Sikhule is quite an interesting snake. She’s a god, she’s from another world with trillions of gods fighting eternally for dominance. Or at least there were, because in that world she won. She’s here to dominate, be worshipped by, and devour everything that exists, and the fact that she started very very small is no obstacle. Especially when she has a good, adorable, blue raccoon to serve her, and a cute red dragon to feed her.

And then finally, with a click, a squelch and a slurp, it was quiet.

Charlie huddled in the furthest corner of the room, hugging himself, shaking. He didn't cry. He had run out of tears a day and a half ago. Even so, his breath came in raw, ragged gasps, and he felt his shoulders heaving.

The little tiger knew there was no-one left. He knew he was the last. Even so, he raised his head, looking around the towering room, flickering his gaze over the balcony, the...

Awww, it's a pleasure to hear these. Thank you very much. I love the emotions and sensations of vore - isn't feeling, physical and emotional, the most important part of any kink? - so I try to make mine as detailed, intense, and realistic as I can. And poor Charlie has a lot of both he's going through, in this appalling situation. I'm so glad you enjoyed it so much~

Because if they did, where would the fun be? Goldie could mindscrew them or train them or condition them to worship and obey him and delight in being able to serve him on such an intimate level. But happiness and delight are so much less fun to inspire than despair and terror. So they tremble, and cry, and fight, because that's what he wants. And that's how they serve him. Through abject suffering. Isn't it delicious?

It's been too long since I've done anything. Such a tragedy. There are so many stories to end, so many lives to devour... and so many wide-eyed little readers to torment with my tales, before they get to be part of them in a very, very intimate sense.

I haven't been idle, but sadly ruining you all has had to move down the list of priorities a fair amount at the moment. But I'm not going anywhere (unlike other people, who are going straight to these feathered thighs), so although it may be slow, I'll keep on giving. I'm glad it was worth the wait. < 3

And to be fair, Goldie isn't a gryphon at all, he just likes looking like one. The fact is that if his body actually had to resemble the soul lurking inside it, he'd look more like something out of a Lovecraft story. But where's the fun in being an incomprehensible monster if you can't be incomprehensibly gorgeous into the bargain? Not to mention gluttonous.

ChaoskampfNunc - 1 year ago

He is the perfect predator, we all are his prey. It is only a matter of time before my meger offerings of praise and adoration draw the attention of his vast consciousnesses towards me. My fear will no doubt be delicious. Especially the absolute primal terror of my mind right before complete obliteration.

TheGuyWhoKnows - 1 year ago

Oh, my. Quite a delicious honour. Goldie will of course swallow it without hesitation, acting as if it's nothing less than he deserves, but I'm sure he's also delighted to hold such a vaunted, terrifying place in your heart. Thank you very much indeed.

And it's so good you understand his methods so well. It's not about nutrition at all, after all - his body is merely a manifestation of his colossal, broken mind. It's about pleasure. And the pleasure of annihilation is a sweet, sweet drug.

Oh my, it's been a while. And yes, it's fun to be greedy... You know that much very well. And your writing is at least as good as ever. The digestion, pain, and overall terror of this one is indeed very over the top, but you use all the right words to make it work.

TheGuyWhoKnows - 2 years ago

Not necessarily unrelated. Thanks for an interesting question.

I'm not entirely sure who's defined my writing style as it is today. I can definitely see some parallels to Terry Pratchett, who is my all-time idol, and I think I try to use a little of the playfulness of Eoin Colfer as well; he was a big influence when I was growing up. The slightly ambiguous not quite science-fiction, not-quite-fantasy nature which much of the Voidverse runs on is definitely inspired by my favourite fictional universe ever, that of Warhammer 40,000. The Void stole a fair bit from the Warp, I'm pretty sure of that. Otherwise... hmm. I can't really cite any moments I thought "I want to write like that." It's been fun to see how this lovely community has helped me develop, though. :3

And I'd probably call it... semi-erotic psychological horror, maybe. With elements of thriller, maybe, considering all the stuff which happens beforehand. There's definitely a lot of focus on emotions and trauma, as well as the actual slurps and gurgles.

Regardless of what it is, I do hope you enjoy it. Thank ya.

InTheVoid - 2 years ago

Unrelated, who do you cite as writing influences, and what do you consider your genre to be (vore horror or something?)

TheGuyWhoKnows - 2 years ago

Heh heh heh. Guilty as charged. Goldeneye is capable of bringing great joy and great misery, and the thing is, to him the two things are no different. There are worlds and people where he's actually nice most of the time, but it's not for kindness or love. He's incapable of feeling those. Goldeneye just likes mortal minds, and he likes stimulating them. Terror or joy, love or despair. All are delicious. And none will escape being his, one way or another.

saintheartwing - 2 years ago

Just when I thought I was beginning to actually somewhat like him. Well, so much for that.

TheGuyWhoKnows - 2 years ago

It's fair to feel pity for him. He's not just someone who happens to have been born nigh-omnipotent. He earned every scrap of power, and before he could do that he had to build himself up from nothing at all. He has struggled, and he has suffered. But today it is all worth it. And when he's weak, it reminds you that he is still a freakish abomination against the natural order, and it is not easy being him.

