"Do you see his halberd? He's one of the rangers from the north."

"Is it safe to let him in here?"

Arias's sharp ears picked up every word floating around the old pub, but he didn't seem to care. The gray-furred canine was used to the nervous looks and the pointed fingers, which his form and conduct naturally drew to him. At well over six feet tall,

Naya peered furtively over his shoulder as he crept down the sunlit hall. The marigold fox was stepping softly to avoid clicking his claws on the tiled floor, eventually slipping into a nearby kitchen and hurrying towards the refrigerator. CALLINGS

Home was that way.

Home was on the third floor of the apartment building, two blocks down the avenue. Victor had lived there all sixteen years of his life. He should know.

The brisk wind swept discarded newspapers and small wisps of snow down the darkened street corner. It was late, late enough for only a few jacket-clad pedestrians to pass within the jackal's vision. He was never out at this hour; his parents were probably

TIGHT SITUATIONS

By NocturneWolf

“Time is running out!”

The announcer's voice blared over the riled viewers as they gazed upwards into the night sky. Dangling high from a crane, a small metal box swung precariously over the swirling river below, suspended only by a thick rope steadily being burnt through by a tray of coals. With each gust the whole structure creaked uneasily, sending waves of chatter through the jittery crowd that overshadowed the clinks and thuds coming from w

The sight that flew past Hachi's eyes astonished him.

A sea of melded colors panned across his vision, broken by streams borne from passing lights. Accompanying it was a gentle whir that filled his ears while an ocean-touched breeze sifted through his fur. Even from within the Larkspur Airport's baggage claim, Jake could feel the dreary atmosphere of the city he had traveled to. Throat_Wolf - 9 years ago

Cute story (thanks for the watch). I gather that it's in a series of either RPs or stories so I don't have the context, but as a simple story of one anthrowolf nomming another, it's pretty good. The description is well-done, and the characters' motivations seem sensible.

Bonus points for being non-snuff vore. I gather that spending time in each others' tummies without dying is a regular habit for these two and I like that.

I'd be happy to co-write something with you if you wanted to try something in my Vore/Neko Campus universe, or Wolfen universe, or whatever. :)

THIRTY MINUTES OR LESS

Ashburn Park was a great place to work, even during night shifts. The breezes that blew over the large houses in the neighborhood kept the air clear and crisp, with the scent of trees and flowers along the streets wafting into the twilight. Good story. I like non-fatal vore, and this is a good example. I'd tend to agree, the humor is nicely done, and I ended up feeling for both the delivery person and the guard dog by the time it was over. :)

CanisLupisVulpe - 10 years ago

Besides of a couple of things, it's a good read. The vore scene is nicely done. Not too detailed. I also like the humor. If you plan on having a smoker in another story, the one thing I suggest is just say "he pulls out a cigarette and lights it." Short and too the point. Keep up the good work.

This story serves three purposes, but first and foremost it's a very special gift piece for Akela! Thanks for all the help you have given me recently!

This story is about one of Akela's characters, Antaka. I intended it as a bridge from his last story to his upcoming Vore List Five series, but unfortunately the first of the series came out just moments before I was finished. Now I'm afraid this will feel out of place, but I hope its enjoyable nonetheless...

THE RAIN-MAKER'S GAME

By NocturneWolf

It was clear that they had drifted into a strange new world. They could feel it in the majestic white cliffs that rose high above the seaborne mists, in the eerie air that smelt both of flora and of ice. Their senses could tell them little about the domain they had entered, yet everywhere they could feel its overwhelming presence. The land was both prominent and hidden enough to make them and their dingy feel insignificant.

There were times when Tucker felt he was the luckiest dog alive. The dial on her wristwatch turned slowly as I watched her sit idly at a caf. I took comfort in its reliability, how every tiny movement reassured me that time was still in motion. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same for the girl, for after watching her for only and hour I could tell that her mind worked in quite the opposite.

Years of prowling the streets taught me how to sense clues to find out more about my targets. From one of her phone calls, I knew her
