Just wanted to dump some unfiltered status updates out about various things I'm working on and what I've been up to. For the past couple months I've mostly just been doing commissions as they roll in. Earlier in the year, I was pushing to get more chapters of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorer Lutro out, but procrastination and other unrelated hobbies started taking away writing time! I do have several more chapters written, as well as a rough outline for more. I'll try to get some more chapters posted to keep that story going. (I have some character art too! Whenever Eka's is down, you can still find me over on FurAffinity and InkBunny. While 100% of my content is found here, a subset can be found on those sites as well. (It all depends on what the respective site's upload policies are.)

Happy New Year everyone! Just wanted to announce that I'll be re-starting commission openings "soon" (as always, my commission info page has the most up-to-date info on whether or not I'm open (check the queue at the bottom!)).

As part of the new year and new slew of commissions to come, I've decided, like many others, to bump my rates a bit. Admittedly this is purely a hobby for me, and I'm in no way dependent on doing these to sustain myself. (If it was, the prices would be much higher!) A couple big binging days coupled with sticking to a regular schedule has me completing this 50,000 word challenge ahead of schedule once again. And this item, everything that was written is already published or is slated to be published in the coming days!

This is a story I've been working on for a while now (a lot of procrastination was involved). Finally decided to start posting completed chapters for all to enjoy! It gets its own folder in my gallery that's available now, right here!

This is Lutro's canonical backstory. His history of being an explorer with the story set in a typical PMD universe. There are a few tweaks from PMD, most notable being no magical teleport powers/items and no humans.

Honestly, I've always been open for commissions, although I'm now at a point where my queue is basically completely empty. Meaning that if you're interested in getting a story written, now's the best time to hit me up! My commission info page has all the details, including pricing ($20 for 2,000 words/4 pages; +$10 = +1,000 words/2 pages) and such.

How big does everyone see a "page" anyway? I've seen some writing commissioners sell by the page. In my measurements (using the font/spacing/etc. I use for writing), 1 page is about 500 words. Curious what others see it as, so leave a comment if you'd be so...

I can't believe it's been nearly a year since I've started taking commissions. (I further find it hard to believe how many have reached out to me in order to write them stuff -- first and foremost a thanks to all of you!) When my one year anniversary comes up, I plan to do a little something special for everyone. Hey all,
Eka's Portal is back and better than ever. I'm happy to say that I have all of my previously-hidden works restored, and am uploading new works under the same previously-restricted categories as well. If you can't find them, verify that you're logged in! I have them visible to Registered Users only. (While this isn't a strict requirement for written works I felt it appropriate all the same.)

To those that would rather avoid those works when filtering through my gallery: I did my best to thoroughly tag every entry, so that you can blacklist/avoid stuff you don't want to see.

I, among many others, were hit by a sudden purge of a specific subset of submissions a while back due to Eka's Portal running into an issue with their hosting provider. At first I was willing to wait things out, presuming it would be a temporary thing. But since it's been months now with no news on their front, I've decided to make an InkBunny account and upload all of my works there, in addition to here.

I'm not blaming Eka's Portal, just to be clear. This is likely a big headache for them to try and figure out! And when the day comes that we can upload new submissions again, I will continue to do so! (And old submissions should re-appear, as they're just hidden, not deleted.) I really do like this site and have absolutely no intentions of leaving it.
