I'm going to get myself set up to take commissions within the next few days. I'll probably only make one or two slots available to start off, so I don't overwork myself. This means I will no longer be making requests for free, though I am still willing to make trades if the other person's art appeals to me. I'll be posting another blog entry when I have everything set up and all the new info posted on my commission status page.

Unfortunately, I've run into some issues with this project. The scene for the first panel wouldn't render at all in Iray, and when I got all the shaders switched over to 3Delight (a process with a lot of false starts, in this case), my character and the prey one had issues with certain things turning out weird looking, and I can't figure out how to make it look right. So, I'm putting this comic on the backburner; at the very least, it won't get done this month, and I may not finish it at all.

Just an update, I've made my choices for the YCH. Both slots are filled. Thank you to everyone who offered up a character!

I was surprised not to be getting a lot of offers for the YCH I posted, but when I looked back, I realized, it may not have been clear that it's free. Well, it is, if that was holding anyone back from offering their character.

My character from the create-a-pred contest is complete.

Amanda is a short, pale frog girl with long black hair, gold eyes and ample curves. She works as a law enforcement park ranger on an alternate earth that's fairly similar to reality save for the presence of other intelligent humanoids such as frog girls, some of which are capable of swallowing people whole. Her natural curiosity serves her well in finding criminals, and she finds hunting them down quite fun. While she likes being in the company of others, she is somewhat shy when out of uniform.

Since the last round of my design-a-predator contest is half over, and only a couple of people have suggested names, I thought I'd make a little reminder that just submitting a name entitles you to a 720p image request made by me, and the winner of the naming contest gets a 4K image instead. So make your suggestions!
