This is the part I am hopelessly stuck on. I have tried going in every direction with no success.

I believe this is one of the few areas the OP forgot to put a change in tile color/etc. to show that there's a transition to the next map. Just keep pushing against the edge of the map tiles and you'll eventually get out. (Which to be honest, would make more sense in certain internal maps.)

Okay, I like the new enemy sprites but unfortunately, I am still stuck in the exact same spot I was last time (I have made absolutely no progress in this game) and it is driving me crazy.

I am at the top of the screen but cannot transition to the next part no matter what button I click. This is honestly a nightmare because I want to enjoy the rest of the game but I cannot because of this problem.

It cannot be a glitch because it everyone else seems to have been able to progress so what am I doing wrong?

I really, really want to play this game but unless I can find a way to progress, I'm never going to proceed any further.

ladyalexis31, you have to jump across the green rock to the other side. I think it is whatever your action button is (enter, z).

Like the poster below you said, you jump over the rock.

If you can't cross something, there's a good chance you'll likely be jumping over it.

I was surprised how story driven it is and how invested I got into it.