I'm glad Goldie managed to take you in as well with his deception. But he's not changing. Believe me, nothing on earth will change his heart from his predatory ways. No-one is safe, not gods or mortals or planets or other shards. Goldeneye is born of the desire to experience, possess, and devour the whole universe, one slow taunting slurping swallow at a time. These three were his first Christmas present to himself, but I suspect they might not be the last. Plenty of cheer to go around inside him, after all.

Thank you kindly. Hope you had a good christmas too.

My first story, The Taste of Terror, was less than three thousand words long. But I have a diary entry from the time saying that I should maybe try and make them shorter in future.

Ooh, that idea does intrigue me. These creatures have disparate, strange consciousnesses, and sometimes Day might naturally feel like a group of people. Night, of course, since he has lived much much more than twenty four hours, has developed his own identity and is much more of a strongly formed personality.

A flock of even weaker, even more innocent, even more helpless Days would be a particular delight for Night, I imagine. They're a rare occurrence, so he'd have to ensure that he savours the opportunity.

Well, thinking about it to this extent is very flattering to me. Thank you. I accept and treasure all fanfiction, of course, and if I do end up using this idea myself I'll credit you for it. Thanks. : 3

Ah, well if you're open to ideas, what if Day, for one moment, didn't manifest as a single entity but multiple? Morning, Noon, Dusk, etc. They certainly wouldn't be as bright as a normal Day... But I don't feel Night would complain about the opportunity to hunt multiples. Especially with the ability to pick and choose, and manipulate a group!

I loved this story so much, here I am going on and on about Fanfiction ideas. X.x

TheGuyWhoKnows - 3 years ago

Hmm. Interesting question. On the one hand, he's not simply male, but on the other hand, he's certainly not simply heterosexual either. I'd imagine he can be changeable about it, but doesn't base what he does on what Day decides to manifest as. So for past Days there have been any and all gender combinations for devourment. This was just one little Day, her memory soon lost amidst literally millions and millions of others which have passed between Night's jaws.

Certainly he'd make a very lovely female naga. Just like he does as a male naga. The Night is beautiful no matter what. Perhaps we'll see.

Randomness - 3 years ago

I am curious if Night switches genders based on what Day chooses? So there's no room for comfort?

really well done. :p

TheGuyWhoKnows - 3 years ago

Well, I'm glad you see him as a well done predator at least. Hatred is a pretty reasonable response to such an unfair character, especially when I try to make everything else in my stories conform to what makes a good story - believable characters, struggles which are relatable, and emotions which are realistic. Goldeneye, like a nearby planet, twists the fabric of the story around his massive ego, and hence he can seem rather horrific and out of place compared to relatable characters like Leshana. Because, of course, that's what he is.

Haven't read Fireflies, but 1984 is very good. I can see the parallels between Goldeneye's dominance over the very nature of what is justice and law in this story, and the rewriting of reality in 1984. Just remember, we have always been at war with Seraphia.

TheGuyWhoKnows - 3 years ago

Oh, nothing but a fantasy in the helpless minds of those creatures blessed to spend eternity returning again and again to my belly. A silly little idea, but it does mean they gain a sort of hope, that the pain and suffering might not be forever, so I encourage it. Mainly so that I can crush it.

Being told you're going to be eaten by a towering feathered behemoth is terrifying, but not enormously surprising beyond the surprise of meeting the gryphon. The fact that Goldeneye just ate all your friends also doesn't help. A beast like this, in short, looks like he's going to not respect your right to not be digested.

TheGuyWhoKnows - 5 years ago

Honestly, the only I reason I made it real-life-ish was because it needed to be a world where gryphons are a known species, and as we all know, Actura is Not One Of Those. It was nice to do some real-word things, though.

Aaaaaand... damn it. Monocles. Of course. F***ing monocles. I've given him one of those before, no less. Of course he needed one here. Well, you've given it to me, he'll get it next time. One violet eye and one gold-rimmed monocle. Beautiful.

It was also nice to do some other characters, and this also allows me the excuse that I'm practicing writing skills which will be useful in general rather than just doing delicious noms. Glad you liked Kevin the unwary.

Power-wise, I'd have to agree that omnipotence can get stale, and I'd blame A CERTAIN FEW PEOPLE as to why Goldeneye turned from mad entity of potent power to abyssal total genius deity who has at times eaten entire planets. (Those certain people again). My current background is that being a creature of extremely fluctuating... everything... how powerful the Golden Eye is, and how much he can use that power, can vary just as much. There have probably been times when he's even weaker and less powerful/intelligent/massive than most mortals. But heeeyyy, those stories aren't as fun as the god of Ian Fleming fabulosity.

So yes, thank you. I love big meaty comments like these which allow me to wax lyrical about my things. It's a pleasure~

nephilim - 5 years ago

Can I say that I like this? Can I?

Because I do. I very much do.

