PC Broken (Update: Parts secured!)

EDIT: starting from scratch isn't an option, but I was able to improvise. Also yes, my other parts work elsewhere, though my video card needs to be checked, first.

--------

I'm going to give an explanation as to what's going on. I may be all over the place with this explanation, so bare with me.

Basically, I was in Georgia with my partner Gwen Greenears for two months. I was going to head home so I can be back with my family in-time for the holidays. One of the plans was having my PC shipped from Georgia to home in New Jersey. I have everything wrapped & sent on over to UPS, and UPS was going to have my PC delivered by Wednesday. Delays in shipping held it back by a day, so it came in today. I test the monitor, and there's a few fucked up pixels in the top right corner. I was a bit peeved, but it was minor damage, and I was confident that my desktop was going to make it in.

Then the PC wouldn't turn on. Like, it would flicker on, the power supply would make a clicking noise, and then shut down. You'd think it would be my power supply, right? Well, sort-of true. I have a special plug tool to test power supplies, and when I tested the power supply outside of my computer, it did the same thing. My conclusion was to pick up a replacement unit from Best Buy.

So I return from Best Buy with the power supply unit. I plug it in to the test tool, and the fan began to spin. It worked. Stoked, I plugged the new PSU in, had everything cable managed, and decided to plug it in to test it. I gave it another test, and it actually did the same thing: Turn on, then turn off immediately. Only this time, the new PSU made no clicking noise like the old one. So I disconnect the PSU from my PC & plug the tester back in. Now, the new PSU just wouldn't work at all. All I can conclude is that something in my motherboard is damaged enough to cause a fry in anything plugged in to it, especially power supplies. I have no way of testing the other hardware to see if it still works. I have no money to take to repairs, or to build from scratch, and all of this is happening before Xmas. Even if my motherboard didn't fuck up my other parts, the UPS man probably did for being so damn careless. As it stands right now, all I have to my name is a laptop that can barely stand on its own. It's not something that can handle SFM, or anything else like Blender or Unity, either.

Basically, my PC is fucked, and I have projects I owe that I now can't finish. I really, really, really, really hate asking for help, especially since I would rather work for it & not come off as a freeloader. But also, especially since FT2K4, bless his big derg heart, helped me to get home when I was close to missing my flight due to a shitty Uber driver (which itself is a long story). Still, since I already have had a lot willing to help me in my own Discord server, I may as well leave the door open to donations through my PayPal. Either that, or if you want a little something at all in return, Either a YCH order, or even my own SubscribeStar. I've been starting to share WIPs related to avatar rigging in VRChat along side my usual SFM work output. At the absolute very least, I would need about $300 USD for a functioning computer that can at least handle SFM. I'll leave links below where you can help. I'll also try and update all of you whenever or not I reach my goal, and then some.
