The Little Tyrant

In a field of black flowers, a lone orb hovered. For a while it had been ignored, until the sphere started to twinkle. The flowers of the field shifted and changed into humans, although they couldn't really be classified as such. These humanoid figures were Legionnaires, servant of The Mother who for the most part existed as apart of her body.

The Mother was organizing a trip to Crystal's hot-spring, when she received an urgent call from her Daughters. Sending Twilight, Firestar and a large group of other guests still living in her home off on their way, The Mother went over to see what the commotion was about. When she appeared in the section of the portal fields, The Mother was startled but she saw.

A portal hovering in the middle of the flower patch was about the size of a small automobile. Standing around it, was a large group of dark-skinned Legionnaires. At first The Mother thought it was their natural coloring, but when she stepped closer to the portal she knew otherwise. From the opening The Mother could tell there was a lot of corruption seeping through. More than that, the sickly miasma emanating from the sphere told her it was ancient. As she stepped closer, The Mother could feel that this world had been very corrupt for a long time, almost since its birth.

Going over to the large portal, The Mother reached out to touch it tentatively. Not feeling pulled into the world, she relaxed and placed a hand on the sphere. The Mother learned the world had been plagued by wars for most of its history, each of the five nations in world being involved in one whenever their populace was thriving. Feeling something wrong, The Mother dug into the worlds past to try and find the source.

She found her answer in the form of five nefarious humans, who sought to elevate themselves over the rest of their kin. To do that, each of them started religions in the five countries just starting at the time. Each god was blood-thirsty and warmongering, but only demanded war when their followers were strong. The humans that started the religion became their Shamans, and made it a high honor to be given the right to bear, or give birth to, the next shaman.

Allric, was a muscle bound female god. Once each year, on the day her religion was started, the god would hold a tournament. This was to see who would become Allric's avatar and the victor of the tournament would gain that honor. In the Allriss country, only females were allowed to fight, while the ladies stayed at home. The only time a lady could gain a position of high stature, was when a girl was born to be the next shaman. To Allric's followers, strength and brutality were the most prized traits someone could have. Females who were weak after reaching puberty were exiled into the forests around the main city. This was a death sentence since that area was populated by Liama clans. To best a Liama was considered a tremendous show of strength, and would normally allow a female exiled to rejoin their family.

Lar'ara, was a lithe, huntress girl goddess. As a hunter, Lar'ara would bestow a portion of her prowess onto any of her followers that proved their worth to her. To do that, her follows would hunt very feral cats that lived in the mountains around where Lairittes had made their home. Lar'ara may have been a lady, but she viewed her followers by their skills, not by their sex. One the best offerings to give to Lar'ara was a living enemy, captured on the field of battle. Even though it was the ultimate honor, very few tried to tame a wildcat as a show of fealty to Lar'ara. Most of Lar'ara's follows were very lean and light on their feet, but those who gained Lar'ara's blessing were given increased strength. Lar'ara never called for war, but when the prey was plenty, she would call for a hunt. Some captives were allowed to live as servants to their captors if Lar'ara found them to be a worthy hunt.

Hellina, was a battle-magi, her sex was never specified. Her followers prized a healthy mind and body, over strength, but they did not forgo brute force. They just preferred to to rely more on their mind to win their battles over numbers or strength. The land where Hellina governed, Arcanima, hovered off the ground due too the massive amount of magic infused into the ground. Her followers joined families which focused on one magic style or another. They, Arcanittes, then meditate and duel in the shrine built to worship Hellina, in an attempt to win her favor and be bestowed with a portion of her power and knowledge in their class of magic. As mentioned before, Hellina's sex is not known, therefore, she only cares about her follows devotion to battle and magic. When her people are bolstered by years of prosperity, Hellina will call for a purge, in which her people make war on all nations. Arcanittes feel all other countries are inferior to their own.

