Hey, guys. I have good news! TL;DR I negotiated new terms with my hosting company and the website's good for another year.
Basically what happened is that they charged me for a two-year renewal 15 days before the billing cycle was due. The problem was that I couldn't afford to pay what they were asking. I did have some money socked away in Patreon, but it wasn't nearly enough. I contacted HostGator a few days ago and talked to a rep there. She got me a discount and we changed the site to a yearly billing cycle—which the Patreon money almost completely covered. They charged me for the new annual cycle and refunded me what they'd already charged for two years. I wanted to wait on any announcements until I saw the money back in my account—which it now is. So it looks like we're going to keep the site for at least another year!
Thank you to my patrons on Patreon. There's only a few of you, but you saved my website and kept the content alive for hundreds of other readers. ...I mean, technically, I'd still have my free websites, but the official site is way more convenient for everyone involved.

I know this is may be a bold thing to request since I haven't created in months, but my Patreon is set up to only bill when I actually release a Brod story for this exact reason—you don't pay a dime unless I write a Brod.
