It's changed over the years, but these days it's the "annihilation" aspect. The idea that what was once a person with a life, feelings, goals, and ideas, is just straight-up gone, never to return.

Sounds terrible, I know, but fantasy is fantasy, and that enjoyment doesn't transfer to reality. :3

Best part about Vore? the feeling of helplessness the prey feels.. Completely and utterly unable to control there own fate being at the mercy of someone far more physically, or mentally (or both), capable then they are and being unable to do anything to stop the coming end.

I agree with Humbug but on a different aspect.
I enjoy pretty girls, sexy girls, cute girls being reduced to someone else's sexiness.
what was once a jiggling sex bomb turning someone else into the same. Replacing one with the other and no one knows how it happened.

I also enjoy Predators walking among the friends of the Prey who wonder where their friend went as predator jiggles past.
Its all fun. :3

It's soooo hard to choose! But damnit, off the top of my head, one of the best things is that knowing that the preys entire life, hopes, dreams, loves...all that amounted to little more than an inch or two of pudge on a predator~

I'd say, in a weird sort of way, that it's the intimacy between both parties. Regardless of intent or how willing either is, there's still a very personal level of attention. In my opinion anywho.

I think my favorite thing is this sensation that someone or something in your vicinity sees you both as a person and as a source of nutrition. I love the idea that both are somehow not exclusive. I can't get to the heart of it but the predator treating the prey distinctly as food when they have no reason to, that is my favorite theme for vore in general. A big part of it is also objectification, specifically sexually. Being looked at as attractive to the point that the predator literally wants to eat me? That is riveting.