Lar'keara, is a goddess and the sister to Lar'ara. Her follows have taken the names of Amazons. The females in her country are not treated like trash, but they are the worker class. Amazons gain Lar'keara's blessing by forming hunting parties and proving that they are able to function as one. All captives are labeled as slaves, female slavers are used as mules by the Amazons. Girl slaves are used as breeding mates for the worker class, if their aren't used as sacrifices to Lar'keara. The Amazon's goddess only calls for war when the number of slaves begins to dwindle. Lar'keara forbids war against her sister, and Lar'ara feels the same.

Skrawl, is a very dark god. She feeds on the blood and souls of those sacrificed to her. Skrawl's clansmen are demon summoners, however, do not mistake them them for demon worshipers. They view their minions as nothing more than shields to be used in combat to keep them safe.

Those who do not have skill as summoners are trained to fight and infused with dark energy to empower them. Skrawl places her own power into these warriors once they prove their worth and makes them into dark fighters. The most fearsome of these are the ones that fight without a weapon as a focus for their power. Those who are selected by Skrawl's shaman are fused with an enslaved demon and turned into Felbloods. Felbloods are weak and used for little more than menial labor. Once a month, Skrawl demands a tribute of large proportions. Which means that her dark followers are always going out to find more sacrifices.

While at first the faith were little more than cults started by the humans, but as their faith grew in followers something happened. The gods they had started worshiping with their cults came into existence. The shamans sensed this and summoned their deities to give their nations cause to join the group and make worshiping them the countries religion.

After her history lesson, The Mother looked forward, to more recent events. A massive war had broken out between all five nations at once. In the end, one woman stood the victor out of the war, but she held no allegiance to any one nation. The 'Mother then peered into this woman's past.

She was born in Lar'ara's domain, but was not a pure-blood. Ara'kear was her name, named after the gods her mama and mother worshiped. After she was born, however, the shamans for both Lar'ara and Lar'keara found out about their actions. Condemning the parents to death, Ara'kear's mother was executed on the spot. The child and her mama were to sacrificed to Lar'keara.

Ara'kear's mother had been a huntress, and her mama an Amazon. With the rest of the Amazons watching, the shaman denounced her union. She said that Ara'kear being born was heresy, and that she would be sacrificed along with her mama to their goddess. As the ceremonial flames roared around the pair, Lar'keara's mama began to glow with a fiery radiance. The lady walked out of the sacrificial chamber, the flames not even touching her skin. The shaman ordered the mama be killed, but as arrows rained down towards her, the projectiles burst into flames.

Ordered by the shaman to slay her with their blades, the rest of the Amazons realized their weapons were glowing the same color as the mama's body. Their weapons had been blessed by Lar'keara and then the Amazons realized that their goddess was in front of them. Even though it was Ara'kear's mama that was speaking, her voice was otherworldly. The goddess looked harshly at her shaman, and said that she would accept the child's mama, but not the child herself. Placing the child gently on the ground, she continued to say that Ara'kear was a female and would not be accepted as a tribute. As she returned the ladies body to the sacrificial chamber, Lar'keara told her followers that Ara'kear would be allowed to live as an Amazon. When the shaman tried to protest, the goddess glared at her and said that if her judgement was not approved of, then Ara'kear could simply be the one sent in first to every engagement.

From the time she was able to fight, Ara'kear was always sent out with the first wave of fighters and always came back, much to the shaman's disappointment. Ara'kear did not have an easy life, she was constantly being pushed to her limits when she wasn't out fighting in wars. The female Amazon developed a sixth sense that alerted her when assassins were attempting to kill her, as the shaman of both Lar'ara and Lar'keara sent them multiple times. People who followed both gods were inspired by and felt that the treatment the shamans gave Ara'kear unjust.

One time, when the followers of Skrawl were attacking, Ara'kear was captured. She was not, however, captured because she defeated. Ara'kear had been poisoned before a fight, by an Amazon loyal to the shaman. The dark fighters knew of Ara'kear's heritage and how well she fought, so they knew something was up when they caught her. Finding the poison in her body, they realized what had happened.

