@quicks wrote:Hello and welcome to a new segment I'd like to call "the plopping room floor." This is where I will share director's cuts as a little bonus.
Due to the change in art, I have about 80 finished slides I am redoing (and literally hundreds if not thousands of images in the old style but we don't talk about that). I'm not going to share all of them because I want you to find these scenes in game, but here's a freebie. I think I'll also occasionally share small poses and whatnot not appearing in game of things upcoming.
This character was one of the major reasons I decided to redo the art style for the girls to appear older. She'll be around through much of the journey and I don't want her coming across too young.
Spoiler'ed the images here, peek or find them in game- but this is the old art I'm cutting.Spoiler: show

@quicks wrote:We can make scat optional during the next update.
Question for those who want it to be optional, how do you want that to play out? Would you rather it be there but censored or just not be present in the image? Any other ideas?
I'm open to input but need one way to adjust based on what those who want a no scat option to be- so comment if you have input there! Do you want the sounds still? Or do you want something like a sudden flat belly? I'm not sure how that goes on the programming side as far as optional dialog but I'll look into it too once we talk preferences.

@quicks wrote:One thing I am not super interested in is a fully seperate end sequence. That would be content and dialogue and whatnot, it makes it twice the work and then people miss out on the content one way or another.
I am looking for a way to kind of censor or alter images that make them a little more palatable for those who dont like scat. I think I need to either write and set up visuals to allow a "cut to black" and a "happy pred walking away" type thing or replace scat with something.
Bones is a great option. I could just replace scat with bones or a bone pile.
Id like some more feedback on options if I can before I start putting work into it. I was hoping for opinions before I put up a poll- but if I don't get more responses I'll go that route. Thanks!

Personally I don't enjoy the idea of any scat, bone or otherwise. Just removing it and having it focus on the post affects of the digestion and absorption is the best thing in my books. Like the preds commenting how much bigger they got as they inspect their curves and what not.
I'd say the best way to handle this would probably be the fade to black route for people who don't like scat. It makes it so people who don't like scat don't have to see it without potentially turning them off from the game because they don't like any form of disposal.
quicks wrote:Unless bones are a pretty universal solution I don’t think we’re going that route. I’m leaning towards a “fade to black during digestion right into game over and/or aftermath.

@quicks wrote:Here, have a few skeleton tests.
If I go this route the bone disposal will have 1 image per pred and the bones themselves might be pretty inconsistent.
That said, what do people think here?
If you dont want scat, speak up! Nows your chance to help brainstorm and find an alternative!
