going backwards (?) (╯_╰)

Posted by Pangeaz 1 year ago

Hey guys! lately I've been feeling that I'm not moving forward with my art, like i'm going backwards o(╥﹏╥)o. I guess some of you have noticed I've been trying different art styles since I'm not satisfied enough with it I was in a artblock during a time where I dind't like anything what I made. But from now on I'd like to change that, to improve to deliver a better art.

I'm open to recive any criticism and/or suggestion, let me know what's you favorite piece from my gallery, what you like less and why? From now on I'll be working harder not to let you down (●´ω`●) I want still growing in this website, I really apreciate all the support and people who commissioned me, thanks for trusting me~ \(*^▽^*)/

Making commissions is the way I'm earning money now while I'm studying, I want to reach more people, I've been thinking seriously to make a mini vore comic What do you think? have you any ideas for it?

If you got here, thanks for reading~~~~

PD: We're pretty close to get 500 watchers, I'll do a giveaway for my watchers, keep an eye on it e.e.

Well, I like all your stuff <3

I still really like the comm you did for me and I always really like your colouring, it has such great character to it. I think you're doing great and want to see even more! Sorry if that's not helpful but I think being told you're doing something right is also helpful advice.

Thank you, you're one of my greatest supporter, I'm pretty glad you like my art. I guess coloring is one of my strengths, people really like it, I'm still working on it.

For as long as I have watched your art, you have always struck me as a great artist, one who is well worth the price they offer, and at the risk of some chaffing, perhaps even more so if you prioritze quality over quanity and willing to increase prices, though I wouldnt do this without talking to others first. As for how you can improve I can only speak from what I prefer, and know little of what you seek to gain as an artist. Speaking purely in the context of vore art then, I would totally be down to see a mini comic, as it would probably be especially helpful to find out ways to improve that are difficult to explain through words alone. To this end, I would like to see more onomatopiea- sounds such as stomach digestion and swallowing, but beyond this, maybe some shading and background practice. Try looking for more dynamic poses, espeically from the back, as we don't usually think to draw people from anywhere beyond the front, especially for vore. So finding other poses that appeal well that arent more of the same would be nice to see. Your empashish on colors is a nice trait as well. As fir ideas on the comic speficially, I can give my own thoughts, but I hope you can come up with your own original ideas as well. Creating your own characters would be nice, but for the secenario, anything would be nice to see. As a matter of preferance however, somthing entertaining would be cool, along the lines of wholesome hentai, but I do not wish to push thoughts into what is rightfully yours to decide. On the other hand, making such a comic, even a small one, would be fullfilling a rare niche that can help gain attention to your account. If your are interested, I can certainly speak further.

Thanks for taking the time to write a large message, I really apreciatte, it flatters me you think that way of my art, I have a bad time creating backgrounds I guess I Just plan the character without taking into account where it's located but until the end. YESS defitnetly I should try more dynamic poses, mainly to have more anatomy knowledge. I'd like to earn money with other ways in addition to commissions, like having adopts due to I'm more into desing character than making a full scnene or YHC, but I think I need polish my drawings and reach more watchers to post more of those dyamics. sometimes I want to try more realistic style, you know with a better approach to the real human antomy but why people follow me cureently is for my cute-anime style, which is good sincce it's easier for me drawing it, I'm in my search and experiment a bunch of new things. regarding to the comic, of course I want some of my own but since I was thinking selling it (In a low price like 5-7usd, not sure yet) I wanted to know the most popular niche, and please, don't be afraid to continue, I'm willing to read what you have to say, it's intersting and very hepful.

