Hmmm...

Posted by sweetladyamy 4 years ago

I just ran into a caveat.

One that will essentially force me to stop my current short story series, if I allow it of course.

So, apparently, real-life based settings with real people, are not allowed here, no matter the context.

Heh. So, now that I know this, that really limits my creative abilities here because...

THAT IS 95% OF MY CREATIVE MEDIUM!!!!

I delicately integrate real-life people into pretty much any story I've ever written. I did this with a lot of my Final Fantasy fan-fiction, if not almost all of it.

Example: In a series I wrote, Terra Branford along with Celes Cheré, Locke Cole and Relm Arrowny all end up trapped in a future, and meet someone that eventually becomes a centerpoint person to them, and Terra becomes his spouse, integrating his likes and such with her own, including skateboarding, where 'the Birdman' Tony Hawk comes in on a tour and teaches her how to skate, with one on one lessons. She also learns how to play classical guitar from Saul Hudson, aka 'Slash', of Guns 'N' Roses. This integration is done in a way that makes it look like it was natural. I'm that good.

Apparently, too good. Well, that's fine. Your loss, people.

Enjoy the first four chapters of Alexis, because that's it. I'll likely finish the series, but I won't upload them here because...
1) Editing my uploads is not something easily done.
2) Making two different versions for that reason just doesn't work for me. I already had separated one thing some might not like into its' own little subchapter that can be skipped, and that was difficult enough on its' own.

Just FTR, I read the rules, but once it gets to a point where reading them takes more than a few seconds, retention performance drops to < 1%, and that is the case for 99% of people, and it is even worse for those of us that have any issues with cognition.

Again archived.

Is this explicitly overruled elsewhere?

I'm terrible at reading longer documents on a computer; but I find that putting them on a stand-alone reading device (e.g. Kindle, Nook), and setting a large font size (to keep "pages" small), helps. (Or I guess you could print them out; but that could cost more, and you'd have to carry the paper around.)

Apparently, when it comes to mentions of real life people, vore-related or not, it's not allowed.

However, since that is censorship and I do not allow it in my writing, I've chosen to disregard it because my current short story series is in a slightly modified real world setting (main difference is that it takes place shortly after Yellowstone erupted), and having references to real world people is going to happen (none of them are involved in any vore settings), so tough tits to censors.

I mainly talked about how Yellowstone's eruption had done some damage to the music industry, using real world artists by name (group names and individual people within the groups), and though Alexis did infer an interest in devouring a fetish model, I don't intend on having said fetish model actually make an appearance in the story (I thought about it for a second but decided against it).

Anyway, yeah. No censorship allowed, not on my creative work. I'll eventually release chapter 05.
