Turn ons that you don’t understand/confuse you
Awhile back there was a thread about turnoffs you don’t understand I figured I might as well do the opposite
I’ll go first I guess, something that I don’t get is that I can get turned on from vore situations even if I don’t find any of the chracters attractive, Maybe it’s cause vore is such a big turn on for me? Also like on general I’m much more flexible with vore than I am outside of that? Like with the species/types of chracters and stuff? Idk it’s weird

Re: Turn ons that you don’t understand/confuse you
For me I absolutely LOVE squirmy and deformed guts when it comes to vore. Seeing just a perfectly round belly doesn't do it for me personally. When it's all squirmy and deformed it shows that the prey is really struggling and squirming and I don't know why I love it so much.
On top of that, I love mass vore, like in the dozens or even hundreds of prey, all same size of course. There is just something about a gluttonous pred with insatiable hunger that just turns me on so, so much.
Finally, post vore weight gain. As a rule i don't like seeing just normal overweight characters, but for some reason if I know it's because they have just finished digestion it changes my view on it. A nice fat pred (as you could probably guess by my name lol) is just so incredibly hot to me.

One of my turnons that doesn't make sense to me is the combination of romantic, fatal vore. Fatal vore makes sense, and romantic safe vore makes sense, but romantic fatal vore is wacky.
Shhhh!!! Don't say "The emperor has no clothes." it might offend someone.

Maybe a cop-out response, but, all of this, really. I've never been able to figure out why I like shrinking, why I like micro/macro, why I like vore. And at this point I've kinda given up trying to figure it all out and I'm just along for the ride.

All of it. Or none of it. It's kind of the same.
It may be possible and interesting to delve into various fetishes from a psychology or evolutionary biology perspective. At one point I did.
But in the end it makes no difference. Just as long as you approach your fetishes sensibly.

Milfs. And i literally mean very motherly type characters. With big boobs, fat hips and a nurturing, supportive attitude. I don't even like boobs. But something about a character that will love you unconditionally...is kinda hot? I'm just very lonely, i guess.

Re: Turn ons that you don’t understand/confuse you
I'm sure I can come up with more specific things for this, but for me... at times, it's vore as a whole itself believe it or not. There are random times I'll think bout it, regardless of prey type, scenario as a whole, etc, and think why/how am I into this...
Especially in regards to preds like stated above, when you have a motherly sort who should/would normally support you and all that... yet find it attractive when shes the one committing the horrific act and thinking it makes it any better when she tries to be all soothing and such while her victim is gastricly slain within.
Might comment again if can think of other good examples and how I want to word it.

Re: Turn ons that you don’t understand/confuse you
I can tolerate disposal, and I'm not sure why. I'm extremely averse to other bathroom-related fetishes like WS, farting, and non-vore scat, and I'm even pretty averse to bathroom humor as well. However, if a picture or story features the pred shitting out the remains of their prey, it's not a particular turn off for me. I guess I like the element of finality it adds enough to override the content itself?
And also I have no idea why I like vore in general. I've been into it for as long as I can remember, so I don't think there's any particular event that started it, it's just something I happen to be into.
Hey, humans are the no-contest champions of the food chain IRL. What makes for a better predator than that?
As someone who is into that, I think it makes sense. Romance is about commitment, and fatal vore is kind of the furthest you can go in terms of commitment.

Hearts, or their equivalents.
It's part of why endo appeals to me so much, since if you're prey, you can get up close and personal with it.
Not entirely sure why, but if I was to guess, it's something to do with either being trusted with the pred's life, or the inherent intimacy of being able to get close to it. Maybe souls too, but the "ghost self" version doesn't tend to do it for me, unless there's some form of palpable core involved.
Even if a pred doesn't have one, like if they're a robot or something, an equivalent would also work, with additional points if it's pulsatile like a heart. It's also part of why Transformers appeals to me a bit, because they have sparks, which are both a heart and soul in a spherical package, although my preferences otherwise lean towards something fleshy.
Weirdly enough, soul/life stuff might be also where I'm happy to switch to more of a pred role, although I don't quite get why. Something to do with having the prey's life in my hands that appeals to me, when I'd otherwise prefer more of a prey role.
What also confuses me even more about the whole thing is that other than "living/unliving" being a requirement, is that it's otherwise species-agnostic, as long as it passes the Harkness test. Dragon, robot, alien, etc, I'm pretty much fine with all of them, as opposed to keeping to something more human, like you'd expect.

Re: Turn ons that you don’t understand/confuse you
I have one particular turn on that's not confusing to me by itself, but the conditions are just a little odd for what it is. The idea of being degraded and treated like food, super common in the vore community. And I dig it. But for some reason, it feels the best when it's consensual? Like, getting eaten by your partner after discussing that you WANT to be treated like nothing more than a meal, and get talked down to the entire time. Its alright by itself, but its so weird to me that it just feels a lot hotter when it's consensual, and with someone who cares about you.

I'm a fan of these. The knowledge that degradation is consensual does not necessarily make it hotter, but it makes the dynamic a lot sweeter, more caring and intimate - which are all good for sexytimes. Perhaps there's something arousing about the contrast, too.

Bulges were you can see almost each outline of the prey... I never understood the appeal of these, as they (especially in macro/micro) server no purpose. The skin of the belly, throat would for example not show the eyes, as if its on tension it would be flat that that point.
Also throat bulges should not show them as there is the Air-Pipe at the front. But maybe its just me not understanding it^^

Consent's attractive, to be fair.

I met a lad whos main turn on was slipping, no I kid you not! his kink was slippin!
Like... it might be the embarrasment or pain that is the turn on? or the mere act of slipping?

It sounds like you have a specific type of attraction to nurturing and supportive maternal figures, which is completely valid. It's interesting how different traits can be appealing to different people, even if they don't necessarily align with their usual preferences. It's important to embrace and explore what resonates with you, as long as it's consensual and respectful. Everyone has their own unique desires and turn-ons, and it's all part of what makes us human.

I feel the same way. It definitely seems to help when the characters, especially prey, are attractive, which makes sense since I'm not one of the vore-exclusive types (normal sexytimes also turn me on). It doesn't seem to be necessary, though, as I remember getting a boner looking at an illustration of a macrophage in a children's biology book when I was 8 or so, and even now, some entirely nonhuman ideas seem to cause some arousal (and I'm not otherwise into bestiality or anything like that).
Personally, I had no idea people could be into the prey side of things until I started visiting vore communities online. The idea still seems just as foreign to me as e.g. foot fetish. Especially at first, I wondered how these two seemingly (to me) separate fetishes ended up being grouped together under a common term. I seem to be in the minority, as from what I can tell, prey-enthusiasm or some type of switch behaviour is more common that purely pred. To be clear, I don't intend any offense to anyone; I'm very much of the "live and let live" opinion when it comes to sexual desire in general.
