I'm working with an actual animation program (PAP) to learn a bit more about how to do this well. At the moment I'm just drawing walking loops but hopefully I'll be able to apply my new skills to something sexy soon.
I might do a feet first version next, Jannak, I'll have to see what takes my fancy. ;) There's some feet-first unbirth in my "story with illustrations" folder, be sure to check them out.
