Sorry for the Silence, What I've Been Up To (YCH, other work, etc)

Hello! I really need to talk here more, not everyone follows my Twitter (I recommend you do for more constant updates, as well as art I don't post here https://twitter.com/AesirNSFW )

So I know art has been really slow, apologies on that. One of my BIG FOCUS' this month I accidentally stumbled into doing was a big Maid Month themed comic project featuring Maid Aesirko and a rather unfortunate scantily clad nun. This project will only be available to $10+ people on my Subscribestar ( https://subscribestar.adult/aesir ) but may get released on Gumroad far in the future, we'll see. I'm working on page 7 right now, actually. So that's taken a lot of my attention. I really wanna finish this as I realize 'Sweater For 2', due to outside and internal factors, kind of floundered and then flopped entirely and my inability to just go back and finish it was a big blow to my confidence with these comic projects. This one, however, I think I've found a decent workflow and that confidence is coming back. There will be a preview here when the bones of the full project is complete! I don't want to prematurely bait anyone anymore, that has never been my attention, the will of an artist can just be fickle, the smallest thing can crash a project sometimes. My guess is I'm over halfway done, but I'm tackling things a page or two at a time in terms of planning stuff out. The vore will be starting on Page 8, so I'm excited that we're almost there. The fact this comic is likely gonna be at least 10 pages is wild to me, this is already the longest comic project I've done and it's just flowin' out of me. Regarding the YCH, I just wanna say everyone has been incredibly patient and I adore absolutely everyone who won for that. I know this because I haven't gotten a single DM complaining about the lack of progress. I am, -still-, recovering from the blow Taxes took to my finances. This means doing extra commissions to cover for loss of income, trying to ensure I have work to put on the Subscribestar each month so I don't lose even more income, and overall just trying to get back on my two feet. I was hit with some heavy annual payments this month that really put a wrench in things, I won't lie. My -projection- is that work will likely start on it next month, as soon as I'm done the bones of this comic. I'll be tackling it incrementally because it's just a large project, but I'll be posting the progress publicly. Thank you, again, for your incredible patience.

To reiterate, the hard focus on Commissions to pay taxes put an extreme halt on Subscribestar work in general. I'm still maintaining my other responsibilities (OC requests), and now have this comic project (Although that is only for $10+ supporters, it's my current passion project and getting updated literally almost every single day), I had plans for a couple pics this month that just didn't work out due to these factors. I may still try to squeeze in one or two, but once things are stable (Which is possible with more supporters, catch 22 I know), I'll be able to get more regular art done. I'm looking forward to it, I got plenty of ideas for both regular art and bigger stuff like comics.

(I just wanna explain, in case anyone's curious, what I mean by 'bones' of the comic is I'm getting the lines, spotblacking, dialogue, some effects, etc all done first, then plan to go back and adding toning, maybe tweak some things, etc. Maybe I'm just overthinking but wanted to explain what I mean about that, this isn't just a pile of sketches, I'm really proud of what I've done so far.)

Anyway, that's my little update. Things are still really tough, but I think it's gonna take an upturn soon once I finish digging out of this hole.