Goldeneye totally has a callously campy appeal in this excerpt. He has an almost Ian Fleming James Bondsian villain-esque vibe. (He would have been hilariously replete with the requisite monocle - in fact, I'm disappointed that there was no monocle in attendance!)

For shame!

Literally, that's the only thing I didn't like. When I kept reading I was /convinced/ that I'd see the monocle emerge.

The brief, yet vital glimpses you give us of the other characters were very, very well done. I liked the chef an awful lot, and I want to see more of his misadventures.

Of course as per usual the writing - technical and creative - was spot on and I have no complaints.

I loved the unbridled sadism and the omnipotence of Goldeneye. Usually the latter removes all interest almost immediately, but somehow you still keep the interest and intrigue very much alive.

So, in short; I really loved this interlude into your version of London and Ian Fleming stage actors (;

"I... I'll squirm, M-m-master, I'll squirm all you want... b-but please, don't swallow! PLEASE!"

Four... yep, that's my curse when it comes to trying to do any art. Fucking eye sockets. Never. Ever. Align symmetrically. But even when it does work it can look a little off. Besides, Goldeneye is cross-eyed here, I'd imagine. It's like looking at your nose... or your tongue, or something about to vanish within. Poor poor Geta.

And Third, I know right? I probably should have reduced it... but that'd lose the throatbulge. I like to zoom in on that. Gmmmph.

TheGuyWhoKnows - 5 years ago

Goldeneye is made up of shreds of billions of different minds, and he's probably one of the greatest psychologists in the cosmos, having an outsider's perspective on sentience. Willing prey are a curiosity, and how he reacts will depend - will he test the bounds of that willingness, will he attempt to drive it deeper and turn them from desire to pleasure themselves to desire to please him, will he reciprocate and enjoy it equally... anything is possible, and Goldeneye is never truly confused.

Which is to say he is my ragdoll character who has fathered two children, been eaten, swapped minds, eaten a planet, become a snake and a kangaroo, and done plenty of other things I've had him do, and every part of this is completely and totally canon for him. Yeaaaaaah!

AN exercise in putting the "short" back into short story, because boy do I have trouble with that. This was written a while back but not posted, and is intentionally fairly bare-bones. What are we now, little one? In their lonely watchtower, Damian and Alex's confront each other and themselves, sadistic predator and tortured preything curiously united by their psychoses. But of course, there are darker tones to delve...

Every ordeal between Alex and Damian is already poetic and beautiful, thank you very much! Just because Damian sometimes imagines that it saves many many more from his own desires doesn't mean it wasn't the most perfect relationship ever to exist... Ahem. Yes, intimidate sadism. Best kind of sadism ever. I must do more of it. I wish the fanart urge all the best in rising - I still love those wonderful pictures. No-one's quite got Damian's roguish playfulness quite like you have.

Oh, I can't even really imagine precisely how he sounds. But Jeremy Irons would be far, far from my last choice. An interesting idea... oh god now I'm starting to do it. D8

“Death? Of course, it is my stock in trade." Mmm, Jeremy...

TheGuyWhoKnows - 5 years ago

Tee hee. It was very satisfying to break him down for once. Alex probably found a tiny bit of enjoyment in it as well. Maybe. Possibly he was just too traumatised. But I'm pleased and a little relieved that the twist came so unexpectedly - I've been feeling like every time I speak to someone on a story thing which has not yet been revealed I have the secret in big flashing lights on my metaphorical forehead.

As for Damian's home universe... mmm, maybe, although it's absolutely disconnected from this one and won't actually bear any real relevance beyond how it's influenced the big featherhead. The two suns I did entirely because it was cool. x3

TheGuyWhoKnows - 5 years ago

Hee. Well, I'm pleased it took such high priority on your schedule. Damian would have waited... but there's no time for suffering quite like the present.

Yep, Damian's different presentation was one of the main reasons for this chapter being so delayed. It's damn difficult to keep him the charming maniac he is and at the same time break down that persona... well, I'm glad the result was so interesting. Now, on to the next delicious tale...

tangent - 5 years ago

Ah, such lovely character development!!! I really love the concept of inflicting all the pain and sadistic urges onto one being instead of millions. In a way, this makes every ordeal between Alex and Damian poetic and beautiful on top of the (already so well done) type of intimate sadism that is guaranteed to make me squirm. Very inspirational stuff, man. I feel the fanart urge arising...

On an unrelated note, I can't seem to get the voice of Jeremy Irons out of my head whenever Damian speaks. Oh god...

Hee hee hee. Glad you liked it. The world he rules has a quite a bit of detail in my mind: more of it will be revealed, once it's translated to cyberspace. Basically, it's Goldeneye's playground, just as he is my playground character: somewhere where I can say anything happens without worrying about overarching world arcs and other storylines like my other tales are constrained by. Goldeneye is just fun. And evil.

TheGuyWhoKnows - 6 years ago

Thank youuuu~ Again, I seem to have done unintentionally something which works rather well. I chose spaghetti because it seemed like a very good food for teasing with - all those slim strands to just be swallowed up -and then the binding Lyca just seemed to be what ought to happen when you're tipped into an enormous bowl of piping hot spaghetti.

