Hungry like a Guardian
Daybreak hit the forest of Anumen, with the bright orange sun rising from the ocean and over the mountains that surrounded the great forest, casting a blinding glow over the tops of the silver pines around the forest, as light, calming rain batted against the trees and floor of the forest. The scene in Anumen was one of calm that morning, with the gentle sounds of the rain and the singing of the early rising birds seemingly casting a spell of tranquillity over the creatu

UNEXPECTED COMPANY
By NocturneWolf
Chase's day off had come to a good start. He had woken up to the sound of chirping birds after sleeping in, his first indication of a beautiful spring day. Not one to miss out on good weather, he took to biking around the neighborhood, dropping by the nearby park and taking in the brisk yet sunny air. After checking up on his sister Anna, he bought a few groceries before returning to his apartment.

CONTACT
By NocturneWolf
Even from within the Larkspur Airport's baggage claim, Jake could feel the dreary atmosphere of the city he had traveled to. Assorted pieces of trash tumbled down the windswept street outside, following some of the commuters who sauntered in with faces hid under hoods or behind newspapers. Paws jammed into his pockets, he looked at the other passengers around him, consumed in their personal musings. Down the terminal, a cell phone's ringtone echoed with the high-pitch

A Fate Decided
What's happening? Where am I? The husky pondered in a dreary state, as he glanced around the dark room through half-closed eyes. But was he even in a room? No, it couldn't be, he was floating somewhere, suspended in a dark void, upside down-or was he the right way up? Or perhaps he was neither, direction didn't have any meaning here, there was no up or down, left or right, only infinite. Did anything exist? Did he exist? Well isn't that a no-brainer? Wait, did he just think th

The Fate of Anumen?
The dark sky illuminated with an electric blue as lighting blazed up behind the clouds, striking down from the heavens onto the drenched forest of Anumen, followed by the roaring of thunder, like a lion claiming his pride. Miserable grey clouds blocked out the moon and stars from the view of the forest below, pounding the trees and earth with thick sheets of rain. A foul wind brewed, striking the tops of the forests trees, many saplings succumbing to the great force of wind

THE RAIN-MAKER'S GAME
By NocturneWolf
It was clear that they had drifted into a strange new world. They could feel it in the majestic white cliffs that rose high above the seaborne mists, in the eerie air that smelt both of flora and of ice. Their senses could tell them little about the domain they had entered, yet everywhere they could feel its overwhelming presence. The land was both prominent and hidden enough to make them and their dingy feel insignificant.

ROSES AND THE COLOR RED
By NocturneWolf
There were times when Tucker felt he was the luckiest dog alive. Sure, he didn't have the comforts of the Shih Tzus in the Lansings' mansion, but as a German shepherd dog he was pretty sure that lifestyle wouldn't work out for him. He enjoyed feeling the cool grass beneath his paws and basking in the gentle breezes that swept over the gardens surrounding the estate he guarded.
One summer day, Tucker rose after falling asleep in the shade of an oa

THE DIAL
By NocturneWolf
The dial on her wristwatch turned slowly as I watched her sit idly at a caf?. I took comfort in its reliability, how every tiny movement reassured me that time was still in motion. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same for the girl, for after watching her for only and hour I could tell that her mind worked in quite the opposite.
Years of prowling the streets taught me how to sense clues to find out more about my targets. From one of her phone calls, I knew her

ALL WAYS POWERFUL
By NocturneWolf
The following words are of legend, describing a mystic force beyond our grasp or understanding. The people of my village take these words as truth, following their letters every time they travel the forests. You may choose not to accept them, but be warned: he can make you believe…
You are wind, ever-changing yet constant, as gentle as a breeze or as powerful as a gale. Everywhere I feel your presence, sending shudders and chills through my bod

The disappearance of Groomer from the Road Rovers headquarters had not gone unnoticed by the others. Hunter especially had been up in arms about the human woman's missing status and confronted Exile lengthily about it. The husky had been tight lipped at best about her whereabouts with a single response when Hunter had been particularly forceful a few days after...

Coughing up a hundred plus pound figure of Doberman was not something one should try since it was both painstaking on the jaw and numbing for the stomach. Having a giant sized form in your stomach and then having to use your inner muscles to bring back out something as delicious as Blitz could never be a happy experience.
Nonetheless Exile spit the other Road Rover up from inside of him onto the floor of his room in a wet heap of soggy fur before he rubbed his muzzle to soothe the ache. Looki

One in the morning found a vexed Exile drumming his claws against the wood of the desk in his room. He was thinking hard about something and the downward curve of his lips indicated that it wasn't a pleasant thing. Growling to himself the large Siberian Husky couldn't help but mutter something low under his breath as he clutched his fist and slammed it on top of the table

The Wolf and the Lean Dog
One afternoon on a hot summer's day, a dog lay asleep under a tree in the shade. The dog was a husky, one that did not enjoy the heat and so had decided to sleep in the shade, not caring for any dangers that may present themselves in the nearby forest. He was not particularly fat as he preferred to be leaner in the summer, so that the heat was more bearable.
While the dog was sleeping, a large hungry wolf came out of the forest and noticed the dog.

The moon was absent from the black night sky over Nome for a new moon was forming and the stars were left bare across a black canvas of sky the Milky Way left to dazzle viewers on earth with all it's brilliance. Even the weather was merciful on the cold winter's night, nothing but a whisper of a breeze to be felt through the numerous alleys and streets of the town and break the gentle silence that had fallen over the town.

Shadewolf RP
A mid-size Siberian husky with soft fur laid heavy steps on the soil of the dark forest floor. His paws ached from a long journey, his journey alone, his journey to seek eternal solace where he could think and live alone. But he did not wish to die; he did not have the strength to commit suicide or to ask someone else to kill him. No, to be alone, that was enough, no longer troubled by the march of time. He had hoped to find a place of solace wondering through this forest, but t

Smell of Dawn
It was still night. Stars were glittering in the sky, and the trees beneath them were rustling in a cool breeze. It was a hot summer's night, and though most creatures had already gone to sleep, between the thick trunks, there was movement. A rather large figure exited from the thickly leafed area of forest and entered a clearing with a little water source. The large figure was a wolf. His white fur covered most of his body, except for his black paws. His yellow eyes seemed to
