Notes or Discord

Posted by cownugget 6 years ago

Many have asked which of notes or Discord is a better way to reach me.

Either or both are fine. Just understand that I cannot always respond right away. Yes, I am fine to chat about anything, but I am not very entertaining. I do not RP (just not into it), and I am not an avid gamer.

Also, people worry that they "bug me" on discord. Please do not tell me this, because then I worry that I give off the wrong impression. I view any messaging program like a sort of "at your convenience" thing, like e-mail, so you never have to worry about bugging me.

Some worry that I will get upset if they bug me about their commissions on Discord. I will not get upset. That is sort of why I made the info public in the first place. If you want to contact me about a commission I owe you, or you want to demand free compensation art for waiting in any way, or if you are experiencin ANY other discomfort, Discord is a great place to do it.

Again, GuNMouTH#1711 is my contact there.

Gonna try finishing work as fast as I can.

I'd say keep it to notes.
To be honest, people here tend to be pushy, and not very good listeners.

I once used to have info like discord name, steam name and such avalible on this site which was one of my biggest mistakes, as I got bombarded by creeps and people seeking roleplay even though I said I don't do that.
Keeping it to notes has a tendency to kill off chances of chitt-chat starting, if you used discord so people had a direct chat open with you its much more likely they'd attempt to chitt-chat with you. Notes is just better to keep things on a work basis, discord should be reserved for friends of yours.

I wouldn't say bold texting is the way to deal with people who have a hard time reading; it doesn't come off the way you seem to want to present yourself either. I think when you're this talented and this open with contact info it's practically a given you're gunna have a hard time with it
