I get what you mean and I agree I have judged people less about abnormal fetishes as well. but if given the chance I would maybe want too change my fetish because then I wouldn't have to hide my fetish.

I should preface this by pointing out that vore is a kink for me, but not a fetish (in the sense of being a requirement for gratification). So that affects my answer. As for the answer:
I mean... why would I? It's not hurting or affecting anything. It's not the only thing I can get off to, it doesn't ruin my relationships, and it doesn't consume (pun intended) an inordinate amount of my time or my thoughts. So getting rid of my interest in vore would be kind of pointless. Years ago I might have said yes because I was ashamed of liking something so weird, especially something that would be horrible in real life. But I've come to accept it and understand that liking something in fantasy doesn't always equate to liking or wanting something in real life, and that being into weird shit isn't actually a big deal. Turns out, a lot of people are into weird shit, 'cause humans are weird.
Also, you bring up a good point about being more empathetic toward others with unusual or extreme interests. I might not be as understanding if I didn't have one, myself.

Well having this fetish has never really effected my personal life in a negative way so I can't see why I would wanna change it. I enjoy it and it makes me happy,I only share it in person with people I truly trust and I am with someone who is into it too so its not keeping me from meeting someone or being able to be sexually active or anything like that.Maybe if I had some bad experiences in my life regarding this fetish I would wanna change it but as of now its been nothing but a positive experience for me.

It is no secret that vore is an unusual and somewhat obscure fetish (at least when compared to things like furries, feet, or BDSM which are relatively common) but I feel that there is JUST enough of it online to keep me satisfied.
It is true that if I was attracted to more traditional things then I might have an easier time finding pornography and perhaps even an actual partner (although considering my current lifestyle it would not really matter what fetish I have, very few people would want to date me anyways), but I could probably think of a few upsides to liking vore if I put my mind to it.

For one thing it introduced me to very talented artists like Karbo who I never would have known about otherwise, and since the community is so small I have actually been able to talk to the people in it and get a good feel for their personality.
As one more positive comment, I am actually on relatively good terms with someone in the community who I would have outright despised had it not been for out mutual appreciation of vore which we were able to argree on.

I actually think vore's just as popular as feet if not more but less people stumble into it because you don't just "look down and get turned on". It's definitely alot more present in media than feet are, and BDSM are a niche thing. I honestly think vore maybe be one of the main fetishes.

I think I would. I've never been in a situation where it's turned out for the worse so far, but I figure it's just a matter of time until I forget to close a private browsing session at an embarrassing time or a roommate has to go to our ISP about some issue and requests info about browsing history and I not only have to endure the normal embarrassment of getting caught viewing porn but also the embarrassment of having to explain myself on the weird fetish front. I really hate the idea of having to seriously explain vore to someone who didn't want to have to hear it to begin with. Not to mention that one day I'm probably going to have to fess up to a significant other about what I'm into, and that's bound to be an awkward situation to say the least. "Well honey, it's impossible in real life and while it might be accurate to say that it would be illegal if it was possible, it would be more accurate to say that society as a whole would be largely unrecognizable..." Or even worse, if I *don't* have to explain what vore is and the finderouter already has a preconception about the fetish. As a community, we don't exactly have the best PR. And vore jokes are more or less ruined for me because I can't make them in case I give myself away. I had a friend make one and I absolutely failed to play it off and it was quite uncomfortable.

I mean it's not completely without it's plus sides. There are advantages to writing vore fics compared to other genres. Themes and character development aren't usually necessary, for instance. If I ever got into a "having a weird fetish" contest, I the only things I can think of that could beat vore are weirder vore and that one wonderbread guy. And since vore has such a large number of "dependencies" I have like a billion sub-fetishes to draw from for wank material and a nearly encyclopedic knowledge of some very seedy parts of the internet. It's fun every now and again to stumble into a post while lurking on my main account and see someone asking about some fetish stuff and switch over to the good ol' alt account and dump some vore lore on them. My favorite so far was one where someone asked about "porn with deep philosophical implications" and I got to explain some vore tropes and the morbidly curious onlookers were duly fascinated.

So on the whole, while there's fun to be had in being a vorephile, it's at the expense of eventually having someone find out and inevitably having to put myself and the friend or loved one through explaining what vore is, why I'm into it, and we just both have to live with the fact that we had that conversation.

Also I tried to re-watch a childhood favorite TV show a while back and on top of the uncanny cgi and awkward writing, one of the characters kept calling the bad guys "the preds." I definitely would prefer not to associate those things with each other yet here we are.

Any fetish is an abnormality so no. Also, it could be worse like the handful that make people hurt themselves or others (like masochism for instance). At least vore clearly stays in the fantasy realm and I like it locked away there where it is.
