Contemporary vore setting: What makes you digest someone?

So, let's say that we have a contemporary vore setting. Like a one-child policy or whatever, there are too many people and you're good to gurgle! (Just try not to be the one IN the stomach when it happens )

In my default setting: you get bigger breasts/boobs from digesting someone, and it feels really good. It makes you stronger (and possibly more attractive.) BUT, if you eat everone you know, you'll have a huge chest and people may not trust you very much! As a guy you might get bigger muscles or a HUGE ....*ahem.*

So my question is this: what would make you digest someone in a vore world? Now, whenever I ask people this question, they immediately start predicting what other people think, but that is not a good survey. What would make YOU digest someone? I imagine answering in this format:

Sex: Male Disposition: Switch What would make you digest someone: Well, I'm probably too nice to just be aggressive. BUT, if someone tried to eat me, a little primitive, reciprocal (and gurgly) justice might be appropriate. If someone was begging I couldn't, but if someone was excited in there or if they just quickly accepted their fate it would be tempting to use them as a nice protein bar and just keep them in there until the melt! How socially acceptable do you imagine vore is: Yummy!

This is kind of to be used for a game I'm writing: I already have some plot threads / puzzles that I really like, but this might help me create deeper characters! I'm curious to see what y'all think!

PS: Yes, you can totally use porn logic instead of real logic if you need to.

What would make you digest someone:
Hmm. For starters, I'm a fan of deserving vore and vigilante vore, so if they were especially unpleasant or criminally inclined, I'd be glad to take a bite out of crime, so to speak and give them some digestive justice Or if they tried to eat me first, I'd take satisfaction in turning the tables and letting them gurgle away inside me. Alternatively, if someone wanted badly to be swallowed, I'd probably be reluctant at first, but eventually give in and give them what they want.
How socially acceptable do you imagine vore is:
Completely normal and delicious! There's just something about the sheer casualness of eating a whole person alive that really speaks to me.

What Would Make You Digest Someone: Hunger. Boredom. Protein. Annoyance. Anger. Someone paid me enough. To get off. God, to be honest I'd probably be a damn monster. I wouldn't be indiscriminate, but sometimes someone innocent would just be in the wrong place at the wrong time when I'm too hungry or in a bad mood.
How Socially Acceptable?: Depends? I'd kinda dig being in the open about it so that anyone stupid enough to try and pick a fight has it coming to 'em, but I could see it still being something controversial, in the news. I think pizzaguy's got a good set-up going, been thinking about adapting part of the idea.

In modern settings, I actually have a hard time thinking of a justification for vore that's not totally dystopian. Which is why I tend to avoid modern settings, except for non-serious stories/RP. I do make an exception for willing vore, as an alternative end-of-life choice. That's the one way fatal vore really makes sense to me in a modern setting.

What would make you digest someone: Oh, lots of reasons, feeling hungry, feeling horny, want to get rid of someone, doesn't take much to make me want to digest someone away. Sometimes add a little extra padding to attract the next victim to the digestive tract. I could go on and on, but bottom line is, only good friends are safe >:) ... mostly.

What would make you digest someone: Self-defense or protecting another person, vigilante justice, I'd be strongly tempted to eat random innocent people but when it comes down to it I'm too nice.
How socially acceptable do you imagine vore is: Technically legal but still taboo--getting away with it is part of the thrill! Willing prey would be rare and probably expecting to be let out rather than digested (but often betrayed).
