This is NOT Goodbye!!!

Another year's worth of posts down. I'm very glad that I was able to get a new story or image uploaded every week, though I'm sad to say that I didn't get to everything I wanted to. I had a change in my work schedule this year, which takes up the vast majority of my time now. This obviously conflicts with my ability to make new content, in particular, my longer series. If I upload every week, that means I need to make something that requires a minimum of time, which has led to a lot of one-shots. And trying to feel inspired to come up with so many things is quite the task.

I know when people write these sorts of blogs where they're like 'I'm burned out' or 'this doesn't get the attention I wanted' and such, it's normally the opening to an 'I Quit' rant. That is absolutely NOT the case here; I want to avert that fear now. I've never done this for money, I have money, so profit is of no factor here. I share my hobby online because my life is enriched by the attention and appreciation it receives. I am happy to have dedicated followers who favorite or comment on everything I post. I'm also pleased with the relationships I have with a few of the artists here, and I am not about to give any of that up.

Things are going to be different for my upload schedule until further notice. Mainly, I will no longer be uploading every week. I'm also not going to be uploading every part or chapter of a series consecutively, but rather upload for a few different stories. This is so that I do not have to fight to focus on one single story while there's another story begging to be written. The good news there is I will be able to upload a chapter the same week I finish it, rather than write the entire series and then start uploading. The bad news is there may be longer periods of waiting on the edge of cliffhangers.