After returning to their home, Ara'kear was brought before Skrawl's shrine to be judged. Skrawl's shaman was furious over what they had done and began to prepare to fuse a demon into the female and turn her into a Felblood. When she heard of what was going to happen to her, something snapped in Ara'kear. She had been bound in magical chains, but even though they could easily restrain some of the more powerful demons, they offered no resistance to her.

Once she was freed, Ara'kear defeated over twenty experienced dark fighters, along with several warlocks. As she stalked towards the shaman, Skrawl's shrine erupted into flames, signifying the deity had come forth. The shaman scurried over to the monument fearful of both her gods wrath and that of Ara'kear. After communing with the god for a few moments, the flames surrounded the shaman. The god spoke to Ara'kear through her servant and asked her if she would be willing to take a chance. The offer the god was giving to the woman was a chance to gain more power.

The challenge was to subdue a demon that Skrawl's followers had summoned, but had been unable to enslave. If Ara'kear was able to beat the devil, Skrawl would then infuse her with the creatures strength and power. On the other hand, if she could not defeat the demon, then her blood and soul would belong to Skrawl. Ara'kear accepted the gods deal and was a little startled when the fiend stepped out into the shrine grounds.

The creature was as big as a house, with terrifying green glowing eyes. Skrawl called the creature a nightmare eater, a demon that would force its victim to experience its worse fears as it devoured their soul. To the god, the devil looked like a gas cloud, but to Ara'kear's eyes the fiend was different. When its restraints were removed, the fiend turned its focus towards the woman in front of it. It warped and shifted as it read Ara'kear's fears.

At first, the demon took on the appearance of Ara'kear's mama, then her mother. Ara'kear watched confused as the devil kept switching forms. It finally settled on a younger version of its prey and the room around Ara'kear faded away. She found herself in the ceremonial chamber where her mama had died. Flames ignited around her, and Ara'kear saw her mama.

“You let her burn you know?” The demon said.

“I couldn't have done anything, I was a child at the time.” Ara'kear responded.

“You could have asked the goddess to spare her as well.” the small form said as Ara'kear's mama was engulfed in the flames.

Ara'kear turned away and crouched down on the floor. The devil began to creep closer to her, its form changing to that of a normal demon. As it stood over here, the fiend took a moment while savoring the soon to come meal. Then as the creature leaned over, Ara'kear clamped a hand around its throat and stood up.

The room around them returned to normal as the devil was lifted off the ground. Skrawl looked at the fiend curiously and stated that she had never seen the creatures true form. As the god prepared to fulfill her part of the bargain, Ara'kear stopped Skrawl. Ara'kear said that she had no need for the power to pick away at people's fears and doubts. Then the woman walked over to a rack of ceremonial blades and drew one out.

Ara'kear then strode back over to where Skrawl waited and slashed the nightmare eater in half. To her surprise, the god merely smiled at Ara'kear's actions. Skrawl then told the woman, that in killing the demon, she had made her part of the bargain much easier. Ara'kear was then surrounded by a typhoon of blood. The fluid then began to flow into her body, causing Ara'kear to twitch.

Once the process was done, Skrawl left the shaman's body. Ara'kear turned to leave the shrine, but was stopped by the person body guards of the shaman. She turned to face the shaman, her eyes taking on a green glow. When the shaman met Ara'kear's gaze, she began to tremble. The demon empowered woman then said in a very dangerous tone that she did not belong to anyone or nation. As she turned to leave once again, Ara'kear glared at the body guards and they shrank back in fright.

The Mother saw how after that, Ara'kear went to each of the other nations and earned the right to meet their gods. For Allric, she simply stormed into the gods shrine and challenged anyone to make her leave. To her surprise, all of Allric followers accepted her challenge, but chose to fight her one on one. They said that it would be a more honorable way to fight, especially since they were in their deities place of worship. After fighting for what seemed like days, Ara'kear finally faced the warrior who had become Allric's avatar.

Ara'kear fought against the warrior till they were both exhausted, then Allric seized control of her servant. Standing up unsteadily, Ara'kear faced the god.

“I would not have thought a demon possessed mortal could have such strength left.” Allric said as she examined the woman facing her.

