Favorite Pred profession
Hello everyone,
I am starting another short F/m vore story. However, in this tale our hero loses control of the situation, and is swallowed unawares by the woman he had been closely observing, a little too close it would seem. One of the character points I haven’t settled on is what her occupation going to be, as it affects what she does throughout the day and therefor the experience of the tiny passenger within. It might even change the time and place he takes the plunge as it were.
What are people’s favorite professions for their preds to have, Police, firefighter, nurse, secretary? Let me know…

I feel like it should be something where the pred moves around a fair bit, as well as talking to other people. Not just a boring desk job.

This might be silly, but if he's stuck in her belly as she goes about her day, wouldn't it be funny if her profession brings her across all sorts of sexy scenarios, and the guy is just frustrated because he can't see any of it? So maybe a professional athlete like a swimmer or volleyball player training for the Olympics. Then there's girls in swimsuits everywhere, plus the obligatory group shower scene, and he can't see any of it.

You might be on to something there, I will save this for later...

Re: Favorite Pred proffesion
Hmm the majority of my preds are escorts of various kinds, but are specifically aimed toward vore so i guess they don't count lol.
Hmm secretaries are fun, flight attendants, oooh an athlete might be interesting with all the movements they make. For nonfatal/storage type scenarios cops are probably my favorite. Or students, it would be a great way to cheat on tests, not that i approve of that.

For me, an active pred should have an active profession. For instance, The Lurker was a scientist who was converted to a human/insect hybrid by Alien technology. His daughter, Donnata, is an insectoid and a space-fighter pilot (think Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica, or Han Solo as a wasp-woman). Catfisher is an IT guy who uses dating sites to attract prey. The rest are D&D classes, wizard, thief, druid.
Maybe in a world where vore exists, women are so hyper-vigilant and paranoid they just notice strangers following them. Or maybe she has a profession where she notices tiny things.
Like an Entomologist.

Re: Favorite Pred proffesion
I love all sorts of them, so it's really hard to truely pick just one or two, but regardless of the profession, I highly prefer them to be smart about it, and if it's their first time, having plenty of practice or thoughts leading up to their first time, with the chance of making possible mistakes and getting caught/found out. I prefer worlds where vore is seen as it is in our world... and that's as an impossible feat when it comes to eating other people while only a few out of everyone are aware it's even a fetish for some. If they are caught, they risk losing friends, reputation, or even go as far as either going to prison or being slain themselves through vore or more normal means. It's way more enjoyable for me when it's not something she can just do out in the open and let people see without fear of any consequences. She can have some close calls of various sorts, but in the end she does manage to somehow get away with murder. Cause IF she gets caught, no way she tries to spin it will save her, she would get persecuted for murder. If cops somehow not involved, she least potentially loses friendships/relationships with other(s) that find out among other possible setbacks.
Teachers, babysitter/caretaker, nurse, nun, secretary/librarian, and almost any other job where it's one of authority, as for one I love that breach of trust when a predator takes advantage of their position. But I'm sure some more random low level jobs where she isn't in control of others or things would be interesting too.
Is the story eventually fatal for him, or does he make it out of her okay, whether or not she realizes she had a passenger?

Funny thing is my first thought was a secretary, but then stared thinking of maybe being a nurse.

He does make it out OK in 'The End', however, he will have some difficulty dealing with his situation afterwards.

Re: Favorite Pred profession
My characters tend to gravitate towards food service or positions of power. Food service gives an obvious route to a sustainable source of calories to keep up with a superhuman metabolism, and a steady source of annoying customers that might need dealing with. Retail also has some benefits in that later regard.
As for positions of power, anyone who's bloodthirsty enough to eat people on the regular would probably thrive in management or politics. Along those lines, academia could probably see a few preds trying to snipe papers off of each other (as well as undergrads), car dealerships could probably see a few 'valued customers' fail to qualify for loans and suddenly no longer be 'valued customers,' and a few lawyers could stack some juries by taking care of some unfavorable jurors on the quiet.

Theres a lot of characters I like that are journalists or investigative reporters like Karen Page or Lois Lane so I dunno if that is my fave job for a pred to have but it seems to be a common one in characters I fancy.

My favorite profession for Preds would be nurses at the moment.

I might be shooting the red cross here, but, as far as I'm concerned, being a hunter would be the best job for a predator

Re: Favorite Pred profession
The perfect profession for a predator in my eyes is to be a teacher. Obviously, teachers have a naturally dominant position as the authority figure in their classrooms, which they can lord over their students. In the world of fantasy, this can easily lead to vore situations, with the teacher maybe using the threat of being eaten either as punishment for the brash "bad kids", or, and this is even better in my eyes, as a reward for the "good kids" after somehow learning of their fetish.

Royalty/nobility. Power is very sexy, especially when it's used to gobble up some tasty servants.

Egyptian queens do this especially well for me. Cleopatra had style.
