There was this dream I had a few times when I was a kid

The world of the dream seemed to be populated by kids. Where they came from, I could not say. But the girls lived in villages surrounded by fields in the midst of a vast forest, where they practiced agriculture and wore clothes. The boys, on the other hand, lived nude in the forest. An important part of the boys’ diet was girls, whom they would capture, kill, and eat. The girls didn’t like this very much, but also didn’t do much to prevent it, beyond not going into the forest if they could avoid it.

Occasionally, however, a girl would go into the forest, discard her clothes, and join the boys’ community, being accepted as a boy despite having the wrong sex parts. These trans–boys (not that I had ever heard such a term, this was in the 1980s after all) of course joined in hunting and eating girls. Did boys ever put on clothes and join the girls’ villages? I don’t recall!
