ANNOUNCEMENT: JULY 2020

Hi people. Game probably won't be worked on due to an indefinite hiatus.
Here are some notes about the game so you can get it running:

There are no instructions as of this stage, but some useful commands are:
eat
walk
wait
stop
me
girls
green
lookup

I suggest you input all commands as lower case (including names), because there are some minor bugs when using upper case.
If you wish to pass character creation, or selecting a character, feel free to use the command 'debug' from the main menu.

Hi guys, over my two week Christmas break I put together a pretty small text-based vore game based at a Senior High.
It's fairly barebones at the moment, but I've set up quite a lot of infrastructure in the ~50 hours of work I've devoted to it.

The game is in a very early (but playable) build at this stage.

Features include:
    character creation
    dynamic dialogue
    multi-prey
    very shitty early-stage stat interaction
    optional weight gain
    optional furry mode (default is girls/monster girls)

Planned features include:
    save/load feature
    new game+
    The Sims style dialogue options
    reputation/relationship system
    one-handed controls ;)

I'd like for some people to help me. This can be done by directly contributing to the project, or just playing the game.
Anything helps. Ideally, I'd like programmers and writers. Anybody who contributes will get a spot in the credits (if desired). Play-testers who report bugs will also be credited.


Note for potentially-interested programmers: The game is written in Java.

Loving the ASCII art and the fact that it will be fully text-based, as far as I understand - really takes me back. Will definitely be keeping an eye on this one!

Reminds me of the first vore adventure style game I played. Was text based and I enjoyed it, this has a lot of excitement :) Good luck with it, I cannot program to save myself though XD

Just thought I'd answer some questions that I've been asked.

The reason why the game isn't posted as a link is because it is still in its very early stages. Consequently, I want to have a direct line to each and every person who is interested not only so I can understand what their issues may or may not be, but also so that they understand that this is an early access to something that's not finished yet.

As for future features, I want to make the experience as modular as possible, allowing the player freedom to choose what they want included. This includes alternative vore types, options for male characters, and more. We already see this modularity in the game with optional weight gain and furry modes.

To all the people who have contacted me, thank you very much for taking interest and providing feedback! :)

Just gonna go ahead and mark my potential interest as a programmer; currently working on a client project for a capstone class, so I won't be able to contribute anytime soon (ie, the next few months), but this looks interesting nonetheless.

How are you running the UI and ASCII? JavaFX, Canvas, or something else?

greggarkits, UI is being run in a JFrame and is literally the console output. It makes it much easier to troubleshoot crashes, especially from testers.