Ah, then we are in bussiness! In reguards to drawing style, may I suggest trying to draw from live models, in this I mean trying to find real life referances to draw in the context of vore. In my experiance, there are certain porn actresses that have ideal dimensions that can applicaple to improving vore art. Mind you, I would not recomend atually posting these drawings, more so that I would imagin it being perchived as something akin to copyright theft. All this is in the purpose to try to improve vore art, so wether or not you want to show the result of the sketches, I would recomend at least giving credit as to who you used as the drawing model. I can most certain recomend a few actresses that are ideal, in addiction to other sorces of inspiration to take note for specific aspects to vore, like how a person may look inside a cramped space. As this assuming it has astheic appeal to the veiwer of course, keep this in mind. Drawing from real life models and cultivating a realistic style is somthing I would absolutely recomend from an artistic prespective, as you can always develope a less conventional style that you can call your own, but for now, try to learn as much as you can about all aspects of art- in the pursuit to create somthing that has immense appeal to the audiance, and perhaps more importantly, yourself.
In reguards to comics, I can speak little personally, only from what I have observed in other's experiances. Overall, I would suggest taking a primary source of income from commissions rather then comics, unless the client specifically wants a comic, then depending on your mental endurance, you can. For comics, focus on the quality over quanity, or rather, do as much that is reasonably possible in both effort and price, for if the end product is too expensive and not satifactory to the clients demands, there will be less intrest, and if you put too much work in many commissions, you'll simply burn yourself out. Try to reach an equaliblibrium where both the client is happy, and your mental well being is secured. To this end, may I point to how Lewdlemage accomlishes their commisions, if possible I would inquire to them directly, if not, see what can be learned. I hope that this does not offend you- being compared to others, I merely hope that I point you to those from which you can study their ways to aid your own.
Finally for comics specifficaly, two things must be understood. User just-a-little-vore has been victim to uncountable amounts of piracy of their comics even while the price is more then affordable, there are those who would have cause to not want to buy anything at all. I can think of many, everyone is struggling to pay rent, some do not wish to be traced to a akward payment, and others not understood, perhaps even malacious, but the result is the same. Even if you do achieve to provide effective security from piracy, do not think that they have forgotten. I regret to recall several instinces where negative consequences have occured simply as a result of the price of comics. Mind you, none of this is with the intention of justifying piracy, understand that there may be more profitable means to achieve the same end without incuring the wrath of those who would do you harm, let your protection come in the form of those who respect you, and those who will defend you. Piracy is a fact of life, nothing I can say can help change that, but there is power to be found in being tolerant to this fact. It is difficult to explain, just know that sometimes buissness can be dirty matter at times, but then again, take all that I say as a supplement to your own decisions.
This is a rather long post but there is one last matter to discuss.

For the nature of the comics, while I suggested creating comics for free and rely on the good faith of patrons, that does not mean that you cannot create and sell comics without being publicly released, but for those comics, may I suggest they either somthing that is worthy for the price, or too inconsuequencal as a story to be concerened for anyone but the more sexually motivated- in this I mean comics that place a heavier empasihs on sexual content rather than a story.
As for the comics themseleves, I can throw my own suggestions, but if so inclinded, I recomend reading hentai that have interesting stories to take note of, so that you can decide on what to create.
As for myself, I have some ideas, but wether or not I will be able to make my own stories is somthing to be seen. Focus then, on what you like. I had put myself on a goal to create a story on a specific aspect to vore, such as same size, giantess, slime, lamia, ect. Overall, I had decided to put myself to create 16 large stories, not including smaller short stories. But this is inconsuequental, for yourself, I can only suggest on making vore that is not normally seen. Certain taur characters are rare to come by, and much enjoyed. It is also rare to see stories that are not simply fan art of another large series, so I would strongly recomend trying to create your own work if it is a matter of creating a enjoyable story, not that it can't work for fan fiction as well, but it is better stand in your own shoes. As for recomendations, you could most certainly create the typical assortment of chracters, taurs, lamias, but as a creative perspective, they are lacking, and so I encourage you to try to experiment on making your own creations. This is a larger subject then I had realised, and going on for far too long, and to keep it sort, perhaps it is best to create a test comic, something simple in premise, effective in execution. To simply understand what you want, create a comic of simply a girl eating prey and typical body expansion. For referance, look to Shadowfaps comics. In truth, there is much I can say, but it is better to act and learn first hand rather speculation. If there is somthing more you want to talk about hit me up with a private message.

I think you do very great jog on lighting and coloring, but there's something about the lineart that seems a bit jittery.

I feel that lineart could be smoother when looking through your drawings.
Maybe it is a tool issue. What do you use to draw with?

YEP, you noticed it! you're right, even if you look at different drawing some of them have a thick lineart others thinner. I was experiencing, but I'm still not being totally satisfied cause I like both, I'm working on it, no worries~ I use
Huion Inspiroy H640P i think it's a good for its price, not sure it's something about my settings, anyways I think my last piece "gone & forgotten" the line is pretty clean and steady. what do you think?
