Considering Opening for Color Commissions Posted 11 years ago
I'll probably open for color commissions here in the next couple days.

But if I do, they're gonna be expensive. It takes two to five times as much time to do lineart and color +lighting/shading. If you want to see a couple examples of my work, I'll post three links below.

This isn't really a "If enough people respond" thing,...

Guild Wars II owns my life Posted 11 years ago
Self-explanatory.

I've been gone for a while and probably will continue to be distracted for a good long while. But eventually I'll be back in force. I hope. Haha!

Anyway, just an update for anyone who cares. : p

Commission Status Update Posted 11 years ago
I'm opening for 5 commissions.

I won't draw gore unless it's involved in digestion. Then I'm totally game. I reserve the right to select commissions myself, not on a first-come, first-serve basis. Due to my work schedule, it may take me a month to get your commission done. This is the second time I've done commissions online, so we'll see how long it takes me to do 5. All payments must be through Paypal. This is an example of the two types of sketches and prices attached: http://aryion.com/g4/view/217722

If you are interested, PM me your information (Description of your character(s) and the scene). I am not doing comics at this time. I will update my Commission Status tab...

Strange feeling Posted 11 years ago
My mind and fingers still more easily draw Serena than they do Clover.

I guess it's expected, but the priorities there seem weird. I won't say that it's like opening an old wound; that's not it at all. It's just a reminder of how things are? I don't know how to describe it. Eh. Good to be drawing again, either way.
A Scary Thought Posted 11 years ago

2 Kings 3:26-27 God has proclaimed the destruction of the Moabites' major cities and towns after their rebellion against Israel. That and the destruction of all their fields, which certainly comes about. What interests me is the reaction of the King of Moab sacrificing his son who wast to succeed him on the throne: "The fury against Israel was great; and they returned to their own land." So... what happened there? It's made pretty clear that the Israelites aren't exactly in the good graces of God at that point, but why does this turn come about with the sacrifice of a human? The only thing I can think of is that there is a presence with some authority that is fueled by such an atrocious act. What a frightening thought.
John 5:1-15 Posted 12 years ago
These are my thoughts from part of my daily reading.

After the defeat of the Amalekites, King David returns to Bethlehem and decides to bring the Ark of the Covenant with him. But one of the bearers, Uzzah, reaches out to steady the Ark when the oxen stumble. For his irreverence, he's struck dead. For the longest time I was really squicked by this, because it seemed like Uzzah's intentions were good; he didn't want the Ark to be dropped on the ground. HOWEVER: that is a rule that humans made up. What does it really matter if the Ark got dropped on the floor? God made no rules against it touching the ground. That's just something that we think of as dirty. In reality, it is we who are unworthy to touch and who sully the Ark.
I was reminded of this when I...

Looking for a Female Volunteer Posted 12 years ago
Your character will be AV'd by a herm if I go through with this comic. WILLING PREY.

THIS WILL RESULT IN DIGESTION AND SCAT.

If you want to apply, send me a character description and/or character reference. No scripting necessary; this will be a "silent" comic.
If I get no takers, I'll just make someone up. Just thought I'd give the option for someone to get in on this. : 3
Window to the Future Posted 12 years ago
So it occurred to me that there aren't many galleries of people who have already died.

I guess it's because the generations that have had the internet and have just started to find their way to each other over the internet is OUR generation.

So howabout that? We're pioneers! Forging forward to create digital works that will outlast all of us. How interesting...

My real question is: Who will Eka and Leshanna choose to pass on the torch to when they take off?

I'm very lazy.

Or more Attention Deficit Disorder, probably. I just start things and then immediately get sidetracked to something else. I wonder if there is something wrong with me? It certainly doesn't feel wrong; I just am so enamored by so many different and new ideas that my hands can't keep up with my imagination. I should probably come up with a rule that I'm not allowed to move on before I finish something but...
Drawing is a tricky thing; the reason I don't do commissions is because I'm afraid it will take a lot of the fun out of drawing. Similarly, if I impose rules upon myself, I'm not sure I'll enjoy it anymore. Still... as it is I've just left a trail of unfinished ideas across my gallery. *Sigh*

At least I'm home again so I can catch up on...

Again, Back Again Posted 12 years ago
Tired, happy, alive.

Went through some tough stuff. Broken up. Over it now, I think. More importantly, so is the other party, I think.

Drew some stuff. Been a while since I've posted anything; will upload now.