“Trust me, I didn't gain that power by choice. I even tried to kill the demon to prevent her power from being infused into my body.” Ara'kear responded in disdain.

“Ha ha ha, Skrawl never did like to lose out on a bargain. Even more so, she hates it when she can't keep her word.” Allric said as she chuckled.

“So can I assume your here to fight me, or are you here to kill me?” Ara'kear asked.

“I'm here to see what your limits are. Why do you think I let my servants fight you first? A human always has something left, always a little more that they can push out.” Allric said as blood lust began to fill her hosts body. Ara'kear watched in amazement as the avatar's body became incredibly muscular.

“I don't know if I have anything like that left, I am not one of your subordinates.” Ara'kear said in a submissive manner.

“I know Skrawl very well. She wouldn't have just given you the power of the demon, that bitch always was jealous of me. Skrawl probably empowered you in a similar way to her fighters, just gave you control over when you use it.” Allric said gruffly.

Ara'kear remembered how she felt when she stared down Skrawl's shaman, and tried to replicate them. The only difference was that instead of wanting to make Allric back off, she wanted to be able to face off on equal footing. Even though her body did not go through the same transformation, on Ara'kear's body, strange symbols appeared. The marks would have meant anything to a follower of Skrawl. As the markings appeared, green energy began to arc across Ara'kear's body. When she stood up, Allric was beckoning to her in a taunting way.

Hours later, Ara'kear was beginning to tire, but refused to allow Allric to win easily. Her opponent broke through Ara'kear's defense and then landed a powerful blow. Which sent the challenger flying away from the god. Ara'kear crashed into one of the walls of the shrine, causing part of it to collapse.

This caused Allric to come to her senses, as the god began to fear she had just killed the only person able to spar with her and survive. When the dust settled, Ara'kear forced the rocks covering her away. Allric to do little more than stare at Ara'kear as she dusted herself off. The god the smiled at her and declared the duel over. Looking puzzled, Ara'kear asked why the god had ended the fight early, instead of fighting till one of them was unable to continue.

“Because, if one of us was unable to continue, then it would just be that much longer before we could spar again.” Allric said with a big ironic grin on her face.

“What do you mean?” Ara'kear asked as she began to relax. The green symbols on her body fading.

“My people may take to war in a blood-thirsty manner, however, we are all just looking for an epic battle to be apart of. Like what you gave them when you stormed in here. I demand my people fight and no matter what the result, fight with strength. Win or lose, the fight is what matters to us.” Allric in calm tone which was adverse to the way the god had been depicted.

“Oh, well it was nice to get to meet you, Allric. I apologize if I was rude in my attempt to meet you.” Ara'kear said as she began to stumble.

“Hmph, I wouldn't say it was rude. Truth be told, that's about the kind of challenge I would have expected from one of my kinsmen.” Allric said, patting Ara'kear on the shoulder.

She promptly collapsed at the avatar's feet. Allric called for someone to tend to Ara'kear and released her hold on the avatar. After she recovered, Ara'kear spent the next couple of months training with Allric's followers. Once she finished her training, she went to challenge Allric once more. Only this time the fight ended very differently, with Ara'kear severely outclassing the god.

Allric offered to make Ara'kear her new avatar, but she refused the god's offer. As a farewell gift, Allric bestowed a small portion of her power into her newest pupil. This allowed for Ara'kear to make focused attacks that could penetrate not only armor, but the skin of her target, allowing her to damage them internally.

The Mother passed through Ara'kear's stay in Arcanima since it held little importance to the future. When the massive war began Ara'kear went to the five nations and gathered followers. With them, she made herself the leader of a sixth nation. Her army joined the war after it had raged for a few years, and with Ara'kear's leadership, her forces overwhelmed the other armies.

With her victory, Ara'kear went onto force the unconditional surrender of all the nations. She executed all the shamans, who were all females oddly. They would be replaced by their descendants, who were all girls, when they were old enough.

In the area where most of the fiercest fighting took place, Ara'kear built a castle. Around which, a town was built where her followers could live. At first there was a lot of conflict from the gods, as their way of life had been disrupted. Eventually, however, their followers found ways to return to a somewhat normal lifestyle.

