Basically, stat upgrade souls.
The souls of prey (and bad guys/enemies) are visible to our main characters. What if some of them are Gut-sluts, or if they want to help your party in some way, so they ask to be absorbed permanently. Like Lillith's Dad?
They would give small stat upgrades. Like +hp/atk/ect.
There are all sorts of fun stuff you could do with that concept. Like have somebody challenge you to a duel, winner gets the loser as a permanent upgrade. Enemies that are particularly bad that you decide to keep locked up for a time within yourself. Stuff like that.

Do you mean Sai and having some accidental CV with the M'row? Well, I made it so that turns spent voring an oponent is limited so that it doesn't completely break the game and its encounters (although some future enemies are gonna be a bit nasty with that).
Sai will also get the ability to CV manually next chapter!leonthegreat wrote:I'm really enjoying the game! I did have an idea for something that I would think is interesting.

Believe me, I've thought about that! Along with the fact of having some vore sprites that occur when defeating opponents in battle through vore, eventually resulting in weight gain after a while! And yeah, I was planning on adding total gut sluts you could encounter (in fact some in the main town are gut sluts that will help if you attend to them...that'll come to light next update though!) Sadly, I'm a bit inexperienced with implementing an interesting system, to the point where I'm worried it could break saves with an overhaul like that. Plus, could make the game a bit grindy, but I'm aware some prefer that. ><;
Always a fan of mixing fun gameplay with fun stories and I do like your idea a lot!

If you are worried about breaking saves with new systems I would suggest just going for it right now. The game is early in development so it wouldn't be much to replay the whole game, especially if you already know the story and can just skip it. I'm sure most people wouldn't mind having to restart if its for big features like.

That's a fair point. I might go for it, but that would increase dev time by an incredible amount that im a little too worried about (and if I do, I'm going to blame you for such good ideas. I'd much rather make a whole new game, this one's more focused on just having fun with a mostly goofy story, especially since its my first time! XD)
So, yeah, maybe after the next part is done, I'll think/try about adding features like that.

@leonthegreat wrote:I think introducing the main chapters first and then the side stuff later is a great idea. That's what CarniverousVixen does for their games. You could even add something like a "letter" system to tell players what is new. Basically you would set up a flag system to where if you reach certain story points it will "unlock" the side-quests. CarniverousVixen does this with letter-boxes in some of her games. Her character literally gets a letter from an npc telling them that some problem needs to be fixed or some other character wants to meet them.
Either way, happy 8/8 and I hope you have fun developing the game! I enjoy this game alot and hope it gets much more content.
