A new year! January Update!

Happy new year everyone! May this one be…..well...better! X3

I got a bunch of things I want to get done this year! Here are just a few:

-Finish remaining owed sketch rewards for subscribestar 2021 (first quarter)

-Finish rigging 2 queued rigs and finally make the needed edits to mine (by the end of 2022)

-Try to book more comic projects (I want to do more large projects, filling my queue with a handful of those as opposed to another year of 300+ sketches +other things)

-Market myself more and be more social online overall

-Draw my ocs more

-New artist feature event in my server!

I want to get back to streaming again, and If I'm being honest I need to get back to it. But first, here's my thoughts on streaming as a whole, and why I personally like to stream, and also why I havent been streaming much lately...

I tend to maintain more focus on my work, and take less breaks overall from working when im streaming and I know I got people watching my stream. I wouldn't want to bore you guys! And this is great for fighting any procrastination or executive dysfunction! But I'm not a fan of being in voice when streaming for the most part, cuz I get distracted a lot. Lately, I haven't had a lot of social energy, and I've never been a talkative person online. I sometimes feel like my streams aren't as fun to watch if I'm not in voice chat, or have my mic on,, which discourages me from streaming at all,, so I opt for just getting the work done and not worrying about streaming at all.. This year, I'd like to at least get back to streaming for you guys, and to help enforce good work habits.

Theres been some important changes to my sketch commissions and subscribestar tiers this year!

I have moved my sketch commissions over to my Artconomy! When you go onto the site they will be marked as waitlisted. You guys will be able to submit your order ideas there, and I'll take them one at a time in order down the waitlist as I have space in my schedule to do them. Here's the new pricing:
$70 base price
+$30 per extra character (max 2 extra)
+$30 per cutaway/panel (max 1)

Unlike my Subscribestar rewards, these sketches won't be limited by a set work time of 1.5 hours. I'd like to push to improve my sketches this year, so I'd like to spend more time on them, and feel free to experiment more with these. They will still be in color, and some shading.

With this new shift with sketch commissions, I'll be prepping my SubscribeStar to focus primarily on my own comic projects, ideas, doodles, and general oc and sona things. I rarely have the time or motivation to work on things for myself after working on commissions. This is a recipe for burnout that I would like to finally start putting in the work to avoid. The unfortunate truth to personal work usually however, is that it doesn't pay the bills unlike comms, so its always pushed onto the back burner or never drawn to begin with. We got some new exciting news for my discord server!!!

This year, we decided to do something special for the server giveaways. In an effort to expand both our community, as well as those of other artists, we decided to do an artist spotlight!
