Will wendy escape?, I know the story but the good thing is that you can take those liberties, in this universe there are no souls in animatronics, there are souls trapped in those purple hips (or so I think) a golden soul can easily end up there I'm just saying.

I think I have an idea how to explain it from the movie, maybe she speeds up her oblivion by "digesting" it by slowly wueing the memories that her friends or families are replaced by modified versions with her, which would make only her remember her victims provoking that now the new other life is her hips, I don't know if it is of interest to you for the next one.