It's really rather fun when prey has to struggle against themselves as well as their predator - a sort of extra level of dominance, where part of them already belongs to their murderous master. Little Lyca was an interesting and enjoyable experiment in this conflict, and I rather like what came out. Let's face it, an experience as sensuous as all that is not all bad, as much as the mind might deny it. :3

And I'm glad you liked what little I offered of the world. I have quite a bit set out for Goldeneye's primary domain, and I do intend to continue the saga of his genesis at some point. For now, I just like playing with these teases. :3

nephilim - 6 years ago

I loved this. Just... that's all I need to say. But, no, really. The food-play was a fantastic touch (bondage from spagehetti? Whudathunk). And the internal cognitive dissonance that poor Lyca faces as a dutiful slave and a living, breathing organism that only wishes to live.

The teasing glimmers of the world in which Goldeneye rules is very intriguing too ~

Yet again you flatter me, much more than I deserve. All I can say is that I try to create emotion and atmosphere, and this sort of eloquent, comprehensive praise pleases me greatly by the mere implication that I’ve achieved even part of what I wanted to.

(Sorry, I’ve been doing a lot of essay writing recently. I’m finding myself a little over-wordy.)

Anyway, thank you very much indeed. The change in tense was very deliberate. The “sense of dynamic movement and punch” is what I wanted to show: after all, this scene revolves a lot around actions and inactions, and I’m pleased that you felt that.

As for the feel of it… yes. I wanted this to mark a change, as it’s not just an event to influence their relationship (although it does do that quite a bit as well). It’s the beginning of something… more.

Anyway, back to writing it. 8D

nephilim - 6 years ago

I love how you lovingly crafted the mood and tone; it is done with incredible finesse. Your diction and word-choice evoke every chord of feeling.

Your blending of narrative, action, and emotion is nothing short of masterful.

And I have to commend you. You handled the tense-shifting very, very well. Normally tense-shifting is the product of amateurish - or worse yet - lazy writing.

But approaching the story in the third-person omnisicent and present tense, is creating an emotional charge here that would otherwise be impossible.

Normally I refrain from using present tense, but you are certainly inspiring me to write in it again. It can provide a real sense of dynamic movement and punch that is weakened when used in the imperfect past.

I can't wait to see what's next. This piece is also set apart from the other installments; it feels vastly different; more on a grand theatric scale than a stand-alone one-off -- was this your intent?

TheGuyWhoKnows - 6 years ago

Well, the alternative is that I could write this in about a third of the length, and all the rest is just unnecessary vanity. :P But I do love emotion. It's the most delicious part. >8D

Of course, though, the little fox has a tendency to get hurt no matter what.

And aww, heheh. The colour combination is a beautiful one, I agree. And to think that until I actually started typing out their stories, he was golden-feathered rather than black. Black is definitely better.

Thank you! I did want a horrific, inevitable, almost dream-like feel to it.

The beast of the Gladewoods. It's hardly an ancient legend, having only appeared a few weeks ago in the taverns of the small forest village of Naimalh. There are no specifics. Only that there's something out there. Something predatory.

Of course, the young noble Lady Equustra doesn't believe it's real. But that doesn't mean she can't use it for her fantasies. For the beautiful young unicorn is tormented by her own desires: dreams of being caught, consumed, dominated utterly into...

Kenkii - 6 years ago

This was absurdly decadent, if you don't mind the pun. I enjoyed every minute of reading.
Really great work, as always!

TheGuyWhoKnows - 6 years ago

Okay. Apologies it took a while to respond, but... I wanted to give something like this the answer it deserved. Long story short (even if I'm not very good at keeping stories short anymore)... thank you so much.

I had been particularly looking forward to this piece, I admit. After all the foreplay and storylines, the build-up and characterisation... here, the vore itself was the focus, not the method or plot device, not the climax. It was what it was about. I'm very, very pleased that such focus resulted in what you saw in it. I can emphasise with the idea of each epitomising their role - the dominant, the submissive, and the victim of their desires. Although it seems that the dominant is not easily satisfied with just one...

And Equustra herself... what can I say? Desire is the cruellest emotion to find yourself in thrall to, for it does not hurt, but pleasures. The poor unicorn was not dommed because of Goldeneye, she doomed herself by being her. The crime of deliciousness, so to speak - except it was mental as well as physical.

But now... I admit, calling it a Mona Lisa sounds a bit silly, but such depth of so clearly sincere praise inevitably overwhelms the feeling. Again, all I can say is that the dominance of the vore here meant I could give it the "Mona Lisa2 treatment - rather than a painting of a landscape and single subject, the focus was on the subject themself, and so I could devote every ounce of detail. Decadent is what I wanted: decadent for all characters involved, and decadent to me, to write around twenty thousand words devoted to the eternal act of consumption.

Ah, i thought you might remember that... this is indeed the story which I referred to. And I don't think it is presumptuous: such delicious submission runs through both. In another world, they could be sisters.

