ANNOYANCE!

I purchased a Crimson Dawn Lightsaber a while back and played with it until the battery died. Had it lit, was swinging it around and generally figuring out how to do the moves from Starwars like the "ObiAni" and the "Reverse ObiAni" and it died on me. We also had to use it as a light source during a power outage that lasted a whole day and on into the next morning so we could play Uno. I have tried charging it, but ever second this saber makes the LOUDEST most obnoxious R2-D2 sounds possible. I've contacted Crimson Dawn and multiple other Lightsaber manufacturers to ask them what I can do about the volume and none of them have responded. It's gotten to the point where I want to take it to someone to remove the speaker so it will charge. At this point I don't give a shit if it makes noise or not, I just want it to work. I know if I take it to someone to do that, it'll cost me about as much money to have them remove the speakers, and that's all I'd want them to do, as it would for me to just get a new saber, but I don't want to do that just yet. If anyone has any ideas on what I can do, because even stuffing the handle of the saber, where the speaker is, under all of my blankets and pillows and charging it through my laptop doesn't help. It's annoying because it doesn't make the sound once ever hour or so. It makes the R2-D2 beeps every second. I don't know if it's SUPPOSED to do that or not because it didn't come with an instruction manual on charging it. Please help.
