My Gut is on FIRE.

Where have I been? What happened to the art streams? Welp, I did my best to work diligently on organizing RP logs so that Cryptid and I can get more drawings for that out. I did a simple size chart sketch of several major characters, so I'll get that up when I can.

But mostly I've been trying to keep it together. *Deep breath* Mom was in the hospital for stroke symptoms, but what happened was... the cancer has moved to her brain. She went from completely cancer free for almost a year to... this. We are all still in shock. And on top of that, my best friend who I've known since elementary school and is practically family.. we're close to losing her, too, and I don't know what I'm gonna do if I lose more family so soon.

So, we attempted to cheer ourselves up. We decided to throw an awesome party with a Lunar New Year theme. And it's my year, the Year of the Dog! We gave out red packets filled with lucky dynasty coins and some with $2 bills inside and we had noodles, fortune cookies, silly games, prizes, karaoke. It was a really fun time! I got a pretty chopstick set. The big prize was a three foot painted folding fan for the wall, absolutely huge. But the funniest thing were the goldmine bricks. The prize winners were off in a corner smacking at sandy rocks with little plastic tools all going "tink tink tink tink tink..." to desperately get at random semi-precious stones inside. We have the strangest, geekiest parties every few years or so, but friends continue to rave about them years later, so we enjoy it!

THEN, a couple days later after the party was over, I was whisked off to the ER for the worst fucking pain I've ever had in my life! Severe muscle spasms in upper torso that would not stop until I was given morphine. Apparently it was gallstone attacks, which is on the same level as labor pains, but unlike labor pains, it's constant and doesn't let up. Got a consultation for surgery, but for right now, I'm on a very difficult diet and gut relaxant meds and very weak from low calories. I'm a predator dammit! Gimme red meat! I must hunt, catch, consume, and digest the living, writhing flesh of the helpless, squealing preeeey!!~~ Okay, not really, but I do have some silly drawing ideas now.