Okay, I didn't actually realise you'd done the "let go, my dear" concept as well, forgetting once again... but as we see here, the unconscious mind can have strong influences. So thank you for what I gained from your tales into this.

As for Siobhan's intelligence... what I wanted to imply was less sapience as it was... emotion. Animals can feel affection, and Siobhan certainly did for her mistress. She wasn't intelligent for a horse, but she was a loving, devoted creature... and also delicious.

The second twist, however... hee hee hee. For once, unlike several of my stories, this one was planned from the beginning. It was just... an absolute psychological kicker for Equustra. I feel that the concept of being desired, of being something worth spending time to perfect, is a strong theme in this sort of preyish feelings, so of course, when she learns that he triggered her intentionally, all for this... well, unicorn couldn't help but be flattered, and also aroused as hell.

So, overall... you're welcome. And thank you too.

nephilim - 6 years ago

The fact that these three articulated pawns are a gryphon, unicorn, and mare (and they walk into a bar...), does not matter. Under your masterful hand, you have captured the pinnacle, the essence of what is vore, as perceived by the submissive female mindset.

Because of this - as someone that is predisposed toward being a submissive prey-minded woman - this story spoke to me. It ferreted out every dark desire, every depraved compulsion, and laid it out bare; to see this reflected BACK to me, is astonishing.

We have not a gryphon in this piece, but the dominating male. We have not a unicorn in this pece, but the submissive female voyeur, and we have not a mare in this piece, but the unwilling, prey. And the unicorn, oh the unicorn, she is the embodiment of the nascent arousal that - I think - any woman that has ever had even the faintest brushes with vore - will see as a reflection, an extension of herself.

What can I say. This was stunning. In some ways, I feel that this was your Mona Lisa or Sistine Chapel. You were commissioned by the patron of the arts to create something enigmatic, arresting, and universal. This story is as universel as Mona Lisa's smile; and as arresting and decadent as the Sistine Chapel.

I remember once that you said that the dynamic between Danny/Isadora would inspire you for a future project that would cover the very same subject matter that I illustrated; I can see the inspiration in this. So, in a way, excuse me for my presumptuous behavior, but I feel like this story is a love-child of our writing. To think that I could inspire you like this, I see that you have borrowed some elements from my story. The religious icons; Equustra becoming enslaved by her lust; Goldeneye knowing the pleasure of HER submission, even going as far as to recreate the scene with Isadora, re-imagined with Equustra as she holds onto Goldeneye's mouth with her feeble hands as he tells her to let go, as a simulacrum... is just.... I am so incredibly touched.

You make me want to write again.

I also must make note of the two twists in this work. And I loved them both. That the mare had sentience, was utterly, beautifully unnerving, partly because of HOW unexpected it was. When I read that part, my mouth dropped open.

And, that Goldeney engineered this, using a devilish alchemy to command Equustra's desires for his selfish ends, making this premeditated and purposeful... divine.

Thank you, Zeus.

What has he done? What has he done wrong?

Goldeneye is new now, his soul reshifted by the simplest touch of his horrified vulpine friend. And he has a lot of things he's suppressed all the time he's been with Josh.

They'll get their answers: who the fox is, what happened to rid a god of his power, what the true story is behind the facade. But there is more, for the gryphon has his own desires to attend to. And Josh will suffer.

You're welcome.^^ -purs-

For the universe of which both Damian and Goldeneye live in their powers are realistic for their worlds. They make perfect sense and are not over powered nor under powered. And you didn't pull one of the easiest traps to fall in which is taking an underpowered character and suddenly having them skyrocket to being god. No you started your boys out at just the right level and had them progress beautifully from there.^^

Characters only become sues when their power exceeds the limits of the worlds in which they live. It's not like you dropped a Super Sayian into the world of Rurouni Kenshin [which is a world completely without super powers] You didn't put Super Man inside our world. Your characters are as powerful as they need to be. And that is a very hard goal to achieve but you have certainly got it with these two!

Everything is about how you present it. It's all about making it appealing to the eye. You took hyper-dominant, over obsessive, power mad, deep brooding backstory and transformed it into something not many are capable of. You presented things in a subtle way and gradually let on in some places while highlighting moreso on others and then brutally slapping the reader in the face with one aspect in particular. You layered the personalities and that is what makes the characters so alluring. You didn't take everything and ball it up and hit the reader with it all at once. You picked and chose which aspects of personality you wanted to highlight the most with each character and that is exactly what happened.^^

Oh yes -chuckles- I do know that feeling! The two crazies I mentioned earlier, they do that to me from time to time. Personally I don't mind it one bit. I love when I sit down to type something and the words just...flow. I don't have any forethought as to what I'm going to write it just...happens...it appears, as if some other source is streaming itself through my body and working my fingers into a frenzy upon the keyboard in a desperate attempt to convay what it so desires. Thats how I end up with these extremely lenthgy stories and rp posts. XD It also means that it infuriates me just that much more if my connection glitches or the computer freezes before I have a chance to save what I wrote and then have to do it all over again. And of course when I try to do it all over again the second time around it sucks because I'm not in that 'zone.'

