Commissions will be available this month! They’ll be available to patrons on the 11th and to the public on the 18th. These are, as always, completed before the end of the month and delivered in a timely manner. Look for the graphic I post to get one when the time comes!

Happy November 1st! I hope you all had an excellent (and mischief-free) halloween! I stayed in and made my very first ever pumpkin pie which looks horrified but tasted delicious. I also gorged myself on candy and accidentally spooked myself listening to atmospheric music (the music from the bottom of the well in OoT came on my playlist and it was scary, ok?)
I also finished inktober, which is an incredible accomplishment for me, and something I’ve been wanting to work towards for years! I celebrated by finally buying the expansion pass for botw but still haven’t had a chance to play it yet. One day I’ll get to it! So let’s get to the updates you need to know this month

It’s finally been raining in Eugene!! You guys have absolutely no idea how much good that’s done; it’s cooled off and made working bearable again as well as made walks a bit more pleasant. I’ve also picked up pokemon go finally (team valor!! woo!!!) and I’ve been getting a lot of wandering in because of that. I’ve been enjoying it a ton! I can’t wait to go play through the rich neighborhoods too and see what kind of spooky halloween decorations they come up with :3c

YCHs will be making an appearance again this month! There’s only 3 of them since I ran out of time to sketch (and that also means no raffle; boo :c ) but hopefully you’ll enjoy these! They’re all halloween themed and one even features Bizzy! Stay tuned for those in the coming weeks.

Hooray, it’s September! That means the weather outside should (hopefully) be winding down and stop being so fucking hot oh my god I live in Oregon why is it like this?

The first days of August are here, meaning it’s blackberry season in Oregon. I know this because I went blackberry picking and now have a large spider bite on my thumb! But I also got a pound of blackberries so who’s the real winner here?

Mmmm, good morning! July has definitely started out with a bang. A day trip to Portland and 6-7 miles of walking was pretty refreshing exercise-wise, but it made my legs super sore and I'd much rather avoid that particular activity in the near future. :'D Anyway, I have some exciting news that I'd like to share at the end of this journal, so lemme get through all the regular announcements before I share that one!

But I’m back again with another new month and new pile of announcements and info for the upcoming four-week forecast. There’ve been a couple of changes with the way I do things, so lemme go down the list.

Commissions are going strong, but there’s been another small change to how they’re run. May is here! Been a bit of a struggle with my mental health lately and I'm feeling pretty worn out but I'm trying to stay optimistic. The future still looks bright, I think, and that's what's important.

Commissions are back to being submitted via google docs. Commiss.io, while a nice site, just doesn't allow me to do what I was hoping it would with comics and causes more problems than it solves. So I'm back to running things the way I know how! I'm going to be opening for monthly sale-price commissions sometime next week and reference sheet commissions are going to be an always-open thing. April is officially started! I've had a good weekend for the first two days but I'm ready to jump in and really tackle some work this month. I've got Bob Ross in the background, too, and that's making me feel creative and inspired. So let's hit the ground running!

Commissions are going to be handled a little differently this month; I'm trying out a new site called Commiss.io for handling things. I'm not sure how its gonna go yet so I appreciate anyone helping me out with testing it! From the few test runs I've done it's been way easier on both me and the folks that have commissioned me through it, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes on a larger scale. March has gotten a pretty late start for me because I was up in Seattle for a few days visiting a friend and having a blast at ECCC! Got a couple prints, a cool deadpool shirt, and a ton of new memories. Also managed to stop at the aquarium and sketch some fish while eating a ton of good food all weekend. I had a great time and I feel refreshed and inspired and ready to tackle March. I'm a bit behind, but I've got no doubts things will come together I feel so ready!
