Considering in the Vore community we seen cum digestion, breat absorption. Blood acting as a digestive is not that weird. We Vore community are freaks.

I can't believe I honestly did not even consider menstruation as a thing in my unbirth stories, especially long-term insertions.

This is actually a pretty interesting concept I have interest in. I typically like some reason for vore and a grumpy/moody girl on her period is great for several kinds of vore. Be it same size, size difference, unbirth, or other vore. There can also be more filthy scenarios like blood disposal and related sections for which I will spare details.
For the example of prey as a living tampon, the prey body contains many orifices that can take in the blood but with fiction we are not limited to the "how" of it, so there are many possibilities.
I've been thinking of writing something like this as I get more into gore, blood, and hardvore. But I'm afraid I don't know enough in the field of menstruation (like emotions, pain, and sensations). Does anyone know of any art or stories that have themes or focus of menstruation in unbirth, insertion or general vore? (Especially female characters from female artist perspective!) I'd appreciate any direction or links and would love to discuss this topic further!
