So I revised my commissions policy and pricing and reopened for business.

I'm not the greatest writer in the world, but I'll do my best! So hopefully you guys will give me a shot~

So I've already let thebigbrap know this, but I got a job recently. Not only that, but I'll be making more in a week than what I made in a month at my old job, so I'll be able to get a page a month rather than one every other month. Maybe two a month once I get some things paid off.

But yeah. Hopefully updates will start again soon assuming he's not too busy.

So some friends of mine (Dokudoku and The Saint of Ravens) and I came up with this thing. It's basically the pokemon world, except all pokemon are demi-human or anthro versions of themselves.

Of course certain things in this world change based on this. The reasoning why you never leave town without your own pokemon is now because losing a battle with a wild pokemon will often get you eaten. Of course this also can apply to losing a fight with another trainer. The laws are surprisingly lax regarding a more civilized or domesticated pokemon eating another one, or a human. This also means that pokemon breeders are often shady dealers who probably engage in some form of human trafficking in order to feed their charges before selling them to some unsuspecting trainer more or less...

Now for those of you who are fans of thebigbrap like me, you've probably seen this comic commission he's done, and possibly even the beginnings of the second part commissioned by me.

I've received a few PMs about it, but I figure I should probably clarify a few things here.

I have paid for the second page, although considering how busy bigbrap has been lately, I'm afraid I don't know when that'll be going up, but it's paid off and will happen.

Beyond that, however, I actually lost my job a little while ago, so it will probably be quite a long time before I can continue to pay for the comic. Now, of course, if you don't feel like being patient you can always pitch in a bit and help me pay for it. I don't really like asking for help, but since it's...

One of these days someone needs to find a cure for writer's block.

I've had a story about 60% finished for the last week, but every time I open up word, I just stare at it for an hour before losing all will to work. Got other story ideas too, but I can't even begin on them for the same reason.

Driving me absolutely crazy.

I've decided to go forward with commissions after all. I am also willing to do trades occasionally, although I would prefer being able to eat over nice art, of course~.

So I know I've not posted many stories on here before, but I was wondering... should I start writing for commission?

And if so, how much should I charge, and how? Per page? Per word like newspapers and stuff?

Not only would it help bring in some seriously needed revenue, but it would help me refine my writing and give me something to do instead of moping around about being jobless.

What do you guys think?
