Curious of a recent trend of pictures about Arbok coiling a girl.

I lurk a bit on Pixiv to look at some pictures and to see what artist I like on that site have posted recently.
Curiously on there I have seen a trend of pictures of the snake Pokemon Arbok coiling a character from Kantai Collection named Tokitsukaze. There is even now a search tag on Pixiv for it.
Does anyone know how or why it started. Is it just some meme theme sprang up?
I did look up Tokitsukaze's Japanese VA to see if there was connection there maybe. Saki Fujita has extensive list of voice casting roles in multiple anime and games and is even the "voice" of Hatsune Miku.
She did have a role in the Pokemon Black and White series of the anime in which she voiced the character "Verbena", but I did not find the connection to Arbok still

I follow some artists on pixiv and there is a lot of arbok coiling various characters from different anime all over the place. I don’t know if it is new or not the upload dates are mostly hidden.

There has been a lot of Arbok coiling characters over the years, that is true.
But this is now specific to the character Tokitsukaze and they have all been recent. They have been posted in this month and the previous.
I have now even seen some other Japanese artists post WIPs on their Twitter pages.
A friend has now maybe found out that these might have all have been commissions and requests made by a specific individual of the various artists