Allric was satisfied with getting to duel Ara'kear every month to sate her battle-lust.

Lar'ara was satisfied with her followers using their children as prey, in order to teach them how to survive. This also allowed their children to train against very seasoned hunters.

Hellina grudgingly accepted that her best fighters had been bested and chose instead to begin training her forces yet again. This god chose to send one student each month to challenge Ara'kear to a duel, most of which stood no chance.

Lar'keara was simply pleased with what Ara'kear had done with the life she had spared. Her followers turned to hunting down Liamas for their tributes, but only when their was a new Amazon squad forming. None of the slaves they had were released and Ara'kear never asked them too do so. Skrawl was the most strange of all the gods in her reaction. She applauded Ara'kear's actions, and took her time drinking her fallen shaman's blood, as well as in devouring the unfortunate individuals soul. She then made it a practice for a warlock and hopeful dark fighter to pair up as they went through their initial training. When they were finished in their training, they would be tested. The test was to defeat a powerful demon the warlock summoned and offer its blood to Skrawl. If they failed, the trainees would become offerings to Skrawl instead.

After seeing the history connected with the world, The Mother felt that the world would require a gentler touch. At that time, the others were returning from their trip. The Mother called over Twilight, and explained to her quickly that she would be going into the world shortly. As she was speaking with her Daughter, in her castle, Ara'kear was entering a prayer room she had made inside.

The tyrant went into the chamber, as she had for many weeks, and began to pray. Earlier, in a show of good faith, Ara'kear had sired children with the shaman of the gods after they had grown up. These children would eventually become the leaders of their nations when their mother died. Unbeknownst to the other nations, Ara'kear had adopted a small female child she had had found one day. She had done this so that that the people who had followed Ara'kear into battle would not be left leaderless and at the mercy of the other nations. For while the gods held no grudge, the shamans did and they had the ear of the nation's people.

Ara'kear prayed for her heir to granted the same strength she had been given from her life. This night, however, their was a sixth figure listening to her prayer. The other five gods left after she finished her prayer, unwilling to offer aid to a mortal who had proven herself. The Mother did not leave, she was watching, but only her mind was in the world. Once all the other gods had left, she made her presence known.

Appearing as an angelic being, The Mother appeared in a flowing white dress that seemed to float free of gravity. Ara'kear was startled by her appearance, expecting no response like every other night. The Mother could tell the woman she was in front of did not recognize her. Empowering herself, Ara'kear prepared to fight, but she relaxed when the strange figure in front of her smiled.

“My name is The Mother. I mean you no harm. I have come in response to your plea.” The Mother's voice rang out very melodically. Her mouth never moved, which worried Ara'kear.

“I am Ara'kear, I rule over this land. Who are you truly? I have trouble believing this form is your true body. Nor that you are a god from this land.” she said growing wary yet again.

“No I am not a god from your lands, and in fact, I am not a god at all.” The Mother said, the tyrant relaxing as she saw the figures mouth move.

“Then why are you here? How, are you here?”Ara'kear asked confused by what The Mother was telling her.

“I can walk through dimensions, it is how I hunt, how I feed. As to why, you, are why I am here. I am able to enter other worlds when I am either summoned, or there is a strong desire in the world.” The Mother responded.

“Your a demon! I won't allow you a foothold in my world fiend!” Ara'kear said as she charged towards The Mother, her body crackling with power. To her surprise, Ara'kear passed right through her targets body.

“Hm, you can't harm what isn't there to be hurt, child. I have been at this game for a very long time now. All you see here is a projection of my mind, I, am not truly in your world. Yet.” The Mother said in a chiding tone as the female recovered from her shock.

“You are wrong in your other statement as well. I am not a demon, in fact I find them most delectable when I eat them. Sadly, they do not fill me as much as humans do.” The Mother said as she hooked a finger over her lower lip as she relished the memory of some of the demons she had had the pleasure of eating.

“Then if you are looking someone to make a deal with to be allowed in, I suggest you look elsewhere.” Ara'kear shouted angrily.

