Question about Stories

Posted by Chameleonette 3 years ago

I want to ask something of the folks who have read any of my stories for some insight, if you could spare me your time.

Is there a particular story of mine that really stood out to you as being engrossing/engaging or that you especially enjoyed? And if so, please tell me why, be it if it had to do with story, characters, pred/prey interactions, type of vore, prey or pred POV preferred, etc. It would be a BIG help for me.

I've got a LOT of unfinished stories and I'm trying to figure out which ones I should possibly prioritize and work on, at least the ones for potential public posting. And this would help me determine that, rather than letting all these half-finished stories die of indecision and lack of motivation. So if you could spare me a bit of your time to help me out and let me know what you personally enjoy/enjoyed in my written work, it would be a great help. You can be as vague/simplistic or as detailed as you like. All input would be more than welcome.

Thanks for your time!

Fulfillment because of the interactions between the characters and the longer than normal after-vore scene.

I appreciate the input, thank you~

Though I should say upfront with this one that it was not something I usually write, so I don't have anything like it in the works. But noted on the after-vore scene (granted, I tend to extend those regardless of the story, most of the time).

there are a few, I do like your RP Cutting it to Close. the build up to the vore is a lot of fun. It's all about the build up and satisfaction of the guy tucking away the girl in his gut

Yeah, that was a fun RP. I tend to like build-up in most of my works.

Thanks for the input~

hope some day I can do a RP with you. I have a Male Pred but he needs a prey

I really like your RPs because they are long and have both pred and prey pov. I also really like digestion My 2 fav RPs of your are "The Greatest magic" and "Cutting it too Close" I also like "Hoarded" because it has some interaction between them when she is in his stomach. Another Story I like is "Big Mouth" but Im not sure why but I think it is sorta the inevitability in that story. I vote for "Miraculous Mega Monster Men" to get a part 2 if I am allowed to vote. I could probably think of more things to say later, but this is all I could think of right now.

Friends With a Weird Secret is one of my favorite vore stories of all time because of the character interactions. I'm also a huge sucker for teasing and since the characters weren't canon characters I could follow it a lot better. The concept was also amazing, and I'm a huge sucker for vote stories that might not even have actual vore in it. Characters talking about weird kinks is A+.

Also for some reason OC stories just hit differently for me.

Oh, wow. I didn't expect anyone to mention that one here, since I never posted it here. Hahaha.

That's fair, though. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I don't have anything like it in the works, though.

Thanks for the input, nonetheless!

Oh hey I liked that one as well! The sexual tension was great.

I love Miracolous Mega Monster Men, and would really like to see a continuation to it^^
As for vore, I think mass vore could be fun when you got such a Jurassic Park theme. That and perhaps accidental/wrong person vore.

Thanks! And thanks for the input. I do plan to continue it, but... it won't be anything like your surmised, I'm afraid. I personally don't like mass vore at all.

Fufillment because of the way the prey character is quite depressive and lonely and the pred characters hunger is entwined very seamlessly with attraction and romance. It also has a lot of build up and the digestion is interesting in that it's both hot and scary/melancholic all in one.

A Night To Remember because it's long and the pred takes the time to enjoy his bride. The newlywed element also hits the romance element for me very strongly also the fact he implies he's helping her digest and he very blatantly gets off multiple times.

The Greatest Magic I like the theme of miscommunication the idea that the pred clearly loves the prey but it's an alien love that the prey can't fathom.

Merging Worlds I like the fact that the predator is basically the very definition of Fair Folk and that his obsession with the protagonist really illustrates why Eldritch is derived from Elf. His love for her is again very alien and reads almost like mania.

Thank you kindly for the in-depth feedback! I'm grateful for it and the insight on what you enjoyed about each of those. Dark romance is pretty much one of my favorite things to write/RP, so generally that shows up a lot in my works (and in many of my currently unfinished ones).
