Minimum vore requirement for comic

Postby GastricAztec » Fri Feb 19, 2021 2:41 am

If you were going to read a comic about a giantess or a woman interacting with shrunken people, what is the minimum amount of vore you would demand in order to buy the comic? What if vore wasn’t the main focus, but was there peripherally?

Honestly a mawshot, some mouthplay, or a pre-vore shot would be good enough for me.

That would depend on what the rest of the comic was

It critically depends on what the comic is about. I don't want to draw lines or something, but a "vore comic" should in fact be focalized on...vore.

I think is okay to have vore peripherally, if you intend to sell it maybe put some advise or something. If I buy a vore comic i usually expect it to be vore-centered.

What I’m talking about is a graphic novel, where there isn’t vore in every chapter, but it happens somewhat consistently. Maybe a woman acquires a shrink ray gun and shrinks and kidnaps men who she feels are evil, and swallows them. Vore would happen every two or three chapters, with the graphic novel consisting of about 12 chapters.

I consider vore smut, and I think that even people that aren't into it do despite thinking it's weird. So it depends on what you're writing. I'd break it up into three categories. Regular literature, erotica, and pornography. Regular literature should only have smut in it if it calls for it. Some themes and plots would work better or worse for this and it would need to have a reason for it every time it happens. Erotica allows for it more while still having plenty of story, and the smut is a motivation in itself (instead of needing a reason to happen, it's something the character wants). Pornography has light to no plot and it's just wall to wall juicy smut. You're fast forwarding 30 seconds ahead through the guy saying he's here to fix your pipes, then rewinding back from the lube filled pool butt smacking action because clearly you missed some key plot points.

At your rate, it sounds like light erotica. The plot is the important part, but sometimes there's smut. That's fine. If you're targeting people who want to get to the smut parts, just make sure they're worth the wait. And don't neglect the plot if it's taking up that much real estate. If it's just a vessel for smut then just make it wall to wall porn.

To be honest, I wouldn't necessarily need vore included in the comic so long as it's well-written in story