Oh I know that as well. XD Long story short I was very sick for several years and my doctor kept jumping around from medication to medication with me and unfortunately all the sides affects were things such as major depression, anxiety, increased irritability, anger, aggression...everything. For three years I was nothing but the absolute WORST wreck of a person, you seriously didn't want to be around me. And for three years those crazy characters of mine went into hibernation. About a year ago now I finally said I had enough and switched to something different and I started to become my old self once again. Then, one day, out of the blue...POOF! They were back and stronger than ever. I dont blame them for being so eager to get out, especially since they've been trapped for so long.

TheGuyWhoKnows - 6 years ago

Awww... you're too kind. Much, much too kind. I do like my maddening madness-filled mindfucks. :3

I am sometimes worried that my characters may seem a little overgodlike. Essentially unlimited power, a dramatic, brooding background, and a hyper-dominant personality? Sounds a little like the predatory Mary Sue is about! I've tried to keep a sense of personality about both of them, and so thank you therefore for that kind comment. I really appreciate it. ^^

But yes, it is nice when characters surprise you. X3 I used to keep getting cold thrills when Damian went off on his speeches in early stories - a sort of "my god, his obsession is just so STRONG" sort of thing. He's full of surprises, and I swear some of them he decides, not me. >_>

And exactly! Be warned, though. No locks will truly be enough for creatures like these. YOU ONLY SLOW 'EM DOWN.

DivineDarkEvil - 6 years ago

Mindfucks are amazing. But writing them takes a steady mind to actually create otherwise it'll turn out some horrible mess in which you cannot hope to tell which way is up and which way is down. But this, you have an example of not only how to properly write a mindfuck but how to make it picture perfect.

Telepathy is a hard power to control with a character, always watching the boundaries and making sure you aren't abusing it and turning the character into a sue on accident. Its one of those goldielocks zones. Not too hot, not too cold, just right. Both characters balance the tightrope with immense skill.

Sometimes the best things happen when you aren't even aware of them in the first place, they happen when you least expect it. Having gotten a mythology and such a massive story arc out of it and the fact you had fun with it definately says something! Oh and of course the mindfucks XD

Oh trust me these two are VERY determined and VERY patient in their endevors. -adds more locks again-

TheGuyWhoKnows - 6 years ago

Hehehehehehehhehe. I like mindfuckings. Thank you very much indeed. I'm delighted that you enjoyed it.

The weird thing is, though, I never used to be much of a fan of telepathy. The only reason it features so heavily in my evil evil tales is that I wanted Damian, in my first story, to tease Alex as the fox slid down his throat. Thought, "Sure, I'll make him telepathic, then. He's already done a lot of magicky things, so..."

And then I get a mythology, a colossal story arc, and oodles of fun out of it. And of course, lots and lots of mindfuckings.

As for those two... if they're insane, don't count on it. Maniacs can be very, very determined and very, very patient - Goldeneye is a case in point, after all. Put more locks on already!

Perfection. Pure Perfect. There is no other way to describe it. Just...oh my....-drools-

In retrospect its probably a good thing neither of my two characters which are as insane as Goldie aren't gods or something similar otherwise I'm damn well sure they would have done exactly what he did! XD Oi! Get back in your cages! -stuffs them back into cages- No godhood for you...you'll blow up the Existance and even AntiExistance! -adds some extra locks on the cages-

I actually have an interactive planned with him, with several perspectives - you play a young noble prince, visiting his royal court. Needless to say, vore will ensue.

TheGuyWhoKnows - 6 years ago

Thank you. Your precise and sincere compliments - and from one of the best writers of the portal, no less - are always a pleasure to read. ^^

And Goldie... yes, he is interesting. His activities aren't exactly "justifiable" - he is callous, cruel, and has never in his life displayed the slightest ounce of empathy with anything - even those who think of him as a friend or benevolent being are wrong: it simply pleases him to make them happy for now. Goldeneye sees the world - and everything in it - as nothing more than his personal toys.

He is an extremely interesting character to write about, and an extremely handsome gryph to boot. Thank you very much indeed.

TheGuyWhoKnows - 6 years ago

Aww, thank you. I'll keep at it.

Goldeneye is very, very fun to write.

nephilim - 6 years ago

This is lavishly decadent. I love this.
Interestingly, you have created a stunning persona here that can actually "justify" their vore proclivities.

As Goldeneye appears to be a conduit for pleasure and lust, it would stand to reason that he would explore the depths of sensation, including consumption of another being.

I enjoy Goldeneye's tone and manner of speech. And writing - as you were - from the first person allows us to be not just a voyeur, but to slide behind his eyes, into his skull, like the many shards of the hivemind.

This will be a fascinating tale as we witness this from Goldeneye's perspective. What a delightful slant on the narrative.

I do agree with your point about gryphons. Dragons can never come close to the feathered ones - although i did find Volscian's quirks a lot of fun to write. He is a very fun dragon indeed.

