Holy shit.
So I noticed yesterday that a search term I use frequently in pronoun was barely returning anyt results. I ignored it, but today when I went on I noticed my recommended videos barely had any I recognised, so I went to my liked.
Down from two hundred favourite to five, and not a single liked video in sight. With their new 'all uploaders must be verified', they have wiped out like 90% of vore content on pornhub, and presumably lots of other fetishes too.
I believe the videos are simple suspended until the uploaded can be verified, but how many reuploads and rare videos that simply weren't anywhere else could be found there? How much will probably never surface again?
Fucking hell pornhub, at least give us some warning next time... There goes so many good videos, a lot of which were uploaded by the animators themselves, but I guess that's not 'verified' enough for pornhub.

Yeah, I know how you feel. Just this month I had reason to get onto Pornhub for some sexy audios I liked that were removed from YouTube, even made an account so I could download them, and then this happened.
I hope you're right about that, there suspending rather than removing permanently...

The news article that alerted me to the change doesn't say anything on what exactly the removal of videos is or isn't, so no ideas on what this will end up as.

I guess in leu of the whole "underage abuse porn" that people were putting on there (and the how the site got grilled from the press), Pornhub just decided to play God and flood out the entirety of the site, save the verified accounts on the ark.
I've seen a couple animators try to appeal the ban, and it seems that the Canadians are trying to work along with them, so maybe things will go back to the way they were in a few months.

censorship will never work. when people realise that. I think then, people will find common ground. my view on censorship more generally
