in. New job, school, and a few personal projects have really been eating up my time, but I'm now frequently finding time where I have 1 or 2 hours of free, private time every now and then, and I was thinking of kind of coming back to the server to build again. I just first wanted to ask if the Art world is something people still use? Or if I'd be better off downloading what I have done there now, and maybe making my stuff a single-player world available for download?

Hope to see you soon, Cheers!

Hiii Komaruu~ Wonderful to hear we might get to see you again ^w^
The art world is still very much in use, although i think some might appreciate your wonderful builds in a singleplayer map as well. ^^

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards single-player, I think. Only because I wouldn't have to worry about running out of space or the like! But regardless, once I get all set up again, I'll definitely drop by and say hello!

If you're worried about running out of space on your plot, you can always build above or below it - a lot of people kinda forget that artworld plots cover the entire Y axis and neglect to utilize that space, but I guess I can't blame anyone for not realizing that. ^^;

Haha! I actually beat you to that ;p

At least in some of my builds, some of the "guts" of the build are below ground already, usually figuratively, redstone and such, and sometimes literally, Mudkip for example, although still unfinished (I think?) has paths for UB/CV/AV, but the actually "structure" was only big enough to fit the guts for one type of vore, so the others are tucked away underground already. ;p

Regardless of what I decide though, I'll definitely keep all interested parties updated as I finish builds. Not sure how often it'll be with everything I mentioned in my previous post, and it'll probably be sporadic depending how my own schedule lines up with my roommate's (Another reason for kind of preferring the single-player route, I hate leaving unfinished builds and having to step away for a week or three, haha)

But, like I said, either way, I'll be seeing you all online soon, I'm hoping to have a bit of time to kill tomorrow, so may be as early as then!

Apologies for the double post, but I wanted to ask before it slipped my mind again. It's worth noting first that prior to the vorecraft server, I had really never even touched Minecraft, and I haven't really played at all from like 1.8.7 or whatever version we were on last Oct. or so to now, but I was wondering if something either in MC itself, or with the server has changed in regard to command blocks in the Art World?

I can no longer simply edit them by right clicking, and when I tried to copy the little section of Pokemon I have with World Downloader in order to continue my work in SP mode, All the command blocks copied over blank, as opposed to the copy I made last summer which is missing some of my recent work, but did copy command block info (although, admittedly, WDL has changed a bit over the last year, so it's possible that that feature was simply removed/no longer works). Not overly concerned about this anyway, as there's some stuff I've wanted to change on my older builds, but would require essentially that I rebuild them from scratch, so if I have to start again, I can take advantage of that! ;p

The ability to edit command blocks is limited only to high level staffers if I recall right. Specifically, admins and OPs. Weren't you one of those when you originally made those builds? That would explain a lot.

Yeah, I had a kind of understood "admin-in-name-only" rank after the change in ownership in order to work with Command Blocks, I thought I still saw the red [A] when I was on the other day, but I may be wrong.

It's all good though, I think I'm going to start from scratch with a single-player world anyway. There really are a few things I'd like to fix with my earlier builds, and working in SP gives me some freedom to experiment with a couple of mods that might help construction as well!