And as for Jess... yes, i was trying to create a slight degree of hypocrisy about her. She's young, rich, quite pampered - despite her relationship with her father, how do you think she managed to get the transport for that trip? Using his name and the considerable sums of money he still resolutely gives her as an allowance, o' course. Jess hasn't really broken free. Despite her intelligence, she doesn't really understand a lot about the world.

But she'll learn. Oh, she'll learn.

And Oscar... yeah, he's an instant classic. Almost a pity he's more of a prey character - won't deny that he would make rather a hot predator. Mmm...

>_>

But yes, thank you for that. I'm keeping it all in mind. ;3

TheGuyWhoKnows - 7 years ago

The embarassing truth is that despite all the sadism, cruelty and general horrificness I like to put into my terrible tales... having to decide that a prey character is truly dead is really, really depressing to me. To date, only one of the prey characters of my own devising has suffered genuine death.

And anyway, Oscar and Jess were too adorable to lose. ^^ And I have some fun stuff planned for them.

TheGuyWhoKnows - 6 years ago

Yes, I was so gobsmacked by the astounding insight of your comment that it took me two months to reply. Honest. >_>

But I do agree, anthropomorphic universes should have some balance between the importance of the species and that of the person themselves. And the culture especially, yes. Not in the case that "hey, we have a perfectly civilised society, and oh, also... eating people is legal." I really find it irritating when a writer uses the furry-animal connection to justify a world where vore - aka murder - is legal. Yes, that could happen, but it would be like Actura's hunger wars: there would be no chance in hell, in my opinion, of this civilization evolving... essentially at all.

And yes, I like the slight danger between the two of them... especially with Oscar's darker side. He has had some rather awkward and rather... bloody dreams about the little mousie. Make no bones about it, Jess is a delicious little morsel. And Oscar finds himself uncomfortably aware of that sometimes.

Oh, wait. I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE. /B)

TheGuyWhoKnows - 7 years ago

It will indeed. And more. >:)

But now I've started to think about it, I've started to realise just how much potential Actura has for all kinds of stories. What with the Last Day having wiped out pretty much all civilzation, there's essentially an entire world which was lost. And that's a lot of things to explore...

Although, as you may have guessed, being an explorer like these two does not go quite so well for them... *sniff* I'm writing the next part right now, and man, it's heartbreaking.

Aww... well, you're welcome to try it. Just be warned: Alex has a... "guardian" of sorts, and Damian will not appreciate someone other than him taking his little fox. Be careful...

ArcaneSigil - 6 years ago

I may have to borrow him for a... ehm... little while... O.O

TheGuyWhoKnows - 6 years ago

Oh, he is tasty. He really is. Poor, poor Alex...

*Damian licks him*

It's the tailcuddling which makes it, isn't it? The only friend poor Alex can hope to find in his hellish nightmare is his own tail. ^^

To Alex, wherever you are, in whatever universe: I am so, so sorry for what these tales do to you. I hope you find some escape one day, somehow. I promise that I'll try to help you.

But Damian is watching. How can I dare?

So it's been a while. But I promise you, dear reader: I haven't forgotten - and neither have either of our beloved predator and prey. Indeed, neither of them can even think of much else.

Emotional situations are critical for any truly good story, and this is especially true with vorarephilia. It wouldn't at all be the same if it didn't bother me a little, and perhaps I'm a little masochistic, but it's much better when it leaves some kind of an impact. Your story comes off as a lot more than just smut, which can be rather hard to find with a porn oriented site. (Nothing at all wrong with smut, but it just isn't the same as a true plot.)

As for how Alex comes off, he definitely seems likes a three dimensional character, especially as the story progresses. His depression and desperation show a deeper character, as well as a development with aspects such as him flat out attacking Damian. I see perhaps even some corruption growing in the poor, innocent soul.

Sorry it took a while to get here to reply, but I am anxiously awaiting the next chapter.:)

TheGuyWhoKnows - 7 years ago

Gosh. Wow. Thanks a lot. I don't really know how to respond to something as eloquent as this.

I'm glad that you feel able to emphasize with the characters, and Alex in particular. His personality is constantly being dominated by his tormentor, and I've sometimes worried that he comes across as less of a real person and more a jumble of whimpered, broken sentences. It's good to know that you, at least, can feel sorry for him. Poor, poor fox.

I'm sorry if you've been bothered by the rampant terror and horror of this piece, though. What can I say? The emotions are one of my favourite parts of vorarephilia situations, and I try to do them as realistically and as intensely as I can. I'm pleased that you think I've done that, then. Thanks a lot!

And where next for our helplessly doomed hero and viciously cruel villain? Only time, and Chapter 6 onwards, will tell. All I can say... is that Damian is far, far more than a murderous monster without any remorse. And Alex is just beginning to find out what, and who, he is.

whitewolf3659 - 7 years ago

Oh so much to say and yet am limited by the constraints of the english language. There are things that defy the ability to be expressed by words, though this series comes quite close. I could write a page in response to this story so far, especially this chapter in particular, but I'll keep it relatively short. I can't ever read anything with true emotional detachment, and that makes reading stories like this both painful and perfect. I feel legitimate sorrow for Alex while reading, and hatred toward Damian. Toward Damian there is a nagging hope that the glimmers of his old self will break through, but that will be revealed in future chapters.

