It's the forepaws that are so hard to draw. I'm still figuring out how they work.

Unless the prey is very small, a rubbery snout is a necessary modification. I know it’s bony in real life, but these aren’t normal anteaters. 83

That's not the only weird nature fact regarding genitals. People honestly through Virginia opossums had hemipenes so the male could mate with the female's nose, giant panda males are so underendowed that one zoo had a male for years and thought it was a female, etc.

I didn't know that about giant anteaters, though. They are so fuzzy it's hard to make out much. 83

Strega - 9 days ago

The badgers are a neat example because they know they are in no way, shape or form a match for an alert human, so they set traps of various sorts to incapacitate or weaken them long enough to swallow. 83

Strega - 9 days ago

That is a thing Stregaverse badgers tend to do. We’ve seen at least three different little badgers start setting up traps once they luck out and score a huge meal. 83

Sadly I can’t find any instances of it happening. A mouse SHOULD fit, but either it doesn’t happen or no one has filmed it. Zoo anteaters are fed a sort of food pellet and you’d think a mouse would get in there and be slurped up at some point. 83

Strega - 8 days ago

No, they don't. Just a tube mouth. And of course, in real life the tube is bony and too small to eat anything larger than a cockroach. Maybe a mouse if the anteater is really ambitious. 83

Strega - 9 days ago

That's an example of an old one that should really be touched up and rescanned. If I can find the original. 83

Sadly, pretending to resist was a big thing back when he was growing up and he is a bit of a genetic throwback, much bigger and stronger than the average member of his race. So he got a LOT of action both sexually and as a predator. He still won't physically, forcibly rape someone but due to his upbringing, getting them to cooperate by threatening them seems A-OK to him.

Strega - 1 month ago

He is not a complicated person, it's just that to explain how this doofus can wander around and eat people on Earth I've had to jump through some hoops. Most of my predators operate in secrecy, like Striper and Sandra who are serial killers very good at covering up their predatory activities. Whenever you have a pred out in the open you have either say "Eh, whatever" or work out a reason he doesn't end up in jail or shot.

Strega - 1 month ago

They should probably take him off planet and send him back to the fetish’s colony, where behavior like this is expected. What they ARE doing is covering up his activities and in some cases reforming his prey, when they are too prominent to disappear. 83

Strega - 1 month ago

He can easily be perceived as a villain. He's meandering around eating people. The fact that's too dumb to figure out he can't be doing that is not much of an excuse. 83

The kzinti picks you up with a conspicuous lack of effort. He's not showing off. Surrounded by other Ziggurat guardsmen, some of them bigger and stronger than he is, there'd be no point. It's just that to an eight foot tall, six hundred pound feline alien you aren't much of a burden. You don't have high hopes for what is going to happen next. The fact that Yellowstripe the kzin won you in a brief game of dice and that the various gamblers were all casting covetous looks at your tied-up form does

Strega - 1 month ago

But then there's no chance of boning her AND the person inside her, which could well happen if the holes happen to line up. 83

Strega - 1 month ago

Reformation is a thing -sometimes-. Hazel and Yellowstripe are Ziggurat employees and would reform. M'ress reforms back home due to transporter trickery so she can be assumed to reform, usually with some loss of memories gained since her last "backup".

Our POV character here won't reform without outside help. You can pay a large fee to get to reform at the Ziggurat but our hero didn't so his trip through M'ress is a one time thing. Even if he'd paid, he was sentenced to death there so the guarantee would be void. He's history.

There is one story where someone pays off the fee so that someone (Yellowstripe) is eaten and then reforms without knowing he was going to, but this is pretty uncommon.

Strega - 1 month ago

The idea is it takes some time for the stuff to get going, so it probably just stings a bit since sex doesn't last that long. He probably does get off on it, though. Kind of like klingons and their pain sticks. 83

Strega - 2 months ago

Yeah, the snake regurgitated his arm when it realized it couldn't swallow him, just as he predicted it would. Most people would grab a steak knife and saw the snake in half but he owns big snakes 'cos he's into vore, so since the feeding didn't hurt as much as you'd think he let it eat his arm.

Strega - 2 months ago

Big snakes do punch a lot of holes in prey as they swallow it. There’s often a surprising amount of blood. A friend of mine got his arm eaten by one of his big snakes, it was covered with puncture wound when the snake decided he was too big to swallow and coughed it up.

Big Mt (Old World Blues) Nightstalkers see through stealth at a huge distance, even Stealth Boys. Indoors you can just assume that if you can see them they can see you, even with 100 Stealth. The one exception is if they are facing directly away at the end of a long hall.
