June 6:
Mobile update:
* Display width - Image should always be fixed to the width in mobile mode. Similar to desktop mode. The user can simply scroll down. And it won't shrink to a tiny bar. It will automatically load the full quality version if your screen is big enough to show it. It only shrinks if your screen resolution isn't big enough after taking up the full width. So you are always viewing the highest quality at full width.
* Embedded image in document - Should work properly at all times in mobile mode. Previously, it was sometimes not loading properly.
* Document spacing - Should be improved now.
* Darkmode document viewing: Should respect the existing color by inverting dark to light color, depending on the mode accordingly, so text is always visible.
Note: PDF viewing without downloading is currently not planned. It is costly, but opening a new tab automatically without needing you to navigate the download screen should still be a good compromise. Which is implemented as of now.
Desktop + Mobile update:
* Search should now support the OR modifier. See Search page for details.

* The message page should be done with proper swipe delete plus undo, streamlining the process
* The layout should be much more compact and unified with proper dark mode respect, and make it clearer which category the item.

One of the harder pages to correctly fix, so that took some time, but I think this should be good enough in the meantime.

* Front page refresh is done. Should be where things are regarding the mobile interface. Toggling back and forth should be more straightforward, and messaging should be more accessible.

Mobile mode and Dark mode should be ready for actual use. It is now feature-complete and finalized. This should conclude our Mobile update and get us ready for the next phase.
Mostly minor Layout adjustments and fixes. Also changed drag and drop in favorites arrangement to be toggleable.

Sorting is available! We finished reindexing all our data with a new database design, and the search, tag, and latest pages should now be able to sort by newest, oldest, most favorited, and most viewed in most of cases.
Will finish the rest soon.

Rewrote queries for favorite generation using Elastic Search. Now the favorite page should be much faster even if user has an unreasonable number of favorites. Comment in iStory should notify page/story ower and commenter if it is a reply in the form of a G4 message

This one includes a massive amount of changes (practically every files has been touched) so it took a while. I'm sure there will be some bug but we will have to see how it goes.

You can search with a filter. It basically just converts warn/omit/block to exclude and starred to include. It supports more than one submitter. You can not exclude the submitter as submitter queries are already exclusive.
Viewing image now has a third zoom level, "Full size zoomed". The loading page will automatically determine which version suits your screen size best and will load either the resized, full-sized but zoomed, or full size unzoomed version to try and fit your screen width. Simply click on the image to rotate between them.
June 28b:
Updated front page to stack artist uploads who have uploaded multiple images in the last day. This is not meant to penalize artists who upload a bunch at a time, but more to make space for other artists. We added a new button that will show additional upload from the same artist, effectively making the items stacks together but viewable by a rotating button.

A "clear omit" button should be there if there are omitted item on your message page on display. Clicking it will show a confirmation dialog showing you allowing you to confirm what you want to clear.

Smarter front page artist stacks: it will try to detect sequences that are supposed to display in reverse order (artists generally upload them in order) while loose piece that are not in a sequence will display based on newest.
Dark mode for the front page. Just the front page... for now.
July 1:
Updated tags tooltip and icon description preview to work everywhere. They should function even in places that didn't used to work. I don't think I missed any place but there could be some that can be added still.

Hell yeah, thanks for this.
Been fiddling with the mobile version and I do think I prefer it to the old one. Wouldn't use it on desktop, but that's not the point anyway. It's a lot easier to do stuff, and I don't have to zoom in and press a tiny X to remove submissions from my notifications, which is real nice.

First let me say as someone with light sensitivity thank you for adding dark mode. However I noticed a bug with it. The comment section lettering remains dark with the background making it next to invisible.

Regarding the document spacing on mobile, I've noticed an issue where the paragraph spacing for RTF documents is inconsistent between mobile and desktop viewers. It seems that regardless of the source document, the desktop viewer always has a 1em paragraph margin, and the mobile viewer always has no paragraph margin at all (at least for RTF files specifically).

The new sorting feature is really nice. But an issue I'm having with it on mobile is that the "enter" key on the mobile keyboard now just moves the cursor to the sort box instead of searching, and it makes it impossible to search on the desktop view on a mobile device. It does the same thing on the mobile view, but the mobile view has a search button on screen.

On the search or the tags pages there should be a search button on both desktop or mobile view. it is right beside the sort by drop down. So it should never be impossible to activate search.
And pressing enter while you are on the "search by text" field should activate the search regardless.
If you are not seeing a search button, something is very wrong.
If you are talking about something else, you might need to PM me and provide more detail. Cause I'm not able to reproduce what you are talking about.

sorting! I am so happy to see this feature landing, will be using it a ton. I do wonder though, will the views that result from people searching for the most viewed posts impact the view count? I'm worried that this could cause a positive feedback loop where the most-viewed posts keep getting more views, while newer posts can't catch up. is this an actual concern, or is the traffic from sorted searches low enough that this won't have such an impact?

Definitely not my concern. It is how view works. You can't expect a feature that focuses on something to also not focus on something.
