(PAID) Female Voice Actress Needed – Short Promotional Recording (~50 Words)
Snakethroat Books is looking for a female voice actress for a very short piece of promotional material based on one of our upcoming stories. The finished recording will be approximately 50 words.
The character is Lucy, an adult woman with a confident, teasing personality. The premise is that she's sending a roleplaying partner updates on the progress of her current meal.
Vocal direction:
We’re looking for a natural adult voice, ideally somewhere in the mid-to-lower range. Lucy should sound intimate and self-assured. There should be a slight teasing quality to almost everything she says. She can become threatening, but she should never sound like a stereotypical villain. The unsettling part is that she remains cheerful and personable, even when she talks about digestion.
Naturalistic delivery is strongly preferred over an anime/cartoon-style performance.
Snakethroat Books publishes adult illustrated fiction, so applicants must be 18+ and comfortable working with mature themes.
This is a paid commission. Please send your rates along with a demo reel or a few samples of previous voice work to our email: [email protected]. Feel free to DM me with any questions.