“Again, you are mistaken. I have no need to make a deal to gain entrance to your world. In truth the only reason I have not entered your world, is because I feel that my presence would do little to help your world.” The Mother said in the same chiding tone she had used earlier.

“Then what do you want with me?!” Ara'kear asked growing more irritated with the strange figure.

“I am here to give you an opportunity to fulfill your desire.” The Mother said as she rummaged in her robes with one hand. When she held out her hand, a white Care bear rested in her palm.

“A toy? That thing is supposed to grant my desire?” Ara'kear asked in a scoffing tone.

“Do not judge my children by their appearance. As you already stated, this is not my true form. Since that is true, then the same applies to my Daughter. All I ask is that you hug her and allow to understand your true desire. She will be the one to answer your plea.” The Mother warned her at first, then finished in a serious tone. The strange being then began to fade as she left the room. The stuffed animal dropped to the ground as the hand supporting it disappeared. Ara'kear quickly left the room and ordered the guards outside to make certain nothing leaves the room.

In her home, The Mother laid back in the field of portals as the world she placed Twilight into drifted away. She knew Twilight would be perfect helping Ara'kear, but feared she might get overwhelmed later on. The Mother then placed a small book next to where Twilight sat with a small note on top.

Ara'kear did not return to the prayer chamber till a week later. When she did, the female found the stuffed animal resting exactly where it had been when The Mother dropped it. Seeing the note, Ara'kear picked it up and read it. The note explained to her what The Mother and her offspring feed upon energy in humans. As she finished the note, the tyrant understood why The Mother had sent her Daughter in place of herself.

Picking up the Care bear gingerly, Ara'kear embraced the bear and let her thoughts drift towards her desire. After a moment she held the toy out from her body, feeling like she was losing her mind, until the stuffed animal began to glow. Ara'kear watched in amazement as the teddy bear grew into a humanoid shape. Twilight stood in front of Ara'kear for a moment, then greeted the tyrant pleasantly. When asked by the stuffed animal to undress, Ara'kear did so unnerved by what she was seeing. After she had done as the bear had asked, Twilight walked over and grabbed her shoulders.

While the startled woman was trying to understand how the stuffed toy could grab her without having hands, Twilight shoved Ara'kear's head into her mouth. The tyrant began to struggle as she wrapped her lips around her waist, just below Ara'kear's breasts. Twilight then placed a hand under her meals crotch and lifted the flailing woman up above her head. Letting gravity do most of the work, the Daughter simply relaxed her throat muscles. Which allowed Ara'kear to slide down into her belly. Sitting down quickly, Twilight grunted as her added weight caused her to slam into the ground. The Daughter was not used to gravity, or not being inside The Mothers body where it was always soft. Patting her enlarged stomach gently, Twilight laid her head down and fell asleep.

When she entered the mind of the woman in her stomach, Twilight was overwhelmed by the sheer willpower Ara'kear possessed. Instead of being allowed to peruse the tyrant's memories, the Daughter was forced towards where Ara'kear's true desire was.

When she entered it, Twilight found herself looking at a small female playing in the dirt with a gleeful look on her face. Ara'kear appeared in front of her, and the small child looked up at her and smiled. The image of the child then faded and the tyrant faced Twilight. Speaking in a very fragile tone, Ara'kear said that she wanted her people to have a leader when she died. She didn't want her heir to grow up to rule the rule the world as she did, but she wanted the child to be able to leader Ara'kear's followers. Twilight saw the woman began to tremble as she cried out that she wanted the girl to become strong enough to do what she had to in order to make a life for herself. Ara'kear knew, however, that the shaman would never allow a girl who had been named the tyrant's heir to gain the blessings of the other gods. They all feared another person gaining the strength Ara'kear had when she was growing up.

Understanding the nature of Ara'kear true desire, Twilight left the woman's mind. She then stood up and spat out Ara'kear, releasing her from her stomach. As the tyrant regained consciousness she began to back away from Twilight in fear. The Daughter told Ara'kear not to fear her stomach, for it would only harm the corrupted and those who earned the teddy bear's contempt. While the female clothed herself, Twilight told her that she could and would be more than willing to fulfill her desire.