I applaud you for writing such an emotionally engaging work. Admittedly, this series bother's me a bit, on the emotional level because of how in depth I analyze things, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. In this case it isn't a bad thing at all. There are few stories that I read that instill true fear or sorrow or harted, and being able to convey such strong feeling is a talent. (Forgive me if my comment jumps around a bit, I'm tired lol) As a closing note, the way you ended this chapter makes me desperately curious as to what is coming next, especially in regards to how Alex will use his new knowledge, and how Damian will react. I will be waiting to continue reading. Kudos.

TheGuyWhoKnows - 7 years ago

:D Thankies. I'm quite pleased with those. I'm glad the line about Alex's lovely eyes came out well. I was worried it might be a bit corny sounding. I'm far too fond of those silly poetic metaphors.

This is one of my personal faves: "And now I remember the delicate fragility of him that screams it’s vulnerability every time I so much as look: his heart seeming so weak, fluttering with terror. So weak."

I just love the word "fluttering". XD

Well, as I have hinted a bit, my stories take place in the same world, which I have called Actura. More than that, they are going to slowly become part of an enormous story arc that will takes all across this strange world, and beyond.

So lets have a look at Actura, world of the benevolent Authority, of innocent lives lived ot the full... and of dark and twisted monsters that may end it all.

Some of this will become relevant in the future. A lot of it is just...

How did I wait until now to read this? I am SO glad that I have now... Explains a lot more about Actura's history.

tangent - 7 years ago

Ahhhh please just keep writing <3

TheGuyWhoKnows - 7 years ago

Well, if I may take this as an excuse to be boringly obsessed with this world...

Actura's smaller population is due in part to the high number of sterile, inter-species couples that can't have children. There's also the high quality of healthcare and welfare, which leads to better birth control methods and so less babies.

Of course, there's also the Last Day, which wiped out something like 65% of the planet's population. That put a bit of a downer on things. :P

Someone like Lord Theo would be nice, of course. But on the bright side, we've never been at the point where without someone like Lord Theo, civilization would probably have sunk into extinction. Cometh the time, cometh the man.

The more sadistic inhabitants? Well, you've already met some of them. ;) But there's a few more to be introduced...

OH GAWD. SO MANY THINGS I WANT TO WRITE...

tangent - 7 years ago

Ugh, why can't our planet have a small manageable population and a leader with a voice like Theo?

Anyway, I enjoyed this. I'd be interested to read about the different cultures and the more sadistic inhabitants. :3

A commission for the lovely and charming Aeznon of furaffinity, at http://www.furaffinity.net/user/aeznon/ . Geta( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6315780/ ) belongs to him, Pangur belongs to Koschei, at http://www.furaffinity.net/user/velociawesome . Thanks to both for actually paying me to use such lovely characters.

Time is running out for Geta. His presentation - yes, the presentation to the rest of the university, counting for 25% of his final mark - is happening tomorrow....

I can’t say the name.

I know it’s ridiculous. I know that to be like this is just another victory for… for him. I know that he knows this. Of course he does.

And I know how heavenly – how “exquisite”, as he would put it (oh Catalyst, even that word brings back the memories) – it feels. To worm his way so deep into me that my mind itself is filled with him, choked with the terror of him, those dark feathers and soft fur, that terrible scent, thick...

I would like to commission a "complete" illustration (probably 40-70 pages) at some point either by koschei or possibly neltruin This will likely be a ways down the road however since I'm clearing a ton of other commissions

TheGuyWhoKnows - 7 years ago

I'm not entirely sure. Perhaps so.

Koschei has done an excellent job of the eyes, though. They're very important for this story, and I'm very pleased with how they've come out.

After his capture, Finn was interviewed extensively by a range of clinical psychologists and behavioural scientists, in an attempt to understand his motives. Although willing to chat amiably about his later life, it became clear that Mr Sharpe was refusing to speak about his youth, and that thsi was possibly a very useful pressure point for further study. But he would not crack.

That is, until he was administered two and a half times the normal dose of an officially illegal truth...

TheGuyWhoKnows - 7 years ago

Well, I can assure you that Redstone is not necessarily going to do "good"... but you have a point. Finn is certainly a villainous character, but he's just so fun that I find myself rooting for him sometimes...

TheGuyWhoKnows - 7 years ago

Um. Possibly. It was more that Finn is the main character of this story, and our dear Redstone is in direct opposition to him. Essentially, this whole story is a bit of a twist on the traditional "superhero" storyline: hero meets heroine, they start to fall in love, hero suffers strange experience that gives him superpowers, hero develops his powers and eventually confronts and defeats the villain, hero returns to his girl... and then he gently and lovingly murders her.

I suppose you have a point, though. Certainly, Finn is somewhat villainous... maybe I'll change that round actually. Thanks for the favourite, by the way. : 3

However, I can assure you that just because Brutus wants Finn dead, it's not going to be the case that he does good. Oh, no...
