Try going back to Fae after eating the daughter.
(make sure you're on update 0.42, I forgot to change the front page link until now)

I feel like I'm missing something. Where/how do I heal? When I go to an Inn, the protagonist just goes "Nope!" at being offered a room.

There is only 1 way to heal - get eaten and revive - congrats you are at full health .

BTW, any news on the next beta ?

Hope all is good, new stuff continues at guild once Hera disappears and Elise does her excursion.
also new variation to both ogrim pred scenes so you can survive (+more) them. Also some minor repeat/0 regen variations to the Iris pred scene.

1) After the new scene at the brothel the Mysty's image remains.
2) If you speak with the ambassador after the new brothel scene, she says the lines as if she was the pred in the scene.