Ara'kear asked Twilight what she needed to do in order to help the Daughter accomplish her task. The Daughter asked Ara'kear to give her to her own daughter as a gift. Twilight then returned to her toy form and plopped onto the ground. Since all her daughters shared the same birthday, Ara'kear had made her heir's birthday the same day as well. This made it easier to celebrate for all her daughters since they all came to her castle and received gifts from her.

On that day, a few months later, Ara'kear prepared to give her presents to her daughters:

Far'ara, the soon to be ruler of Lar'ara's domain, received a wonderfully crafted bow. It was inscribed with runes that would allow her arrows to fly straight and true, even in the worst of weather.

To Alice, the child born from Allric's shaman, Ara'kear gave stretchable bracers, magically enhanced to block any kind of weapon.

Krilla, who was a magical prodigy and the young ruler over Skrawl's followers, was given a specially crafted magic staff. The staff was made to act a container of sorts for Krilla's dark magic, able to hold untold amounts of magic which could be released later at the warlocks command.

Ara'kear bestowed a very formfitting one-piece garment to Sarah, the future queen of the Amazons, which was made out of the same material as Alice's bracer. Unable to wait to try on her new outfit, Sarah cried out in glee as the armor reacted to her thoughts and made her blend in her surroundings.

Then there was Hillary, the head battle-magi in training under Hellina. To her, Ara'kear gave a book detailing some of the spells and knowledge she had learned over the years. Hillary was a known book worm and was quickly engrossed by her gift.

Finally, Ara'kear walked over to her heir. Kitty'ara as she was called after being adopted, was handed a very odd present. It was a stuffed bear, like no toy ever made in that world. The present drew all the other daughters attention, even Hillary looked up to find out the cause of the commotion.

The other children began to faun over the adorable little animal and then began to ask where Ara'kear had acquired a toy like the little white Care bear. With an all-knowing grin, their mother said that her gift to Kitty was more than just a toy. Ara'kear them all that the stuffed bear came from a being that now supported her heir. She continued to tell them that the bear was that being's avatar in the world. All her daughters began to laugh at the notion, except for Kitty.

Later, after all the others children had left, Kitty'ara went up to her room. She was still happily squeezing her new toy as she made her way into her room. In her room were other dolls Kitty had tried to make whenever she had been upset about something. Leaping up onto her head, she placed the stuffed animal down on the bed in front of her. Kitty began to muse over what to name her new toy, when to her surprise a voice spoke to her. After a moment, the startled little female realized the voice had come from her toy and peered down at the white bear curiously. Suddenly, the stuffed animal glowed white brightly, causing Kitty to shield her eyes.

When the light faded she looked over at her toy and the young woman's jaw dropped at what she saw. Twilight now sat on her bed, looking as stunning as ever. After introducing herself, Kitty cautiously touched her, afraid she wasn't real. Once she confirmed that Twilight was real, the small female hugged the bear tightly. Returning the embrace gently, Twilight began to stroke Kitty's hair.

Jumping off her bed, the little female went over and grabbed her other toys and brought them back over to show Twilight. After holding the toys, Twilight asked Kitty if she wouldn't mind if she ate them, to better understand how she had felt when she had made them. Not quite understanding her new friends request, the young woman agreed. Tipping her head back, Twilight dropped each of the toys down her throat. She then shivered as her stomach digested them. Looking at Kitty, Twilight said that she would be more than happy to be Kitty's friend for life. The look in the little female's eyes was so joyous, that the little girl began to cry.

Outside the room, Ara'kear came up to the door and said goodnight to Kitty, then went to her own room elsewhere in the castle. Quickly going around to extinguish her magic candles, Kitty then crawled under her covers and asked Twilight if she would sleep with her. Smiling gently, the teddy bear climbed under the covers and embraced Kitty. The pair fell asleep in each others arms, Twilight refraining from swallowing her new playmate.
